Goody Goody Liquor

Had a variety of everything. I have been hearing so much about Deep Eddys Vodka and shall I say these guys had every flavor. I wanted a bottle of Ace of Spades and guess what, they had one locked up in the office for me to take home.

This store is huge! It’s like the Walmart Neighborhood Market for beer, wine and spirits. They have all the big brands and the smaller batch liquors as well. Samplings occur on weekends and staff is pretty knowledgeable if you need help. It can get pretty crowded. The only thing I would change is the way the store is organized. The separate the Irish and Canadian whiskeys from the rest and this is a little confusing if you don’t know the origin of your drink. Not the cheapest but the best selection.

I give them 3 stars due to there prices and reward system. As far as the staff I would give them 3 stars as well, except for one employee. I go there pretty regularly and I’ve never seen her smile, be helpful, be approachable or nice. I’m not sure what her name is but she has blonde hair with glasses. That’s is all. Drink something.

Giving them another 2 stars due to the Regional Manager contacting me and handling the situation well. (No monetary or reward offered, just excellent handling of the situation and sincere apology). Because of this I may consider giving Goody Goody another chance in the future. Let’s hope their employees don’t let their personal problems affect their ability to provide good customer service again.

This is the place I generally go to get my stuff, but now we have the new place Total Wine and SPECS in Plano both having great prices and nearby to where you might live.
Watch out for Fossil Creek, I hear they are too expensive. Never been there to check it out.

Conveniently located off of 121 between Main and Paige They have a wide range of just about anything and everything. Cigars too. The last couple of times I dropped in they were sampling liquor or some sort of cordial. That’s always a nice touch if you ask me to be greeted with a refreshment while browsing or shall I say tipsy while you load up your shopping carts. Great prices and Brian Eason, one of the territory managers is always great to work with

Goody Goody is an adult candy store.
Only in Texas could I make such a liquor store find. I was in Dallas for a wedding and made a quick dash out to get supplies for the «after party» that’s how I found Goody Goody and oh my what a find. This place is like the Target of liquor stores, they have everything, yes, everything. The store is roughly the size of a football field and it was chock full of goodness. Of course they have all of the basics, but they also have specialty items like pre-​made Jello shooters and other goodies, that I don’t find in the state-​run liquor stores back in Virginia.
A tip of my hat to Goody Goody. I will rave about you to my VA friends and will definitely make a return trip the next time in the DFW!

This place is similar to a Total Wine if you are familiar. The difference is they can sell liquor. I wasn’t there for that but more just to pick up some craft beer. The beer selection was decent but not mind blowing. I sort of expected more but maybe I’m just too big of a beer nerd.
Either way this is a solid location if you’re looking for something outside of the domestics and typical beer selection, not to mention wine as well.

I kicked myself for not coming here before. The prices are good. It is a huge store with great selection. Very organize and clean. There are around 12 of them in Texas, all owned privately. This is what I’ve been told. If you are close to Goody Goody, I don’t see a reason why would go anywhere else.

I had a great Memorial Day Pool party! Thanks to Goody Goody for their great prices! I was able to stock up my bar for a lot less than I thought! Locked and loaded for the summer. My girlfriend told me about this place and it was definitely true ! Thank u !

This store is conveniently located right off 121. It’s so easy to get in and out.
Prices have always been good and the staff is friendly. What else could you want from a liqueur store?
They always have what I need.

I wish I could put no stars. The one star that’s there is for the large selection of beer and liquor. Before we even walked in, I overheard two people walking out empty handed saying this was the worst store ever. I am 26 and went in with my 30 year old boyfriend. We had two mixed drinks to purchase after rudely reviewing my bf id she made me go out to the car to get mine. Said it was some law although we’ve never experienced this before. After she stared down me and my id she finished our purchase. As she was finishing her manager came over and gave her a weird look. She threw our receipt at us after being so ride the entire time. Her manager apologized and quickly put the receipt in the bag for us. It was absolutely ridiculous and ill definitely be going to star liquor right up the road from now on.

Ugh, they lose two stars for consistently being rude and staring me down every time they ask for my ID. There’s one young girl cashier who is very nice and recognizes me, but the others act like I’m working undercover for the police or something.
Yeah, I know I look young, but do you have to make me wrestle my ID out of my wallet holder and scan it every other time? You’d think you would get to know your regular customers.
One time, one of the older guys (probably a manager), literally wouldn’t let go of my wallet when I was pulling it back after showing him my ID. He then stared me down, as usual. Good job, buddy. Maybe you can be on CSI one day.
I’d definitely be going somewhere else if the location, selection and prices weren’t so good.

I really have no complaints about this place other than my drink of choice is $ 6 cheaper at the new Specs a few minutes away.
This place is well-​stocked with nice varieties. They usually have some good deals, just not as good as what I experienced at Specs.
Also, I find it a bit strange that they keep the fifths of regular Courvosier in the back (a sales associate has to go get it for you) but the fifths of the pricier Courvosiers are on the regular shelves. They usually send the old man to get it for me and he usually comes back with the wrong thing. And I have to wait 15 more minutes for him to go back and get the right thing. Since I am a Courvosier drinker, my trips to Goody Goody tend not to be in and out like everyone else’s :-(
Other than that, this is easily the best liquor store in The Colony… but Specs is in a neighboring city, 5 minutes away :-)

Easily the best liquor store I’ve ever been in, and I’ve been in a lot. One place I’d fault them is on their selection of sambucas – they only had three to choose from. But the 75-​foot wall of champagne and the two aisles of vodka choices made that complaint fade from memory. Most of their flavored vodkas come in fifth AND handle sizes! Like nothing we have in Indiana, and only comparable to a few seen in Chicago, but the prices here blow the Chicago stores out of the water.
But seriously, closed by 10 p.m. every night? I’m hoping that’s some outdated state law and not just a business decision because, really. Really.

This is where the booze lives. Get you one!
This is the one off of 121 in the Colony. Good selections, good prices and the staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgible. This is where I usually go to buy my brew. Need I say more?

When you are extendedly staying at a hotel for like, months, and they don’t serve your type of bourbon at the bar, you have to take matters into your own hands.
Yep, got a nice bottle of bourbon — and they even sell individual glasses here! — which was awesome because there were only paper cups in my hotel room. I thought it was so interesting that they sold individual glasses… Perfect! I left satisfied and went back to my hotel.
Nice selection of everything. See for yourself.

This is my favorite liquor store chain in Dallas and I like this location a lot because they are close to or on my way to/​from several of my office locations, conveniently located right off 121. The other main reason I like GoodyGoody is because they are consistently priced lower than the variety of other liquor stores in the area.
They have a huge selection of liquors, beers and wines and the store is always clean and neat. I don’t think I’ve ever been here and not been able to find something I needed. Staff is always nice and helpful, and are ready to make suggestions if you’re at a loss for what to get!

What is not to like about Goody Goody? It’s like the Wal-​Mart of the liquor, beer, and wine world. This store is AWESOME and I’m not even that big of a drinker. When I buy alcohol, especially liquor, I make the trip to Goody Goody (either this location, or the one closer to my home in Flower Mound).
Goody Goody has an impressive selection of liquor, wine and beer. They carry products ranging from the cheapest of the cheap (in quality and price) to ultra Luxe premium varieties of alcoholic beverages. Their beer selection is great, but as good as Majestic Liquor in Flower Mound, which is pretty much the best in North Texas in my opinion.
The staff is always friendly and helpful and will answer any questions you may have. The have product tastings in store from time to time. They always seem to card me, which I like and appreciate. :-) Anyone that questions if I may be under the age of 21 is a winner in my books. They will even help you carry your booze out the the car for you if you ask. Perfect for the lazy alcoholic, or when you are making a major haul for a party.
