Cold Stone Creamery

I mean, cummon. It’s Cold Stone. There is nothing bad about Cold Stone. Literally, lay on it on a hot summer day, or just run your fingers along it on a cold winter night. But all kidding aside, there is literally nothing bad about Cold Stone that I can think of. They are the right distance from me, therefore I am not there everyday. They have delicious ice cream. So creamy, so sweet, yet not overly so. My order is the Berry BErry BERRY Good. I mean like berries and sweet cream — what could go wrong.
This one doesn’t have a tip jar where they sing and stuff. Or is that just in Korea? Well in Korea, if you tip them they all sorta stop what they’re doing and start singing and dancing. It’s kinda funny, especially if one of them is your friend. I mean it slows down service, but whatever.
The people who work here are nice, but not overly friendly. Doesn’t seem super happy to be there but that’s probably because they don’t sample their own product much. Sample it! You’ll be as happy as me. And all of us who patronize your business.
(I have a problem with that word. Not like looking down on it but being a patron — there needs to be a different word for one of the two.)
Anyways!

The people who work here are very nice and the ice cream is delicious, of course. I like to pop by when shopping or just on a whim while tooling around Texarkana. The best thing about this location is that they don’t skimp on the mix-​ins. They dole them out well and do a good job making sure they’re distributed throughout the ice cream.

For some reason, I am a big fan of Cold Stone despite the unhealthiness about it. I think it’s just the way they make their ice cream or the delicious flavors that they have. I am a big fan of the Apple Pie A La Cold Stone. This has a vanilla based ice cream mixed in with apples, cinammon, Graham Cracker pie crust and caramel. It pretty much tastes like apple pie a la mode. Cold Stone ice cream is different than regular ice cream and is a little more gooey but that does not change how awesome it is if not better.
I am also a big fan of the Cheesecake Fantasy which has a cheesecake base mixed with Graham cracker pie crust, blueberries and strawberries.
I usually get the smallest size because the ice cream is just gigantic and anything bigger is nearly impossible for me to finish.
I’ve never tried their smoothies but they are actually low calories since they use Splenda. This Cold Stone is pretty good and if you go in the late afternoon, it is pretty packed.
