Didn’t hate it but didn’t love it either. Went here with a bunch of friends because there was something for all of us there but it really wasn’t all that good.

I live close by and decided to give this place a try. I’m so glad I did! They served the most delicious Monte Cristo sandwich I’ve every tasted!

Yesterday was my second time here. Food was good, as expected, but nothing amazing. The reason for only two stars: Half hour wait. My credit card was charged more than what I tipped(at the bar, not from our waitress). My pasta didn’t come with the garlic toast. One person in my party didn’t get her food until everyone else was almost done eating. The waitress didn’t have friendly social skills and made everything awkward. Just an overall poor experience.

On our way out to the Flatirons mall, to go shopping with my wife, we decided to stop for an early dinner. I have no idea why we chose Cheddars because we are normally anti-chain patrons. However, we are glad we chose to give them a shot. Our experience began with our waitress«Chelsey.» We were a bit concerned that any waitress could meet our high expectations during our current strict dietary requirements. We were pleasantly surprised with how knowledgeable she was with the entire menu, which spice combinations had sugar, which had butter etc. she was extremely polite and friendly… Like we were old friends. Because Chelsey took such great care of us, we decided to come back to Cheddars when we are able to enjoy anything on the menu. Oh! I almost forgot! The food was fantastic! My wife got the steak and shrimp and I got the blackened salmon. They were both done perfectly and extremely tasty. It was like weren’t even on a diet(whole 30) at all! We will definitely return

I have been to this location 3 times. The service is consistent not bad but not amazing but the food has never disappointed. To be fair I have only gone as a large group of 8 to 9 people for our office lunch. I get the pot pie or chicken fried chicken. This is not a restaurant to go to if you are on a diet. Great comfort food with ginormous portions. I like the décor and the restaurant is always clean.

If you want a top notch traditional meal, then Cheddars is your place. They have some of the best sandwiches(the best Monte Cristo sandwich this side of the platte). Also, there BBQ ribs fall right off the bone. Me and family love going here whenever we have something to celebrate or want a really nice dinner. Which brings me to price something’s can get a little pricey but for the most part over half the menu is very decent in price and you will get your money’s worth in food trust me. If you want good ‘ol dinner food but with a classy ambience then Cheddars is your place.

Tried this out for the first time the other night. What a great experience. Ate during the dinner rush and service was excellent. The honey croissants are a must try!

Ok place. Service is fast BUT getting your food is very, very slow! Waited almost 25 minutes to get our food. Had to send my soup back because it was lukewarm at best. The food was ok– nothing special. We sat at the bar which is pretty nice and lively although s bit loud. But it has a good vibe. The menu is ample. If you can just get your food!

So this was our second time here. We were celebrating my brothers 25th birthday. They did the best they could to accommodate our large party of about 20 – 30 ppl. A few if our party did have to sit at an additional table but was across from our main table. But let’s get to the reason you are reading this. This time I had the baby back ribs and as my wife had I informed me they once again fell off the bone. My wife enjoyed her chicken tenders and rib plate as well as my Son with his ribs and shrimp. My overall opinion is this place is pretty good the wait is still a wait on the weekends but I have yet to find d a reason to say«don’t go here» My wife and Son said 5 stars, I say 4 because of the chicken fried steak that I had previously wasn’t up to my standards

Ordered the chicken fried chicken. It was wonderful! Great service! The waiter was really friendly(but not hovering — thank goodness!) The only downside was the fact that they try to please everyone with a small variety(instead of specializing in one area of cuisine) and as a result, they don’t have a lot of vegetarian selections. So, if you go, make sure everyone in your party will eat meat items. The have a five to six selections each of steak, fish, chicken & hamburgers. We will definitely be going back!

I’m in the middle on this place. They have a ton of food to choose from and all at good prices but the quality and taste is just meh. I think it’s a good place for a quick, easy bite but nothing I would pick over anything else.

The short version: Typical chain restaurant where its looks and ambiance is much more appealing than the food they serve. The longer version: in the interest of full disclosure, I will admit that I didn’t set out to visit this restaurant. In fact, until I set foot in it, I hadn’t even heard of Cheddar’s existence. It just so happens that the restaurant my wife and I had planned on visiting(which use to be located next door to this one) has recently moved and its old location is now closed. We decided to give Cheddar’s a shot instead. The looks of the restaurant is inviting; nice mood lighting and somewhat modern look. Our server spent a few minutes explaining the menu and exalting the«home cooked» options. It took little to no convincing for me to try the chicken fried steak plate — certainly, not the best one I have ever had since it lacks that«grandma made» flavor that I was expecting. I can’t say that it was bad tasting but it certainly was not what our server had made it out to be. The best thing about Cheddar’s is that it is inexpensive and the ambiance is nice but, next time, I may visit their bar and order an appetizer since the food coming out of their restaurant’s kitchen is mediocre at best.

Pleasantly surprised. Great drinks. We started with a spinach dip that was different than most we’ve tried. It was creamy, the flavors subtle but perfectly blended. Next we moved on to or lunches. Husband had the cheese steak. The bun was crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. The steak was juicy and the whole baby mushrooms was an excellent addition. I had the blackened Talapia topped with shrimp and served over ginger rice. Although the fish bordered on being undercooked it was still very good. Flaked perfectly when I separated it with my fork. I would caution the cooks on the heavy handed seasoning, for although I love blacking spices, they can be overwhelming for most people. Service was prompt friendly and very educated on the menu and cocktails and the total bill a mere $ 40 for a fabulous Saturday afternoon lunch. We will definately be back!

I’ve been to this restaurant several times before. I like their food, and the service has been adequate and very friendly. It took an unusually long time for us to get our food, and when my dish arrived, it was cold. Of course I sent it back, but here’s the sad part. By the time I was finally served my meal, everyone else in my party had finished eating. I ended up just packing it up and taking it home. I might as well have kept the cold entrée. The manager came by to give me a personal apology, and I appreciated that.

This is a really great place to eat! My wife decided to take me here after we had a big important meeting regarding work(stressful stuff). ANYWAY! The staff here were all friendly, its a really modern yet somewhat rustic theme. The menu is also pretty simple so we decided to stick to the basics, our waiter informed us that the portions here are big, he was not joking. We started off with some onion rings, they stacked it about a foot high, it looked good. they were extra crispy, the onions broke apart pretty easily so you don’t get that half bite then pull it out of the crispy sleeve thing. the dipping sauces that came with it were a good pairing. I then ordered the jalapeño burger at medium well. Really interesting, they fried the jalapenos and left the onions chopped and fresh, I liked it. Unfortunately, I could not finish the burger since the giant stack of onion rings sort of filled me up. My wife got the beer battered shrimp with fries and mac & cheese. The mac was good and so were the shrimp, you could taste the beer. She also only got about half way and called it quits. Overall, really good place to go to, and the food was fantastic.

We decided to try Cheddars after reading some stellar reviews(of other locations, not necessarily this one). On our way over I did call ahead seating. You can do this if your party is six people and under. We got there and were seated within five minutes. The restaurant atmosphere is very nice. Dark wood, lots of booths, aquarium, etc. The food reminded me of Cracker Barrel. It was made from scratch, home cooking in a nicer setting. No complaints here and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend the peach iced tea. For dinner I ordered the lemon pepper trout which is served over seasoned rice. My two sides were broccoli cheddar casserole and mashed potatoes with cream gravy.(They only have cream gravy by the way.) Everything was excellent and the food came out quickly. I was definitely given a lot of food for the price. We also ordered a side of honey butter croissants to split. It was really tasty but not as good as what you could get at Hops. However the Hops in Northglenn has been closed for a long time so I’ll have to settle for these in my life. I’m sure we’ll be back in the future. Overall it was a great experience.

Once again service keeping a place from getting 5 stars. I no I’m a pickier then most but the greet times and food check back times were good but then it went all bad. Why don’t more places pre bus tables as a community? Plates and old drinks literally stacked for 15 minutes(with napkins on top) Bill drop came easily 15 minutes after last bite. That being said we were in the bar side and the food was absolutely delicious. The menu was completely from scratch and the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes was some of the best I’ve ever had. The peach tea was definitely southern inspired and their cocktails were strong and refreshing for a Sunday afternoon.

Wow, by the reviews people either love or hate this place. I had been to another cheddar’s down near Parker a few years back and remembered it being pretty good and reasonable prices. The restaurant looks brand new and is very nice inside. Well things haven’t changed much at cheddar’s, which is a good thing! Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. We split the Dijon chicken which comes with 2 chicken breasts, rice, and 2 sides. For 10.95! Added a wedge for 2.50 extra and that was our whole meal. We sat in the bar area and received fast and friendly service from the bar tender. I don’t know if I would go out of my way to eat at cheddar’s since it’s not in my neighborhood, but it’s a good spot to get a tasty meal if you are in the area. Come hungry! I would give this place more of a 3.5 star rating but since that’s not possible and we had a nice dinner that was easy on the pocket book, I’m gonna go with 4 stars

My wife and mother in-law just tried this pace for the first time tonight. Sunday evening the day after 4th of July! Our waitress(named Raven) was very polite, and gave us free samples of soup to see if we wanted it. We would pass on the tortilla soup, it was rather bland and salty. My wife had the Tilapia with shrimp and mango salsa over rice pilaf,(per Raven’s recommendation). She enjoyed the fish which had a wonderful crisp charr on it. She ate her whole whole meal and cleaned her plate down to the mango salsa! I ordered the Monte Cristo after having a disappointing one earlier in the week, I needed something to restore my faith in the sandwich. The meal came with one side,(I ordered the french fries) as well as a raspberry dipping sauce. The meal did not disappoint! The outer batter was deep fried perfectly to a golden brown, and sprinkled with just the right amount of powdered sugar. We would both order our meals again, but I think next time we come we will try something different. The waitress was kind, and informative, but did forget to bring a coke after I asked twice. Also, when we sat down I asked the host if they served Coke or Pepsi, and she didn’t know. How could you not know? Overall we enjoyed the atmosphere, the food, and the prices! Three dinners for under $ 45.00!

Ive been here twice for work lunches. The prices cant be beat. I always get the shrimp with fries and cole slaw. Big pieces of shrimp. Fries that are golden brown. And Cole Slaw thats not Vinegar based. 2 of my companions ordered the Monte Christo. Now thats a sandwich. So big they had left overs. Great Customer Service from the Wait Staff. Our drinks never went empty.

Went here for lunch. Christie was our server, whom of which was very nice and attentive. I ordered chicken fried steak and my boyfriend had the chicken tenders with shrimp. The food was out in less than 15 min(given it was a Wednesday afternoon). I have no complaints. I had a mango lemonade and he had a mango tea(we both have a thing for mango drinks obviously lol) and they were so good! The lemonade is pretty sweet though so if you like sweet then I’d try that if not, the tea definitely

I’d never heard of this place until one of The Fiancé’s coworkers pointed it out, so we decided to try it out for a date night. Color me shocked — the menu was typical«American» cuisine, but actually tasted ahhhh-maziiiiing. I mean, most«American» restaurants have grilled chicken Alfredo and it’s kinda hard to mess it up, but Cheddar’s variation was lovely. The chicken wasn’t soggy from sitting in the Alfredo sauce, which was creamy and flavorful. Their steamed broccoli was also to die for, buttered and garlic’d to perfection. The Fiancé nearly died after eating his Monte Cristo, which was basically like a fluffy donut with the meat and cheeses all melted together and fresh raspberry dipping sauce on the side. He was flipping out — which is not typical for him. Also, it may be because this place has just opened, but the waitstaff were amazing all throughout the evening. Our waitress left to get us drinks while we continued to look at the menu, when another waitress came up to ask if we’d been helped and if there was anything she could get for us. Nice to know that they were paying attention, saw two customers with menus still, and wanted to make sure we’d been helped. Also, our server — without needing to be asked — helped two fellow waitstaffers pass out food to a large group at a neighboring table. You really don’t see that kind of selflessness anymore in a restaurant. New date night location? Check! We’ll definitely be back.

I finally got a chance to try this place as I’ve watched them build it for several months now. But I have to say I was pretty let down. It’s a great looking place, neat fans and a cool fish tank. The service was even top notch. But the food, meh. I had the chicken fried steak because the waitress pumped them up as this homemade southern restaurant. It was pretty bland, and so was everything else. I mean think Black Eyed Pea meets Furr’s Cafeteria, yeah like that. I did really enjoy their kale salad and their take on the painkiller wasn’t bad either, maybe a little too sweet. I also got the impression that there kitchen was a mess because we ordered cheese fries and found lots penne pasta under the cheese. This pretty much says their tossing around food back there and no one is checking for quality. Long story short, I’d probably skip this place and head next door.

I come here almost daily. The bartender Tyler is great! I get a couple different servers when I go and all of them were wonderful. I always get a bowl of the tortilla soup, it is seriously the best soup I’ve ever had. The bourbon glazed salmon is also a home run. I’ll definitely be going in soon!
