Best burger, best price and best customer service ever!

Yummy burgers and fries. Very nice people working the place. Food is a good value for what you pay. Very good food.

This small local chain only has this one location left as far as I know. I used to visit Bases back in high school when they had a location in League City. That location has long since closed though. The Texas City location is similar with burgers and other sandwiches, combos and even hot dogs that are priced a bit higher than they were 20 yrs ago. They also offer fish, chicken, bbq and even chicken fried steak sandwiches if you’re feeling brave. The most unusual items on their menu are the fried green beans, snow cones and even corn dogs.
Most come for the burgers, which are «homemade» according to their motto and website but they sure don’t taste or look like any homemade burger you would make at home.
Bases is still a valid burger option if you’re tired of the usual fast food chains. To me and a few other Unilocalers, these burgers are simply pre-​formed frozen patties so don’t go expecting something gourmet. The closest hint of a premium topping at Bases are the red onions on all the burgers. Drive-​thru or walk-​up window only.

The service was fast and food was warm. I ordered 10 burgers and they had everyone’s order wrong we ordered bacon cheeseburgers but got plain burgers.

first time ever eating here! it was great. i got the double quarter pounder burger and added jalapeño. oh em geeeeeeee! it was so mouthwatering. i am pretty sure i inhaled the heck out of that burger. only issue i have (with most local burger joints) is the fact that they put all of their veggies on the bottom of the burger making the bread super soggy! my burger was falling apart, lol. but that will not stray me from eating here again. oh, and the service was impeccable. im certain that even if i didn’t like the burger i would still give this place five stars, due to the lovely lady behind the window.

Very good burgers. All the burgers are names after baseball theme. For a good jucie burger choice bases burgers.

Frozen preformed patty. Nothing special like other reviews had me believe. Best part was the fries.

Based on the swirly writing on the sign, I first thought the name of this places was «Babes». I thought that was a pretty cute name, but then I realized its actually Bases, which made the whole «Home Run Special» make a lot more sense.
It’s drive thru or walk up only– my husband and I both got the «Home Run Special» w/​cheese. Wow! That’s how fast food is supposed to taste! Just because I have to eat quickly on the run, doesn’t mean I don’t care about how it tastes. This burger tasted homemade– it came w/​mustard, mayo, LTP on a sesame seed bun. The first bite sent juice streaming down my hand– if you eat this while driving, beware and protect your clothing! I ate every bite of it and it was probably one of the best fast food burgers I’ve had. Plus I like supporting the non-​chain local businesses that still work hard to produce great food.

Drive through only. Its a great burger. very original fast food style burger. Frys are great too. I eat one every time im in Texas City. (thats not to often)

Love their burgers. When I want some fast lunch but need good taste, this is the place!

Great place to take the kids afterschool for a burger. Fresh lettuce and onions, plus a grilled bun make this a perfect burger.

get the home run or the blt very good. love the fries. good blt also

This little drive thru burger joint is not bad if you need to eat on the run. It is something different if you want fast food but not one of the huge chain restaurants.
