Tune Town did its best given a fairly remote suburban location, and was one of the only places in the area to pick up on catalog titles or browse a used record bin. It also had a pretty friendly, comfortable atmosphere… a good place to kill an hour or two.
Unfortunately, Tune Town closed in early 2008 due to the downtrend in independent record stores in general. A lot of their stock is popping up at CD Spins locations (who are also sort of locked in a downward spiral). Anyone in the area will have to head up to the Salem Newbury Comics or Bull Moose Music to find a decent record store now. Sad.
