This place is disgusting. You can clearly see how unhealthy some of there dogs are. They have them caged in awful conditions. Anyone that buys a dog here should be ashamed of themselves for supporting puppy mills. Go adopt a dog!!!

Great place! Exceptionally healthy pups, great socialization reasonably priced supplies for a little shop. Bought a shih tzu here a few months back. Only drawback– the place is mobbed & a bit understaffed on weekends so if your purchasing things it takes aloooooooooong time

First of all, we bought a dog here when I was 15 years old, a white mini schnauzer. She had parvo and almost died. They offered to replace her. Like she was an item.
Pets are family. They aren’t replaceable. So we looked up the breeder on the papers. She was from «Happy Dawg Hollow» in Liberty, MO.
It had so many citations for buckets of feces, drinking water full of algae, dogs with untreated, festering wounds! Dead dogs lying around!
These are their «USDA» certified breeders.
Even worse — they say on their Unilocal page that they do adoptions. What!!! This is SELLING, not adopting.
I am LIVID, this must end. They will do nothing but lie to you.

I purchased my mini-​schnauzer from here back in May, and she is the healthiest puppy I’ve ever had.
I like how I got her health record, the breeders info, a puppy kit, a lifetime microchip already paid for, and other items when I got her. They also paid for her first vet visit, which was really nice. She’s the happiest, smartest, most adorable dog ever :)

My daughter and I love coming here the dogs are just awesome one of these days we’re gonna have to break down and buy one but just that the help are so friendly in Pleasanton allow you to come in and the store so nice makes it all worth while

I have to agree about the somewhat overpowering odor that hits you when you walk in, but what do you expect for a shop full of puppies? We were actually there for a teddy bear hamster. The service was excellent — very friendly, informative, and helpful. Overall we had a very good experience.

Great place if you want a sick dog. The people are rude and this place has puppy mill supporter written all over it. Spend lots of money for the dog, then even more on medical bills they refuse to have anything to do with. Just avoid it and go to a shelter to adopt. Save your self the heart ache of possibly losing a dog.

I bought my Shiba Inu puppy from the Pet Ranch almost 4 years ago. She has meant so much to me and has been the perfect pet. When I bought her from the Pet Ranch she was very health and had a great personality. I’d recommend this location for those seeking well-​breed and healthy exotic breeds. I bought my baby puppy Chanel here. She’s a little black shipoo. & she is the best dog I ever had. She has such a personality and has to be the cutest thing ever. I would definitely ignore that bad review and get a pup from here. Chanel is the best little puppy ever. & they also have cute little dresses for pups too.

I will never go here again. I was holding a puppy, and one of the employees walked up, yanked the puppy out of my hands, and said with attitude, «you can’t be holding this dog, because he is going home in 30 minutes.». There was no sign indicating this. I was intending on purchasing a puppy today, but I will never go there again. You would think for a $ 1,000 puppy they could treat their customers with a little respect.

10 times better than I expected. 2 of my friends purchased their dogs from here and recommended this place. As soon as I walked in, it did not smell dirty or of urine and/​or feces like some places… it was very pleasant. The puppies are in reasonable sized open cages, where you can pick them up and interact with them. They keep dogs with their appropriate sizes, so there’s no large dogs stepping on small dogs, etc.
The ladies that worked there seemed fairly knowledgeable. All of the puppies come from breeders and if you have any questions they can’t answer they will call the breeder for you while you are there.
Last December of 2010 I purchased a 10 week old, very handsome mini-​schnauzer for about $ 600. He is the love of my life and I have had zero problems with him, other than the fact I love him too much. They come micro-​chipped (I verified with my vet that mine did have one) and with a full 100% health guarantee. If I had room in my apartment, I would go back this year and get him a friend :)
