This is the ultimate place to pick up a Bimbo. A Bimbo bakery item or two, that is! :) It’s a huge shop(I’m almost thinking it was a gas station at one time, with the parking lot and drive-up areas being as big as they are) with lots of select Bimbo products and their respective brands(Oroweat, Entenmann’s, etc.) at bargain prices. It seems as if there are greater discounts closer to the expiration dates of certain products. Check pricing and availability here for Entenmann’s donuts and coffee cake before hitting the major stores, as you can usually save money. Definitely recommend.

This is a Bimbo Bakery store that carries all the Bimbo brands such as Oroweat and Entenmanns. I can get all the kinds of bread or baked goods I like at a very much reduced price. They carry fresh bread as well as close to expiration. They have a punch card as well that gives you a couple of free loaves of bread after so many dollars spent. I come by every few weeks and stock up on my favorite Oroweat breads. They freeze well. The ladies working there are so friendly and always welcome me every time I go in. There is always a good selection. They also sell Boboli pizza crusts(which I love) at half the price.

If you’re the kind of person who uses the sell-by date as more of a suggestion than a rule set in stone, then this is the place for you. They have lots of bread and bread products within a day or two of the«fresh thru» date at about half of what you’d pay at the grocery store. They also have a «free» rack of recently expired items and you get a free loaf or other such item if you spend at least $ 8. If that wasn’t enough, they also have punch cards for free items after you spend a certain amount. It’s a bargain bread-lover’s paradise! They sell a lot of the well known brands under the«Bimbo Bakeries USA» umbrella: Oroweat, Thomas’, Entenmann’s, Boboli, Sara Lee, and more. I’ve also been able to find a lot of the Bob’s Red Mill products including granola and gluten-free flour(although at not as much of a discount). They have only one register, so the service is hit or miss sometimes. If you come when there’s a crowd, it can take a while to get through the line. The hours are also kind of wonky, I think it’s only open till 6 or 7 on weekdays and less on the weekends. Yes, I too am a milk sniffer, rather than a rigid, date passed tosser. Glad this place is so close to my house, it’s saved me a LOT of money!
