Wow! I came in on a Thursday at 11am to grab some balloons. The store was not at all busy, however there was only one person seemingly running the ENTIRE store. I told the cashier, who’s name I cannon remember ATM, I would like to purchase some balloons. She politely called for help to the balloon area. Since she had no one else in her line she proceeded to help me pick out my balloons and prep everything. Another woman, Cynthia, came hastily and grunted,“I’ll take over”. More customers came thru so my original cashier went to help them. This rude woman actually told me «next time get your balloons BEFORE you get in line» I told her maybe more than one person should be out on the floor to help then. I cannot believe she had the audacity to tell me that as if I was an inconvenience to her. Didn’t know shopping at dollar store meant getting a dollars worth of customer service.

It’s a Dollar Tree. That said, I like this store. It is very clean most of the time unless they are stocking and it also has great parking. Some Dollar Trees I have been to are a bit disgusting as far as cleanliness, but this one is very acceptable. I like it because I can go in there and spend $ 15 and get a bunch of stuff I need around the house and it doesn’t break the bank. Overall, a good location with nice staff.

The store has a weird layout. And where you think some items would be. Ohh Lets say Ice Cube trays arent in the kitchen area. But the employee on the register didnt mind helping me locate them. Its a clean store, with a nice Fridge and Freezer section. The parking is a little difficult but otherwise, Its a good Dollar Tree.

Time was 17:44hrs. This Dollar Tree is located in the Thorncreek Crossing Center. This MAYBE an isolated incident due to «technical» failure of their computerized system that day, on Saturday August 2nd2014. Err, maybe its our«luck». our 30 minutes waiting in line that we CANNOTGETBACK. The staffs did not even«comp» us. oh well… *SIGH* I know a Dollar Tree is all things«Cheap» and just a Dollar for an item, but at least they could do something. I even see like other customers, just leave their items behind and leave this store that evening. This Dollar Tree, its NOT as big as I was hoping for, NOT like the one along COLFAX Dollar Tree… I guess to return to this Dollar Tree NOT in a hurry due to 30 minutes of «technical» failure of the POS Check out system. *DOUBLESIGH* The Sales Associate who handled our transaction that evening her name is Marietta. This Dollar Tree is opened thru the following hours : * Monday — Saturday: 9:00am — 10:00pm * Sunday: 10:00am — 9:00pm DOLLARTREE Store #4040 1201 E. 120th St, Thornton, CO80233‑5713 Tel:(303)-452−5803 @149/2014

Definitely a bigger Dollar Tree location, as another reviewer pointed out, with all the mainstream merchandise and a few perks I haven’t seen at other locations. Extended frozen food section.

This place is ok. The prices are fine of course… it’s a dollar store. Took me a while to find the gum because they store everything up front. But anyhow, they have bad customer service. Or it might’ve been just my cashier. She was loud and unprofessional, not very polite. During checkout, I handed her a 20 and she have me all ones back in change. So I asked her if she had some fives and she said no. After she handed my $ 15 in ones, she just WALKEDOFF. Didn’t say«bye» or «have a nice day,» she walked off and the worst part, she left my stuff in the bag, still hanging on the bag hooks. So, I the customer, had to reach over the cashier’s counter and pull the bag off. Lastly, as I was leaving, I got a glimpse of her coming back to her counter with 5 and 10 dollar bills. Yeah, either she or the whole store needs to go through training again.

This store is in a busy, bright clean mall with plenty of parking. Recently the store added a cooler at the back to carry refridgerated items which makes it much more of a one stop destination. I love to drop in and pick up cutesie odds and ends, and necessities that can be gotten in these belt tightening times. Who doesn’t like a bargain? Some items for Easter baskets can be purchased cheaper elsewhere, but mostly the buys are very good. We will be filling our baskets here-er-rather the bunny will be filling up here. What can you say about a store like this-I like there are no suprises at the cash register and I have never, personally, had a long wait in line. Come this holiday we will make like the Bunny: hop in, hop around, fill the bag, and hop away ready for a happy Easter day.
