Yogurt Yum

The owner and staff are always kind and friendly. The place is always clean. Our children enjoy every time we go. They have a good variety of yogurt and toppings.

This place is as good as you can find here in the greater Denver area. I’ve searched for a decent froyo place around here. I’m from Los Angeles and froyo is huuuge out there and many great spots. But sadly, this isn’t one of colorado’s strongest foods they have to offer. It’s okay.
For the locals, I’m sure it’s great, but for travelers, it’s decent. Southern California is where it’s at!

I have been coming here for the past 4 years. The owner is so nice and this is my most favorite place around! Im so glad I found it. Whenever we want ice cream, we come here over DQ or Baskin Robbin because it is healthier. My father who has cancer, always can find a no sugar added option which is awesome when we come with him! This place is clean, the workers are nice, and I love the summer breeze we get through the open doors in the summer! I cant say enough nice things about this place!

Good flavors. Clean and friendly shop. I would recommend this to a friend.

Yum! Great yogurt selections and would rather come here to a huge chain. The owner is very friendly and helpful to what flavors to try. Very kid friendly and would be great for a birthday party.

I’ve been going to self-​serve yogurt places for many years (I travel to Southern California for work a lot, so I had seen them before they made their trek to Colorado) and I was glad that when I lived in Thornton for a year there was a yogurt shop close to my apartment.
They definitely embrace a sense of community at this joint. They have a section for kids to sit (smaller chair/​tables) with toys and a t.v. that plays cartoons (this is nice for people like me with no kids because then they aren’t bored out of their mind running around causing shenanigans).
They have good flavors and a community board that allows you to suggest flavor combinations, which is fun.
I would recommend this as a place to check out if you’re looking for an after dinner dessert stop or even on a weekday date night.

Called the store to discuss being charged twice. Said that there machines are top dollar and don’t make mistakes. I told him I will come in and show him the double charge. The funny part is you weigh your yogurt. The odds of getting two exact to the penny amounts into the cup seems odd. I just hope I get my money back asap. He also asked if I had seen anything malicious on the cashier… I don’t usually look, but she was doing the transaction on the floor… um that’s top dollar registers right there…

With so many frozen yogurt places these days, they all kind of seem to blend together. This one didn’t stand out for any particular reason, but it was by no means bad. They actually had an interesting flavor, cupcake batter (surprisingly very different from cake batter). They have your run of the mill toppings, although I must say the fruit did not seem very fresh. I didn’t add any fruit to mine, but certainly enjoyed my cup of fro-​yo.

There are some things in life I get behind the power curve on, and the frozen yogurt craze was one of them. Now that I have found frozen yogurt, I’m beginning to think I may have an addiction problem. The BF lives in Brighton, so this place is the closest frozen yogurt store to his house. We were warmly greeted, and when we checked out, the cashier offered us a frequent buyers card (whoo hoo!).
The yogurt selection is less than what I am used to at the yogurt place closest to me in Aurora, but they had the flavors I wanted. The toppings are also less than what I am used to, but they did have Hot Caramel topping, which my favorite place in Aurora does not offer.
The interior was clean and cute and they also had seating outside (with umbrellas to shade the tables/​seats).

Good yogurt close to home. I prefer Red Mango but this worked in a pinch. Privately owned. I agree with Sarah V. they really should focus on doing yogurt well and get the knick knack crap out of the store. Makes it look cluttered. Some of the selections seemed very runny… but the ones we chose were good. We will be back.

This was our first visit here. It is a nice little shop with a serve yourself setup. We were given one sample paper taster, which was OK, but frankly a couple would have been nice. The yogurt was very creamy and tasty. Their toppings were a little messed up with the spoon for «cherries» in the «Butterfingers,» and lots of the spoons were like that. The young girl at the counter was on her smart phone the whole time, and when we asked a question, she barely looked up. The tables needed a wipe down as well. I liked that they had hot fudge and hot caramel. We may go back, but it is not at the top of my yogurt list.

I don’t really have much to say except that the Yogurt was already melting as it exited the dispenser, and the price per ounce is extremely high, such that I could walk to the store and purchase a half gallon of frozen yogurt for the same price. The toppings are decent for a self-​serve yogurt shop, the cocoa puffs, chocolate chips, and selection of gummies were great. As for the fruit toppings, they’re often either dried out or completely frozen. While there is a great selection of flavors, the quality is nothing to write home about. I would probably go back if I didn’t already have frozen yogurt in my freezer and if they fixed the consistency/​temperature of the yogurt they serve.

We used to come in quite often actually, but we have found that the consistency of the yogurt is hit and miss. Tonight when we went in most of the yogurts were melty and not thick enough. It was $ 20 for 4 people which seems like a lot for melted yogurt. I think this might have been our last visit.
The flavors are fun and the mix-​ins are good for the kids. It is a fun place to go for a little treat.
The interior used to be very sleek and stylish but I have seen that changing too. They now have an art easel in the corner, a community board that is FULL of papers and messiness on the wall. There is some jewelry for sale on the counter and a big rack of random stuffed animals. I think that when you are running a business you need to try to stick to your direction, so if your direction is yogurt, you probably shouldn’t have a rack of stuffed animals and jewelry… It just makes the sleek look, look cluttered instead.

I felt it was a little pricey but not terrible. They usually have a decent selection of FroYo and toppings.

Good price at $ 0.44 an ounce, topping included. Good selection too.

Yogurt Yum is awesome! We went shortly after they opened and as I filled up my bowl, the guy working asked my husband why he wasn’t having any. My husband told him that he was allergic to dairy, and the guy told my husband that the next time he came in they would make sure to have a non-​dairy flavor for him. Lo and behold, the next time we went in there was a non-​dairy flavor, and we were told they would keep at least one non-​dairy flavor on at all times! Fast forward a couple months and my daughter was diagnosed with nut allergies. We went back to Yogurt Yum and I asked the young man working if he could provide ingredients for the yogurts. He handed me a folder with all of the allergy information listed in it, and then offered to go in the back and make my daughter her own dishes of toppings with separate spoons to make sure she could have what she wanted without fear of cross-​contamination. Absolutely AMAZING service. This has happened every time that we’ve gone back and it just warms my heart. On top of all of this, the yogurt is DELISH (especially the caramel apple and the pistachio) and the variety of tasty toppings is outstanding!

Very nice clean place. Love the yogurt and the staff was very nice and accommodating. my husband was kinda sad they took away his favorite flavor there that he cant remember the name of ;) but overall pretty chill spot. We will be back!

This is a new frozen yogurt place in the Mission Trace shopping center in Thornton. I have seen this concept before, but I really like this place. They have a nice selection of interesting flavors like huckleberry and cake batter. Some of the flavor change periodically. They have a great selection of toppings and unlike some other places, it doesn’t seem like they offer only the heaviest toppings (they charge by the ounce). I love the bobas and mochi marshmallow things! The people that work there are really friendly and helpful. Been here about 4 times so far and I’m planning to make it a regular stop this summer.

Tonight my wonderful wife attempted to explain the frozen treat she had today with her friends. After listening to her rave about this place, the family had to go see what all the fuss was about. Mmmmmmmmm two words… cake batter!!! Without a doubt the best flavor of frozen yogurt I’ve ever had, I thought I was literally eating cake batter. Which may come across as as being wierd, but oh so yummy. A truly welcomed addition to Thornton!

I heard about this place from a mailer. I consider myself to be very familiar with the froyo scene, so I decided to try it out today. The owner was very welcoming and showed me how self-​serve works. They had milk chocolate, peach passion, cookies ‘n cream, country vanilla, huckleberry heaven, strawberry banana, new york cheesecake, and cappuccino flavors. I noticed the price per ounce is 39 cents which is higher than other places. Their cups are also larger which might lead customers into spending more money without realizing it.
I sampled all of the flavors except for huckleberry heaven, country vanilla, and cappuccino. Overall, I was disappointed with the consistency of the yogurt – it was all melty. Especially the cheesecake flavor seemed like it wasn’t mixed enough or at a cold enough temperature because it tasted like spoiled milk.
I ended up getting peach passion with artisan granola, Reese’s, strawberries, and orange boba. I was disappointed with the fruit toppings because you could tell they weren’t fresh but frozen. In fact, my strawberries were mushy and yet half frozen.
While this place has only been open for a month, I think they still have some kinks to work out. I would recommend this establishment label the toppings, switch to fresh fruit, and pay attention to the yogurt consistency.
