We spent Memorial Day weekend at Fort Wilkins — West campground. Very nice, wooded campsites with access to Lake Fanny Hooe… modern bathrooms(clean)…access to the historic fort(self-guided tours). This park has easy access to town via gravel bike trail(½ mile or so). I highly recommend this location over the Lake Fanny Hooe resort(located in town). Fort Wilkins is lovely and the people are friendly.
