I heard about this place when I first moved to the area from a waitress who had really nice nails. The store itself might not seem ‘hip’, etc but Mindi does an amazing job. I threw down 50 – 60 dollars at another place in Frisco to get acrylic nails and was horribly disappointed. I am a ridiculously bad nail biter — and also have hardly any free time for myself. I get acrylic nails(cheaper than solar, and once I stop nail biting they grow REALLY fast and acrylic is more economical for me). I have seen Mindi off and on for the better of 4 years and she always does exactly what I need. The acrylic nails are thin and look natural(AND stay put! even with having barely any nail to hold on to sometimes) and she cuts them short and shapes them perfectly for my desk job typing all day. Acrylic + gel nail polish gets me through 2 weeks and she does some great designs too! I definitely recommend this place if you have stubborn nails. Both Mindi and her husband David are amazing with acrylic and solar nails.

The people who work here are REALLY nice people and I only went once, but definitely will never go back. Worst manicure I have ever received: 1. Crooked nails 2. Uneven painting 3. Smudged immediately An older(grandmother aged) woman did my nails and was so adorable, but definitely would not recommend her as a cosmetologist. She was so sweet that I couldn’t bare to tell her I didn’t like them and I even tipped her 5. I need to grow a pair and speak up! Maybe another person is better, but I will not risk it by trying it again.

This was my second time here and I brought my little girl with me as she loves to have her nails and toes painted like her mommy. David was amazing with my fill and I will always go to him from now on. My nails really look natural and beautiful. The reason I only gave 3 stars this time was because I had a different pedicure experience during this visit. Juan(or WAN) wasn’t working today so another girl did my pedicure. This lady was very nice and took her time rubbing and massaging my feet and legs but did not pay attention to detail regarding the polish on my toes. It is already starting to peel off on two toes and I’ve not done anything out of the ordninary. When I looked carefully at my polished toes I could tell there were areas around the corners of each nail that were much darker, like the polish was old or applied carelessly. I’m definitely calling tomorrow to see if I can have my toes repolished. And I’m definitely only having WAN do my pedi’s from now on. The staff is extremely friendly and I really do enjoy being there. One important factor: The owner desperately needs to makeover the entire salon. It’s extremely bland, dull and there are too many scenes going on in there. Color would look vibrantly nice and please, if you’re going to have things for sale in the salon, put them at eye level or slightly below and well organized. Trust me, a little goes a long way!

A girlfriend of mine is a regular here. When she told me Shellac Mani is only $ 28, I had to come. Everyone was super nice and they weren’t speaking in another language while working on me, which is a huge plus. I hate when the employees talk and laugh in another language. It’s really uncomfortable. Anyhow, as far as the manicure itself, i was a bit disappointed. I had a shellac french mani and the white part bleed over to the clear coating on all the nails but 2. She didn’t file my nails evenly and 2 of my figers chipped the next day. Becuase we went right before they started lunch I thought well maybe they were hungry and anxious to be done with me so I went again 3 weeks later. This time I got a Shellac French mani pedi. I was charged $ 70. I still have the same issue, bleeding of the whire onto the clear and my nails are of uneven legnth. So bad my boyfriend even noticed:( The pedi looks good, instead of white I chose pink. However the pink line doesn’t go all the way across. I’m a pretty tough cookie when it comes to nix & cuts but this pedicurist hurt me a couple of times, so not for the faint of heart. I’ll check back in in a couple of weeks to see how they help up. I don’t think I will be going back to this place though. Still on the hunt for the perfect French Shellac. Wish me luck!!!

I have to say, after coming here my first time and being sorely dissopointed in the service and quality, my second visit was quite nice! I got acrylic toe nails(just to see how long it would last) and my total leaving was only 30 $! I couldn’t believe it! The person kept trying to tell me I didn’t need them, and shed just do a pedi. Which was nice because even though she would have lost money she was still being nice. She did a fantastic job with them! The only thing was she was a little rough, and dropped the little grinder on my foot once, but it was alright! Anyways, will put her name up when I get another one! Oh, I got my nails done with them a few months ago, and had David, he’s a great guy, but he kept cutting my skin and he hurts!
