I don’t know how this place has 5 stars!!! I went in because I read all positive great reviews. The moment I walked in I felt like I was being laughed at. They are so rude I’ll never be returning again.

I miss getting my nails done at Zio! I worked in Englewood for three months and had my nails done at Zio several times. I absolutely love this place! Clean, friendly, courteous, and always love my nails when they were finished. I can’t wait to get back and get them done here again.

This is my 2^nd time coming here and today I brought my mother and daughter and it was a perfect relaxing day. Danny, Jin, and Michelle are the perfect team and helped make this day great.
I love how clean this place is, how meticulous they are with their services and they do NOT rush!!! That is what makes or break a salon. I truly leave here feeling pampered and I am a very finicky customer.

I go with my husband to the nail salon. He doesn’t like salons with big storefront windows where he feels he’s on display. The Unilocal reviews were very good, so we thought to give Zio Nail Salon and Spa a try. Right away, we got a mani/​pedi appointment: his was regular, mine was gel. We were given the choice of green tea, lemon or lavender spa bath as we sat in our massage chairs. They had every gel color I could want to choose from. And the OPI selection was nice too. As they prepared my nails and cuticles, only sanitized or new materials were used. Denny, my manicurist was thorough and nice. I asked him to pay attention to the outside of my pinky toe. It was the first time, I left a nail salon without pain. My husband seemed relaxed as Michelle worked on his feet and legs.
We will be returning!

I just got my mani and pedi here for the first time. I like my mani but sorry the lady who did my pedi didn’t do a good job.
There’s this one lady who works there (I believe she’s the youngest) and has this negative attitude towards customers which made me so uncomfortable. I was the only person there who understood Korean (and she knew I spoke Korean) but still she would keep complaining and say negative things about the person who she was doing the nails for. I was so shocked how she would make such racist comments and have racist attitude towards the customer. The customer was a regular there and she was not treated well. I wonder what she said about me after I left!
I liked the lady who did my mani and she did a good job but I don’t know if I want to return to Zio again.
It’s been 3 days and my pedi is already peeling!!! Um… this never happened at any other places. Wow great job seriously?!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE. I moved to the Hackensack area fairly recently and was trying to find a good nail place. I’m very particular about my nails so I went to countlessssss amount of salons and couldn’t find the one I loved. I came across Zio on Unilocal and had to try because of the great reviews and the reviews are absolutely right. I’ve been coming here for a few months now and I am never disappointed! Every single employee here is amazing at what they do and you really feel pampered when you go. They are very clean and sanitary. Every person gets brand new file, buffer and moisturizing anti-​aging gloves. Pedicures get 3 different scented options. I travel 15 mins to get here and it’s well worth it!

Went to Zio’s for the first time last week, I love it will definitely be coming back. Paid $ 45 for Gel Mani & Pedi. Pedi was the best part of it all. Very clean place & my one week old manicure still looks good no cracks or chips

they give you the option of having three different types of pedicure: green tea, lemon and lavender. This included a foot soak, a generous foot scrub and a moisturizing mini footmassage. I really enjoyed it plus like all the reviewers said — it is super sanitary. I def enjoyed the pedi more than the mani.
This place is cozy and cute and the best part is I wasn’t rushed. They didn’t overbook and actually refused a few clients because they were busy/​closing.
For the manicure, they put on anti aging keratin gloves + loved my nail shape.
PLUS $ 25 M-​F mani/​pedi if you pay cash. If you pay card it is $ 30.

I used to live in the area and came home to visit for the week. I haven’t been to a salon in a while around here so decided to check Unilocal.ZIO had great reviews so I wanted to check it out I made an appointment for a gel mani and pedi (which was $ 45). They had three different kinds of pedis which is cool I got the moisturizing one. I also really appreciate their sanitation they actually take their equipment out of a sealed sterilized bag each time even between your feet and hands not just the client which is really awesome because sanitizing equipment is something I really look for. The gel manicure was great and they also do designs I really like the huge collection of colors to choose from. If I was still living in the area I would always come here. Definitely worth it. Tip has to be in cash just remember that and they do not accept AMEX.

Came here for a gel full set and I thought they looked nice until they all started cracking and breaking off the day after. For $ 70 + tip I expected a lot more!!! The uv gel was way too thin and the man who did them did not know how to build up the apex of a nail correctly. I will never be returning here.

Change of staff, short massages, quick filing On pedi, the skin around my fingers wasn’t taken off. weird race questions from total strangers (new staff) asking what was my boyfriends ethnicy which if it was one of my regular girls I wouldn’t care but I literally just met these two ladies. will not be coming back.

I had sent a message previous to coming since the reviews were so great! I wanted to know if they have LED light for gel and the bases that do not wreck your nails. I got a great email back from Jenni (I think spelling) saying yes with the prices which are great compared to other places! Finally got a chance to come in and see for myself! They are so nice here and want you to be happy! Jenni also explained their sanitation which another review mentions and is still the same. It was a great atmosphere, easy listening music and food network on the tv! I’m pretty picky when it comes to where I go and I will definitely return. The gentleman who did my gel mani (I didn’t get his name) did an amazing job, made sure that the tips of my nails had gel on it too. The woman for my pedi was so gentle and awesome!
Hello again! So a month ago I got another gel mani from the people here. I just took it off! If I hadn’t cut them and then it was bothering me they would still be in awesome shape! Of course lifting occurred but not until after 3 weeks! They did an amazing job and I love it! Thank you for the best customer happiness!

I’ve been coming to this nail salon for two months because it’s close to work and can’t go anywhere else now! I usually get the gel mani and pedi special for $ 45. I’ve been to places that damaged my nails when doing the gel, but this place is so gentle that my nails don’t become brittle even after doing the gels. The color selection is extensive too. The salon is really clean and the technicians are very friendly!
If you are looking for a great gel manicure and pedicure then you need to check this gem out! Oh and one of the better salons that do good French manicures. The lines come out really even and they make it as thick or thin as you like it.

My best friend introduced me to this place and I don’t really go to a Korean owned nail salon because they make people feel uncomfortable the staff was very friendly and they did my gel manicure so perfect just the way I wanted it! I’ll be doing my gel manis there from now on!

After a bad experience at another nail place, I was hesitant on trying a new spot w a friend (who hasn’t been here before either). She made an appt over the phone. We were seen right away. They cut my cuticles w/​out it hurting + they did a superb job w my gel manicure ($ 30) — it hasn’t chipped in a month! Safe to say I’ve found my new mani/​pedi spot :)

The staff is very nice, I come every two weeks or so to get a gel manicure. They always help me to pick a color because I am so indecisive and are very attentive. They take everything into consideration when picking a color for example, skin tone, the time of year etc. They also have 3 options for pedicure: lavender, green tea and citrus. Definitely worth a shot.
After going other places due to very good specials, i miss this place and come back to give it 5 starts. This place is amazing especially if the gentleman that works there does your gel manicure. Zio nails is very sanitary, the staff is very friendly and they do a great job!

My first time visiting Zio Nails & Spa and it won’t be my last. The gentleman who did my mani/​pedi was courteous, efficient and polite. My nails and feet haven’t looked this good in a long time. They polish the «entire» nail. Sidenote: I have a pet peeve with manicurists who leave a small space at the base of the nail. They call it being neat, but I hate it. The place is clean and everyone is friendly. Tip: Bring cash, it isn’t a cash only
establishment but you will receive a discount if you pay with cash. I will definitely be back.

Ive been getting my eyelash extensions and nails done here for about five months now, and have not had one bad experience yet! I found Zio Nails through Unilocal,and am so glad I did.
Ive tried a few places in Pal park and Englewood for my lashes. There were a few places that were good, but at Zio my real lashes never come out, which is why I only come here now. I think its the products that they use, but Im really glad there’s no damage.
They are really good at nails too. My gel nails always last me two weeks, and so do my pedicures. One thing I love is that the colors are always organized by shade throughout the day. Im the type to only pick one color 365days a year so I get a lot of color help from the owner. She is such a sweetheart too!
I try to avoid Friday and Saturdays because they are always busy even in the mornings :(
