Love their chicken spg. .it us amazing. and the pies are fresh and good. .I love the lunch feel and atmosphere. .While I’m ordering (and paying) hubby grabs a table. sometimes it’s a long one where u get to meet and talk to others. They have a drive thru but suggest calling ahead. Everyday is a special and variety and all are good. They do catering and do it well. it’s divey and definitely has a small town feel but that’s what makes it great because everyone is treated like family!

Unilocal reviews led us to the Lunch Box on fried chicken day. When you enter the building, send someone to the counter to order and send everyone else to grab seats. The clientele is mostly people on lunch breaks and I kind of felt guilty for taking a table. I ordered the chicken spaghetti and my lunch companion ordered the fried chicken. I was given cups for our drinks that I filled on the way to the table. In no time, someone from the kitchen brought our food to the table. They serve on foam plates with plastic utensils. My chicken spaghetti portion was huge. The seasoned green beans were delicious. I couldn’t eat all of the spaghetti, but I had to try the desserts. I LOVE the coconut cream pie. We will stop at the Lunch Box again.

Pretty good. I had the special today which was chicken spaghetti, mashed potato and gravy, green beans and a salad. Just that will run you $ 5.99. Make it an even $ 8 and you get a drink and homemade desert. Everything was really good. Get there early though because they get really crowded at lunch.

Lunch Box is a family-​style restaurant. It’s drive-​thru or dine-​in.
The lunch specials include drink and dessert. The desserts appear to be homemade.
The pork cutlet sandwich is huge and freshly fried. The fried chicken is fresh and crispy. The beef tips as rice are excellent. The mini-​chef salad is huge with lots of meats. The Friday catfish is the best I’ve had in town.
