OK food and atmosphere. It is loud but that is to be expected. The best part of the meal was the very attentive, friendly and wonderful waitress we had. I believe her name was Linda. She’s super!

Oh my g-d… the chicken was anazing. I got Sadie’s Stuffed Breasts. The chicken has just a hint of char and a nice amount of stuffing. They(2) were sitting atop a bed of broccoli, glazed with the mustard sauce, then sprinkled with some spring onion. YUM! I ate every tiny bit and would have licked the plate if I had been at home. This is a great Paleo option if you can do dairy. My sister loved her chicken wings and fries. My nephew, well, he inhaled his burger and fries. The service was amazing — thank you Linda. She was attentive. My nephew has special needs and she couldn’t have been better with him. Again, thank you Linda. The only issue I had was it was very noisy.(Yes I know it’s a sport’s bar). We weren’t expecting it to be THAT busy for a Saturday afternoon. Also the bathroom was clean, but could use some updating. I know that I will be back. :-)

Was a good place to hang out and grab a drink until the manager asked Alyssa to stop filming patrons in the bathroom.

Not a family place. Went on Saturday and lots of guys betting on horses. Horse betting is cool and fun, but not the crowd you want with kids. Inside was dark and not inviting so sat outside. Outside cool be nice except for the smoking. On the plus side, the waitress(Heather) was super nice and sweet. Food is average. BTW I’ve been to other TK and they are much nicer.

Food is just ok nothing special, The girls they have working there are nothing special at all, some more friendly but most of them seem stuck up, but look who they have to compete against Hooters which isn’t much better

Full menu change and it is NOT good. Food is overpriced and the service is awful. Servers don’t know what’s in the food. The old menu had more Irish flair. I ordered buffalo Mac and cheese thinking little chunks of buffalo chicken… Nope just one big piece on top, Mac and cheese was so congealed it was hard to eat. Drinks are about all this place is good for

The manager needs to tell Alyssa to stop filming patrons in the bathroom. Dear management, your staff won’t let calls through to you to discuss issues at your place. Maybe you’ll get THIS message.

I went with several friends for dinner. Big mistake. The place is way too loud to have any kind of conversation, and the food was awful. Everyone of us ordered something different, and none of us liked the food. We won’t be going back.

I’ve only been here once, but I do remember this place had a pretty good happy hour. Food was decent, and beer prices were good during this time. The workers are all dressed as Irish catholic school girls, and most seem to be very nice. It’s pretty much the same concept as hooters, but I found this place to be slightly classier, and with a slightly better menu. The ambiance is generally fun, though I don’t think I’d come here when it’s not happy hour. I may or may not be back. They do have TVs which is a plus if you’re trying to catch a game.

Tilted Kilt is basically an Irish Hooters. Although it’s good bar food, you’re mainly coming here for happy hour or to watch a game. I have had two of their wraps and the fish and chips. The fish was bland and I wouldn’t order it again. The wraps are good though and I like their fries!

I was excited when this place took over the old Mermaid Tavern(used to be Roxy’s Deli) and was hoping it would be a place we could watch football and grab some great pub food. The waitresses are Hootered out and all very cute, and the guys wear kilts! Fun atmosphere but it kind of ends there for me. The food is just awful. The back area is all horse racing and it’s just a strange layout. The TV’s are not the greatest for watching football. I stopped coming here because it’s just meh.

I was asked by a fellow Unilocaler to explain why I gave the stars I did: The experience pleasant; not bad, not exceptional = 3 stars. Would have been 3+ if the wait time for food wasn’t 20+ minutes & management interacted more with patrons.

I went in to watch an LA Kings game and I was happily greeted by a charming hostess named Lauren. I tried their McCauley’s Spicy Southwest Chicken salad and it was delicious! They serve a generous portion filled with fresh lettuce, cucumbers, peppers topped with creamy dressing, grilled chicken strips and tortilla strips(comparable to a taco salad, but with chicken). Trust me on a hot day this salad is refreshing and tasty! My bartender was Cyndi and she was very attentive and courteous, as was her replacement Rachel. Both bartenders displayed enjoyment in their job and openly conversed with all the patrons seated around the bar which was very welcoming. The beer was served nice and cold, just how I like it. I later had their Basil Hayden bourbon which was very smooth and flavorful to the palate. The waitresses(Morgan, Janae and Heather) were friendly as well. The atmosphere, the food, the drinks, innumerable TV’s and their personnel made my visit enjoyable from start to finish. I highly recommend this establishment *****(five stars).

I’ve been to other Kilt’s of the Tilted kind, and this is the second worst, or better to say, the 5th best. It’s mainly the setup that I don’t like, and I’ve realized the menu is just not great. Plus, the girls are 5th place, too, compared to others I’ve been to. Setup ===== All tables and high-tops. No booths. A few big screens, but TV’s are up high, sports on with music playing(my pet peeve). How can you call yourself a Sports Bar? Menu ===== Supposed to be Irish, and besides the Irish Stew and Beer Cheese Soup, it’s filled with English grub and pub fare. It’s more pleasing than the options at Hooter’s, but there’s also no signature dish or memorable item. Happy Hour ========= Fries($ 3), Boneless Wings($ 5), and Cheese Bites($ 5.50) are 3 of the 6 featured items, and all were okay. Drink specials start at $ 4. Summary ======= Don’t think I’ll return back.

Clean eatery. Off track horse race betting. Good beer selection as well as full bar. I ordered the nachos which were okay. They were like something you would get at a large chain Mexican restaurant. When in Southern California you expect the Mexican food to be much better. This was my first time at a Kilt. A friend took me. The service was friendly and helpful which always s plus. The drinks were a plus. The food was a negative.

Despite the fact that my Tilted Kilt closed down, I still kinda felt like I was cheating on my TK Girls. I’m sorry Melissa, Alisa, Tawny, Chelsea, Kaitlyn, Jessica, Ellie and all the other Valencia Tilted Kilt girls, I’m so very sorry that I visited another Tilted Kilt. A friend had gotten a hall pass, and decided to burn it here. He asked if we could visit, and we obliged his request. So, I packed up two parts of four man trivia crew, and we drove over to Thousand Oaks for a visit. There, we met up with the fourth part of four man trivia crew and some other friends. Unfortunately, there’s no trivia at this point. The rumor mill says maybe by the end of the summer. So, we just had a nice relaxing dinner with friends. The place felt familiar, but it was slightly different from my memory. TV screens mostly blanketed the walls, as well as the memorable TK quotes that were painted at my old hangout. A big basketball game was playing, and it was on just about every TV in the place. According to the Unilocal page, there’s also no wi-fi bubble here. When Skinny lil tattooed Jessie came by with the menus, I flipped through it for old times sake, remembering all the times I’d done that before. But I still didn’t need it. I requested my ‘usual’. The bacon and egg burger with the kilt burner sauce. Spicy yet breakfasty. Jessie continued to refill my iced tea before it got empty, and I had fun hanging out and reminiscing with friends I hadn’t seen in a while. Tim and Charles looked like they were having fun, and I hadn’t seen Mo in many many months. My burger came out, and as I took a great big bite, it was just as great as I remembered from the Valencia days. As a bonus, the egg part didn’t explode all over my shirt.(They sometimes do that.) The onion rings and fries were still super duper salty though. So I had to drink many glasses of iced tea to counter them. After some hours of eating and chatting and laughing and remembering, Jessie mentioned that she was just about due to go home, and we all wanted to ensure that she got her tip, and it wasn’t just transferred to the next girl who looked after us for a few minutes. So we also decided to call it a night. She handed us all our individualized bills, and we paid our way. Trips to the bathroom passed us by some strange devices, which we inquired about. Jessie was quite knowledgable and let us know that they were for betting on horses. So ya. Turns out they do horseracing betting. Crazy. But I suppose that’s one extra form of income that the Valencia location didn’t have. We paid, thanked everybody, and took our leave. The whole night, I did my honest to goodness best not to be one of the ‘Creepers’ my friend Sam spoke of in her earlier review. Hopefully I succeeded in that effort. All in all, the place is neat. Jessie was super friendly and eager and helpful. She even laughed at most of my stupid jokes. Good job TOTK. You’re A-OK in my books.

This is the third tilted Kilt i have been to Valencia, Anaheim and now 1000 oaks. Working off the food and service we got in the Valencia location we came here for lunch. the place was busy and loud due to the fact that a lot of guys were betting on the horse race and yelling at the TV. but it was not crowded. Tilted Kilt has no booths. I like booths. Ashley came right over and got our drink order, brought them out and then we didn’t see here again for like15−20 mins before we could place our order. Once we ordered the food it came out in about the time you would expect to cook a burger. The Warm Up TKONIONSTACK Thinly sliced onions coated in special blend of seasonings, deep-fried and served with TK Sweet Burner Sauce. meh The Rundown I had, one of the signature items, the BBQBACONCHEESEBURGER Topped with Applewood smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, crispy shoestring onions and Guinness® BBQ Sauce. cooked med rare ans served with fries It was juicy and tasted great. My wife had BLACK&BLEUBURGER* A combination of blackened seasoning and melted bleu cheese crumbles topped with crispy shoestring onions and a side of fries. also It was juicy and tasted great. Sammy had the TK Irish Nachos Fresh-cooked crispy potato chips covered with Guinness Beer Cheese Sauce, seasoned ground beef and tomatoes. said it was good but it tasted funny to me the cheese was odd i don’t know if it was the beer in it or what but not a fav. Sheyann had the TILTEDWINGS Boneless wings made with premium chicken double dusted in some special blend of spices and tossed in kilt burner sauce for a little kick those were tasty but basically spicy chicken strips Oh and since the girls wear very skimpy little outfits, not necessarily a good or bad thing but poor Ashley was having a wardrobe malfunction and had a little nip showing and didn’t know it… or did she… awkward. Double D in a lil C… oops! But truly over all she was very nice and did a great job. I’m going with a 3.5 to 4 star here,

I waited until I had been here a few times since my first visit… and now I’ve been here perhaps 5x. Most of the time I got their beef dip sandwich asking for extra au jus each occasion. Once we got fish and chips splitting one between two — and the kitchen staff split it up to serve on two baskets with an EXTRA fish portion and obviously extra fries! Well — mildly impressive and not really expected — but certainly appreciated. The other time I dropped in just for a cup of coffee to kill a bit of time and with only that the service was still VERY attentive. So I glanced at the last few reviews and I am sorry those folks seem to have had experiences that disagree totally with what I have encountered. I have had SUPERB service — attentive, cheerful, and professional. I have NOT observed the staff glum or looking unhappy and as a guy who is indeed there to sort of glance at the girls a bit — I was indeed watching and they were not looking sad? IN fact they were looking either attentive/busy or pleasant in their duties and routine? So have I ever had a problem with my fare — and had to send it back to the kitchen? No not in 4 visits where I had food prepared. We’re not unconcerned with our fare either. Every visit I asked for a little something unusual with the extra Au Just — and it always came. Portions were normal or a bit extra as in the fish in chips we split … and coffee service was frequent, cheerful and professional even in light of my minimal expenditure. Staff paused about half the time to engage our table in conversation beyond the typical wait service. Staff paused to chat and loiter for a few minutes and this sort of conduct is a bit above the norm for most dining establishments. IE — you dine at PF Changs or Outback, or even at Lawry’s or Morton’s and you get table service but usually not a waiter or waitress swinging by to have a chat for a few minutes? Does this register with your real life experiences elsewhere? That said — on the issue of TV channels not being changed and inattentive management… I have observed the waitstaff changing channels — and on another occasion I saw staff asking some patrons what they wanted to see as another monitor was being changed? So that is not true the TVs are unattended. Otherwise — I will say I have seen management attentive and busy, but not yet having paused at MY table to check how my visit was going. But I saw them at another table. Notably — I will agree that on the last visit for lunch I did see what looked like a manager a bit too relaxed and inattentive(day dreaming perhaps) but I didn’t think much of it. Overall — I am pleased with the place. I drop in about once a week skipping a week every now and then. I stop in at different times of day — near noon — afternoon and a bit more in the evening. I keep missing the happy hour specials though just because I am usually busy at those times(drat!). I also understand they have some kind of off track gambling on site? Really? Well I want to try and stop in to see how that works some time but — I have to note how and when that goes on + get in for their happy hour fare. I will say they charge a bit more for most things but that’s because the environment is unusual. The young ladies are dressed in tasteful but skimpy attire. How to justify merging those terms arises from the alternative where staff might be dressed in tasteless skimpy attire(if any at all). So it is kind of a bit of a tease without being vulger. It walks a fine line and is comparable to Hooters. However the menu is better IMO at the Kilt. Technically, since I have stopped visiting Hooters locally in favor of visiting at the Kilt — I marked 4 stars as I seem to be a «Fan». I can’t mark 5 because I reserve 5 stars for truly exceptional and complete dining experiences… or exceptionally compelling establishments. As a final remark on the NEGATIVE postings below my current entry — I am going to have to call BS on them because they sound so contradictory to what several of my visits have encountered? I also think there is a segment of the population who draw seriously conservative opinions against places which idolize the female form and say: cross this line and they’re just flipped out offended! And thus I say they’re disingenuous in their reasoning. I hate to say it but the current state of the world draws a certain praise for charismatic men and women. Ladies swoon over George Clooney and the likes of the Victorias’ Secret model types. Shall we cry foul of anywhere Clooney performs or a Victoria’s Secret sells lingerie? OK — enough said — to each is their own and I suggest for a candid view on this establishment you avert your eyes from those slamming a place to one star UNFAIRLY — and maybe you can ignore anyone posting 5 stars as well where we lack truly amazing gourmet dishes here… as the fare is quite good — but nothing to swoon over.(wink) I’ll post pictures with future visits.

I wanted to try something new for lunch and I’d driven by here many times so I came on in last week. The majority of the patrons were men of course, and the girls wear very skimpy little outfits, less than the competition. That said, I really enjoyed my pulled pork sandwich. I would definitely get that again. For my side I ordered sweet potato fries and that was a mistake because though they had been cut with a machine that made them into an awesome shape, they’d either been way overcooked or left under a heat lamp too long. They were excessively dry and a dark brown like milk chocolate color. When I was done with my meal my server asked if I wanted a box for them. I said«No, they weren’t any good at all.» She apologized and asked what was wrong. I explained and she disappeared for a while, later coming back with my check and pointing out that they removed the fries from my tab, apologizing again. It was a nice gesture but it only saved me $ 1 and I didn’t feel satisfied with that resolution of the bad side dish. Now for the reason everyone comes here — it’s not for the great pulled pork but for the pretty girls in tiny clothes. I personally thought all the girls were cute or pretty. Thin/fit girls in tiny short skirts and tiny little tops that pushed their boobs in for maximum cleavage(not everyone had a lot to work with I’ll be honest). What got me though was that NONE of the girls I saw looked remotely happy. The hostess did smile at me when I walked in, I was greeted right away and politely, and my server was professional and smiled, but in watching the girls throughout my meal, none of them smiled when they weren’t interacting very directly with a customer. Not one of them had an upbeat or enthusiastic attitude and overall it just made me feel really sorry for all of them. I loved my sandwich. I wasn’t offered dessert so I’m not sure what they have. I’m curious but it’s unlikely I’ll go back because it’s too depressing to see all these cheerless lackluster girls on display. I tipped my server very generously not because she did more than a «good» job, but out of pity.
