I usually love Dairy Queen, but this location consistently served cold food. It was either cold or old. I tried 3 times to eat here with the same results each time.

The wife and I both ordered the chicken strip basket. The strips were hammered, the driest I have ever had, the fries were under cooked by at least a minute, so they were soggy, the toast was room temperature, the jalapeño gravy was aweful. The grease in it tasted completely burned. The regular cream gravy was super watery. At least the water I ordered was OK.

Worse Dairy Queen that I’ve been to. I used to love dq chicken strip baskets, the strip is mostly batter now. This location took it down another notch by serving old and stale strips, I had to throw it away

Love DQ! This is just one of the places that reminds me of when I was a kid! The service is still just as friendly as it was when I remember it as a child. The food was always great, even though growing up, I only ordered the steak fingers! Oh and can’t forget the soft serve! The best! When ordering their signiture«Blizzard» It still freaks me out when they turn it upside down just before that hand it over to you! Now with kiddos of my own, we share the memories of dining at DQ when we can. I enjoy dining and sharing the memories of companies that have a rich deep history and DQ has just that! The phenomenal story began with the 10-cent sale of a then unnamed product on August 4, 1938, in Kankakee, Illinois. A father and son partnership in Green River, Illinois, had been experimenting with a soft frozen dairy product for some time. They contacted Sherb Noble, a good friend and customer, who agreed to run the«all you can eat» trial sale at his walk-in ice cream store. Within two hours, he dished out more than 1,600 servings of the new dessert. Back then, food franchising was all but unheard of, but the new product’s potential made it a natural for such a system. When the United States entered World War II in December 1941, there were fewer than 10 Dairy Queen® stores. However, shortly after the war, the system took off at a pace virtually unrivaled before or since. With only 100 stores in 1947, it grew to 1,446 in 1950 and then to 2,600 in 1955. Today, the DQ® system is one of the largest fast food systems in the world, with more than 6,000 restaurants in the United States, Canada and 18 other countries.

Usually this is place is the best DQ out of all of them including Frisco and Little Elm. But not tonight. Fries were pre-cooked and cold. Steak fingers looked and tasted like they were left over from lunch. Very disappointed.

Once in a blue moon, I crave something sweet. I like that this DQ has a drive thru so no one has to see my walk of shame after indulging in a sweet treat. I have never eaten their meals and was surprised they have so many meal offerings. I just order a small sundae with nuts. The drive thru was fast, my order was correct and the drive thru attendance was very nice. It’s been years since I have been to a DQ, the drive thru menu just wasn’t very easy to read. There are so many options but it all gets cluttered with their meal combos.

This is probably one of the worse Dairy Queen’s I’ve bee been too. Nachos looked like they took two slices of American cheese and microwaved it on chips. Also ordered a crispy chicken sandwich which was suppose to consist of a chicken filet, lettuce, tomato and mayo… Got two gross chicken strips and 5 pickles… Then they forgot my fries! I will never go back to this, not sure if it’s the staff or just the whole chain. Either way, not even if I’m starving will I return here.

Not once in my life have I had an employee tell me they don’t have chocolate ice cream. I know DQ doesn’t have chocolate ice cream. But when a customer asks for chocolate ice cream in a blizzard, is it really that difficult to add some extra chocolate sauce? Apparently it is at this Dairy Queen because even though I asked them to add extra chocolate, they didn’t. Not going back here again.

Took my 7 year old for blizzards. They got the sizes mixed up. Not a big deal to me but it was to my 7 year old. Topping were light epically since I paid .39 more for extra topping. I am not sure who is selecting their music but we just finished listening to a song that had the word sh@t in it several times. About 10 kids in here listening to music that has curse words… not cool.

My favorite at most dairy queens is the piña colada Julius, but this Dairy Queen just did not make it right. It didn’t have much flavor, no pineapple chunks and it was really watered down. I won’t go here again for my julius’s.

Reasons for three stars 1. I ordered the hunger buster burger and when I got home it was not hot(I live five minutes away from here). 2. I was still hungry after I had it. 3. The guy in the drive thru didn’t flip blizzard. If they don’t flip it the blizzard is free. I didn’t say anything because I don’t want to make a big deal out of it I would still come back here because the blizzards are really good and they have huge cones.

My brothers and I went through the drive thru for three Oreo Blizzard Waffle Cone. There was only one other car in front of us, but the wait was ridiculously long. The drive thru cashier was nice. The cones that came out weren’t nice. It looked disappointing and nothing like what I thought I ordered. It was half filled and the ice cream looked like it was sitting out for a while before getting to us. I’m pretty upset I paid $ 9.28 for three pathetic looking waffle cones.

Just went through the drive through here and my Texas toast has no butter on it and it’s not toasted. I also got s Georgia mud fudge and the ice cream was still vanilla which means there wasn’t fudge put in it. The fries and chicken strips are ok. This location has been disappointing in the past as well. This sucks cause I love Dairy Queen and this is right by my apartment. Why can’t people just make the food like its suppose to be made?

Exactly as I remember DQ being. Other Unilocalers mentioned rude service but I received the exact opposite. Staff was friendly and brought my food out and asked if I needed anything else. I ordered the popcorn chicken and a piña colada orange julius. Both were delicious. Definitely check out this location if you’re looking to scratch your DQ itch.

Fastest Dairy Queen ever! Our family Loves dairy queen and I have felt even after their atmosphere change and re decorating that all the ones I had visited were still a bit lack luster to say the least. But! not when I walked in to this brand new establishment in the colony. The atmosphere was electric! — every worker had a smile on their face and everyone was happy and friendly and it was great! I was a bit on the fence about what to get for myself and finally decided on the Jalitos Ranch hunger buster! It was amazing the Jalitos were crispy and the ranch was delicious now as amazd as I was with the burger what really was the icing on the cake was the fact that the food was ready before we had fully sat down at our table. It was like a darn magic trick, the quickness of the food and the fact that everything was hot and everything was fresh and it tasted good and it was fast and everyone was happy about it! Anyway — Great food, better service! I will always recommend this location and I will travel out of my way to make sure I go to this one instead of the 1 a mile from my house!

Food was A-OK — stomach hurt afterwords — maybe too much grease? They asked us if we want our deserts later — we said yes — after our lunch they totally forgot about it — which is perfectly fine — we understand — but instead of making new milkshake they gave us one that was pre-made from the fridge. Is this normal? I’m not sure because this is only second time visiting any Dairy Queens. Will I be back? Maybe not — don’t want to upset my stomach again and have watery milkshake with whip cream.

DQ is one of THEE best places for ice cream! I usually get their seasonal flavors and if I’m not feeling those, I get my default Reeses blizzard. Their Smores blizzard during the summer is SOOOGOOD! Right now, they have the pumpkin pie blizzard which is To.Die.For. It’s the best ever. I’m craving it right now actually! UGH! Soooo delish!

Fairly new DQ in The Colony. Convenient location and good customer service. It’s clean and nice. The drive-thru is kind of weird. You have to basically go through Scholotzky’s drive thu to come around to DQ’s and the drive-thru is usually crowded. I suggest parking and going in

I judge Dairy Queens mostly on their Blizzard game. This location stepped it up! They put blizzards in waffle cones! Do they all do that? I’ve never seen it. There’s nothing better than a yummy, gooey blizzard than a yummy, gooey blizzard stuffed lovingly inside of a sugary waffle cone. The best part is getting to the bottom and seeing the now almost soggy yet still crunchy cone has mountains of cookie dough packed in. I ordered this large cone for about $ 2.29! I also got onion rings which came out piping hot! I loved this combo. Also, this DQ is clean, shiny, and new(I think). It’s a beut!

«Techno music while driving down the tollway slightly after lunch* Self #1: „Oh, what is that I spy out of the corner of my eye? Is the a Dairy Queen? The very place I used to work as a teenager?“ Self #2: „Why yes, yes it is.“ Self #1: „I wonder if their steak finger baskets and gravy are as good as the used to be when I was working there. I used to love those things.“ Self #2: „Yes, but only because you were young, playing basketball every day and didn’t notice the ramifications of eating mass quantities of fat and carbs.“ Self #1: „True, but right now I’m having a huge craving for something fried that I can dip in gravy.“ Self #2: „Resist it. You’ll regret it. It’s probably more expensive and unhealthy than you remember.“ Self #1: „Ehhhh, I don’t care. I’m gonna go for it.“ *Cuts off a person on the tollway and pulls into a DQ parking space because I need to go to the bathroom and know they take a while to complete their orders because they make it „fresh“ every time.* Cashier: „Hi!
