Chicken Express

My 1^st time going to chicken express and the last time I will go. I usually go to cains for my chicken tenders but my wife told me that this place was pretty good and unfortunately she was wrong. .the food had no taste what so ever.. The gravy was really bland. and the fries almost made me go into a diabetic shock with all that salt.. The only good thing about this place was the biscuit. my wife said that the one on hebron in Carrollton is better and for me not to go back to this location.. 2 stars for the biscuit

I went through the drive thru. Got a 25 piece family pack, got home, the 25 pieces were by far the smallest I’ve ever seen and they forgot one of my sides. I called and talked to the manager, who was very apologetic and fixed my order the next time I went in.
That is how you are supposed to treat your customers, like you care!

Worst customer service plus I had to wait 15 minutes for eight piece chicken. This will be the first and last time I come here.

One of the worst fast food experiences. I went there on my lunch break (from Nebraska Furniture Mart) thinking i would get fast service. I stood in front of the counter for 15 minutes and no one ever asked to take my order (yet there were at least 6 people working at the time). There was only one other person in the whole restaurant besides me. I gave up and decided to go somewhere else. In the future i will avoid this location, and tell everyone else at NFM likewise.

The drive thru did take a little while but I was given hot, delicious food! Maybe they’ve gotten better since the previous comments.

Came here for lunch… Craving strips so I figured I’d get my fix. Went thru the drive-​thru, drove back to work and bam, pink chicken. Opened the other strips, same pink insides. Opened my windows to make sure I wasnt going crazy, nope! Same thing!
After my discovery, I called the manager to advise. He told me its «normal» and they get calls everyday about it. Hmmm.
Let’s just say I had to go back out to get food and don’t think I’ll be visiting Chicken Express, «home of the pink chicken strips» again!

I like the chicken but it’s really greasy. I like how they have a lot of side options. I wish the food was less greasy.

several visits for lunch on the weekend. best bargain is the #1;four pieces of chicken with the corn nuggets.

We had two simple orders. Chicken strips with french fries and chicken strips with coleslaw. Everything was cold. They had to re-​cook everything. Took over an hour to get that simple meal. I doubt that will be back here.

Ate here for the first time last night. Chicken was extra greasy, not in the good way. Fries seem to have been double fried-​soggy extra salty. The customer service was great, just wish we could of said the same about the food. Disappointed since we had been looking forward to eating here.

Well went to get everyone lunch and they had no food ready to go. 15 minutes later I got my food an took it home to find it cold, missing items and covered in grease. Called to tell the manager an she called me a liar stating they have excellent food an I must not be looking at it right. That’s what happens when you hire a place full of Tweens who don’t care. Never go to this location I’ll drive to fresco where at least I get a smile and a thank you.

Don’t go here! Food is terrible never have anything ready to order you have to wait like its some fancy restaurant where you need to sit down and wait. Def don’t go on your lunch break you will have to wait and change your order because something will not be ready. They advertise Mac and cheese but get ready you have to wait like you made it yourself and then when you eat it your like really this is nasty!

Had me a cravin’ for mashed potatoes and gravy today and Chicken Express was the closest place.
I don’t know about the one-​star reviewer, but I don’t order cheese sticks and marinara at a fried chicken place. I order fried chicken. And gravy. And mashed potatoes.
They obliged and everything was nice and hot and tasty. Lotta pepper flavor in the gravy and fried chicken (which was crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside). I ordered extra gravy, but didn’t know they already give you some with every chicken tender order (and it’s like three times the size of the gravy at a place like DQ). Plus, they give you a large soda with every meal and have Diet Dr. Pepper. Win-​win!
Anyway, the guy who took my drive-​thru order was nice and even walked outside to take my payment and delivered my meal because the person in front of me had a huge order or something and was taking forever.
Try ‘em out!

Great food but its ran by a bunch of teenagers who are unprofessional while you are at the drive thru window.

Great place for chicken and southern sides. The rolls and tea are to die for! Every time I visit here the employees are super friendly and go out of their way to make your visit special. On one visit they cooked up fresh fries for me (without me having to ask) because «no one likes soggy fries!» Definitely worth stopping by!

First time at this location. Chicken tasted cold, tough, and chewy. My side was cheese sticks. They tasted ok. They only give you two. I expected atleast 3 or 4. The marinara sauce tasted like ketchup, and sugar. I have been eating chicken express for years and never has it ever tasted nasty. I will never return to this location again .I visited this location on 11/​25/​2012 @ 7:00 pm.

The food was very good but the price is crazy. To feed a family of 3 I spent over 30 dollars. The chicken was compairably priced but the side choices are way over priced. I can go to Kroger and feed my famly for half the price. Granted CE is better quality but in today’s economy paying that much will notkeep people coming back. One trip was enough for me. For the price they charge I could take my family to the Best Buffet or Golden Corral.
