There’s typically always something that can be improved on, some little nit picky thing is Unilocalers can find wrong with a meal. I tried, I really did. This place just did everything perfectly. It was my first time dining at any Longhorn Steakhouse; I’m from Mckinney. I live and die by Texas Roadhouse. My first impression of this place was«Why would I pay a few bucks more for steaks I can get at TR?» Here’s why: It’s freaking peaceful here. No loud music or annoying young server. Our waitress, Kendra I think, was maybe in her late 50s and so sweet. Never once did our sweet teas run out. The bread was served warm; we signed up at the table online for a free app and were able to redeem it right then! We decided to try the calamari which is tossed in this heavenly sweet and spicy sauce. There wasn’t any left lol! Even my picky kids loved it. My house salad with blue cheese was a pretty standard steakhouse salad, fresh and delicious. The real winner here is the filet; served as requested medium rare, it had the perfect seasoning and that beautiful lobster hollandaise was so perfect. You know how easy it is to overcook lobster? Not here. Perfectly sweet and juicy and melt in your mouth perfection is all I experienced. My Manchild’s sirloin was so good I looked up and it was gone. One of the best steaks he’s ever had he says, and that man has eaten steak all over. My picky eater children loved the grilled tenders and Mac n cheese offerings, and I appreciated the fresh fruit offering as a side for them. Strawberries, apples and oranges. Service was amazing, and it matched the food. Although we were just traveling through(went to Crater of Diamonds in Murphreesboro) I’m glad I finally got to see what makes Longhorn so much better!

I love this place. We stop each year on our annual road trip. Sandwiches are fresh, music not too loud and portions are a good size. Recommend to start with the Texas Tonion — tasty and large enough to share.

Place was very dirty, was soda or something sticky spilled near the front door I told someone about even though been sitting there all day, when we left 1 hour later it was still on the floor. Waitress was good, but had to send my plate back twice. Bathrooms were filthy, if your in the are id go somewhere else and spend your money.

Terrible experience at Texarkana Longhorn Steakhouse. Ange’s well done steak was literally raw. Blood gushing out. My medium well was bad also. Sent them back, been 15 minutes and counting and still no steak. Now my baked potato is cold. Terrible! Ok, the manager brought all new meals. Now it is done right. I have them a four now.

Great sweet potatoes. I give it 4 stars because I would like it to have a few more pasta options. The only pasta option is swimming in cheese — a nice and light marinara sauce would be a great alternative. They also have Risotto but I understand is made with cream and they are always out of it so I don’t get a chance to see if they can modify to cook without cream. I know this is not the location to target to vegans, but I’m still grateful for the few options they have at a steak house.

After months and months of seeing their juicy steaks commercial, we finally spotted this place on a return trip home. So, it wasn’t an enigma after all… We went during lunch on a Sunday. The place seemed new, fairly clean and surprisingly empty. We ordered the Porterhouse for two and added an additional lobster tail … It was huge, husband was able to finish most 32 oz. of it for us. The steak was cooked well, but the star of the show was the steak sauce served table side with a hot coal and chili garlic sauce. It was delicious! I asked for the recipe but their lips were sealed on this one. My lobster tail was mushy and soft sink sent it back. They were nice enough to remove this from our tab which was cool. Overall, it was a good experience. The service was good and folks were very accommodating. Rumor has it they will be opening in the DFW area soon.

Came here for lunch about 1:45pm after all of the lunch crowd was gone and it still took over 30 min to get our food. This is ridiculous. I just remember why I never come to this place. Why the heck would it take that long to get food when there is a total of 5 tables being waited on. Stay away!!!

Beware… First all, the name of this place Longhorn Steakhouse is deceiving! You think of big thick juicy steaks with all the trimmings … It’s far from that! More like a New York style Bistro which serves tiny little round steaks with toppings of Apple cider glaze. There was not one thing on the menu that was appealing or Texas style! Very Disappointed! Second of all we went ahead and placed our order, only 2 other couples in the place at 2pm on a Friday afternoon… It took 35 minutes for our food to come out and it was COLD!!! It’s my fault I chose a bad restaurant but it’s the cooks, server and Managements fault that I won’t go back !!! Your better off to go where the good foods at because you won’t find it here!

This Longhorn save my bacon after another restaurant in town let us down on my husbands 50th birthday party. I had to change locations for the birthday party at the last minute at 7pm on a friday night. We had 20 people and the Longhorn staff had us seated in 30 minutes. The wait staff was great, and the food was delicious. Thanks so much for helping me save the day on a very important day for my husband!

Waited hour and half before salad was served. After asking about our meals we were told it would be about 10 more minutes because of a computer glich. Interesting that the four tables that were seated after us and served before us had no issues… too bad you have to select a star for the review to be accepted

Was greeted with an authentic smile, sat at the bar because it was eye catching, professional bartenders were polite and on time, food was remarkable and the presentation outstanding, great place for a romantic data and dinner… Recommend this place! Check it out in Texarkana!

We had the Kansas steak with sweet potato and grilled corn. It was tender and well cooked. The service was the right balance between attention and bugging us to irritation. Very enjoyable and relaxing meal.

Great lunch. Any salad with seven pepper sirloin is good. Homemade potato chips were good too. Service is always good. Good place to have a business lunch.

Not worth the prices they’re charging imho. Would probably rank them below Salt Grass and TX Land/Cattle in the mid-budget steakhouse category.

I went to the Long Horn with my parents, and they both had steaks. They described them as being good, so take that as you will. I, however, ordered the autumn brie salad. Not sure what salad I actually received, however it featured The Worst Bacon Ever. I lied. I’ve had equally bad bacon before, and that bacon was literally whatever bacon bits are, only not shredded bacon bits. This bacon however was equally bad: paper-thin, very greasy, snapped under one’s teeth, aftertaste of cleaning agents. Did taste testers actually *like* this bacon? Otherwise, it was a boring salad. Some spinach. Some cranberries. Some oranges. Had it elsewhere, had it here.

The service was nothing to write home about. Their definition of a porterhouse steak is way off. The filet side of the steak I received was about the size of an original size buttermilk biscuit. Granted the steak was cooked correctly. I asked for medium-well and that was perfect. However, if I am paying 24 dollars for a porterhouse steak it better be a porterhouse. So I sent it back. The second steak was beautiful. It was what a true porterhouse should be. Cooked perfectly. Until… I started eating it and it was covered in salt. I don’t know about the rest of the world but when I buy a steak I don’t want a whole salt shaker dumped on it. My husband and I had never been to this steakhouse before so we had high expectations going in. We were greatly disappointed and we have decided that next time we go out it will definately not be the Longhorn here.

RATEDONTHEBELLCURVE. You know how McDonalds restaurants are essentially the same? You can count on Longhorn to be essentially different. I’m not sure I have ever eaten at a chain where the difference between chefs or stores is so glaringly different. On Friday we had one of the very best meals we have ever eaten in a restaurant of any kind. It was five stars from the strawberry and house salads to the steak and chicken entrees and on to dessert. Everything was incredibly good to include the very best ribeye I have ever had. So, we went back the next night. The salads were under-dressed and placed on the plate in a design of sorts, the chicken had too much cheese, the ribeye was overdone and the fries were cold. I ordered a new steak. It was properly done but with way too much seasoning and enough butter that pooled on the steak. I think it was butter. It was also tough, very tough. The manager removed the steak from our bill, but I didn’t go there for a free steak. So, all-in-all, it rated a five star on one night and a one-star on another for an average of three stars. The next time I go I’ll call ahead and ask if manager Timothy is there. If he is we’ll go.
