Had the displeasure of going to this restaurant today. The great news for the owner is no one will probably ever see my review. Reviewing a fast food restaurant is the last thing I have time to do however neighbors if you read this you’ve been warned. Walked in to have a quick burger. First order of business was to simply throw out my empty water bottle in one of their side by side huge trash receptacles however they were both overfilled with the swinging doors stuck open with food mashed between the door and the receptacle and it didn’t smell very well. Second up the line assignment guide was not in use and the 4 – 5 people waiting to order had no clue who was next and others waiting for their food were mixed in the line also. Third up after 15 minute wait for the two people ahead of me I ordered. The cashier who walked off to the back after every order came back and asked me for my order which I provided. He then made change for my payment touching bills and coins then preceded to pour my drink. I watched him grabbing the inside of my drink lid with his bare hands and called him out on it as he had done with the previous client. His response was«I would have to wash my hands after every customer» and I was floored. Disgusting and clearly lack of care or training. People can get sick from that kind of behavior, I have no clue other than touching my money where else his fingers have been. Fourth up 15 more minutes no food, others are yelling and complaining about the total disfunction of this place and I simply dropped my change down on the counter and demanded my $ 10.00 back which was provided. The final insult was the young snotty girl with the headset interrupting my conversation with another customer by yelling«I haven’t even had my break yet». Um sorry we weren’t talking to you, about you or towards you so don’t interrupt. As I got my $ 10.00 back she was telling another customer they were understaffed in both lines. So there were 4 parties with food already eating, 4 people in line trying to order and 5 cars in the drive thru and they had 6 employees visually present. Plenty of staff, just the wrong staff. In and Out Burger would NEVER be part of any of this nonsense so of course I went down the street and got that. The nice final touch was the headset girl telling me as I left very sarcastically and loudly«HAVE A NICEDAYSIR». Oh I will and I did, I’d be more worried about the staff at Wendy’s today having a nice day today, I wasn’t the frustrated party slinging French fries. I hope she got her break and ate my burger.

Tonight my friend and I went to this establishment. We got there just before they closed. It was the most awful experience I have ever had at ANY fast food establishment. The guy was short and kept trying to hurry our orders. When we finally got our food EVERYTHING was wrong except for the drinks. And when we told them they informed us that the grill was already off and there was nothing they could do about it. Needless to say $ 25 later we have a house full of unfed people and bags of food that are not even edible! This place just makes Wendy’s look bad!

This is the best damn Wendy’s in the world as far as I am concerned. You pull up to the drive thru, place your order, and in less than 1 minute, you are driving away with your food. I don’t know how they do it so fast.

I love this place — efficient, effective and excellent! Try their Spicy Chicken sandwich with a Medium Choclate Frosty and some sweet & sour sauce … you just cannot go wrong! Very nice staff to boot!

One of the best thing about this Wendy’s compared to others is that the employees will walk in the dining area and ask the customers how everything is, offer to take your tray and also ask whether you want a refill on your drink. I’m definitely coming back here.

Used to eat at this Wendy’s almost all the time over the last 15+ years, but they recently upped the prices of nearly everything by an extra dollar or more and when you are feeding 2 – 6 people that jacks the price up quite a bit, so I will unfortunately, have to pass on them or eat there only once in a while until their prices come back down, if they ever do. Even most of their dollar menu has been turned into a under 2 dollars menu. The employees seem a bit, bored, disinterested, most likely overworked. And they added a bunch of annoying TVs playing stupid commercials and terrible auto-tuned music all the time and making it hard to talk with friends or Co-workers while on lunch or hanging out. I miss their«Hits of the 60s 70s 80s» music they used to play before they added the annoying TVs. But if you are doing drive-thru and takeout then it shouldn’t be a problem. Other than that, you can’t beat Wendy’s for fast food quality, the meat tastes great, the bacon tastes great(well bacon always tastes great), the buns are sweet and soft, the fries are wonderful when they aren’t soggy… Comon people like crisp fries not soggy ones! Cook your fries longer! No one likes limp squishy fries! Wendy’s has some of the highest quality food of any of the major national fast food chains, hands down! I’m a huge fan of their food, just not a fan of their recent price increase.

My visit yesterday was a little slow — my chicken sandwich was made with lightening speed as I would expect from Wendy’s, but for some reason the french fries took forever so I waited about 5 minutes to get my order. Food was good, service staff was very friendly and polite. They apologized a couple of times for the delay on the fries to me and the other patrons. What I like about Wendy’s and experienced on my most recent visit is that staff members are not only frequently cleaning the front dining area, but they go around to the tables and ask people if they need drink refills and then if they do, they go get the refill for you. This is a very nice extra touch that other fast food places don’t do. It makes me feel more valued here.

I mainly come to this location for drive through after a long day shopping at Home Depot and Target across the street. The chicken sandwiches are good and I love the sea salt fries. Service is generally quick and the staff is courteous.

They have Dr pepper and coke zero and new frosty in a waffle cone The refill drinks is not self serve the staff comes around and is almost like waited service. They even take your trash for you The new bacon cheeseburger on pretzel bun is fantastic. Best fast food burger next to in and out.

I’m a Wendy’s fan. I really like their spicy chicken sandwich. Their burgers are good and I like any of their burgers with bacon — mmmmmmm. I’ve been stopping in this location for years(wow, I think 15 years now). I went to school in Santa Barbara. Now I live in Los Angeles. This location is pretty much halfway in between those two cities. It’s a nice stop for me to break up that 90 minute drive. I never miss it since it’s located off the Wendy Drive exit :) I’ve been through the drive through many, many times. Don’t remember ever having a problem. Same for inside the restaurant. I’ve been stopping in for years, always seems clean, fairly quiet — no problems.

I enjoyed the food, always hot and fresh. Service was So, So but what I didn’t enjoy was that I ordered 3 meals for around $ 20 with my debit card and when I checked my statement from the bank 2 weeks later that $ 20 turned into $ 70+ somehow… Be careful people that wasn’t a careless mistake me thinks… And yes I only mean the Newbury Park, Ca Wendy’s… I fixed everything with my bank and was credited the entire amount but not by Wendy’s. Wendy’s has a teenage male employee who is stealing off your debit card or credit card but this will only happen if you don’t say yes when he asks if you want a receipt or not. Wendy’s couldn’t help me, they had no record of my $ 20 meal or $ 71 charge to my card. My bank returned the money swiftly since there was no one to claim that the charge was legit. BEWARE of Newbury Park Wendy’s People!!!

This place is very quick as soon as i pull up to the window they have it ready and out the window… i love wendys new burgers they are sooo good. The service has always been great and speedy… i even left my debit card there and they held onto it for me till the next day when i could pick it up… they even gave me a super size upgrade for my trouble and im a fat boy so that went a long way for me

The manager here was a complete prick when I came in here with my mom. We go up to the register and my mom says, «Oh my god it’s freezing in here!» And the manager says to us, «Well better in here than out there.» Uhh, wrong answer! Would have been nice if he offered to turn up the thermostat, or, any other small talk than that jack ass statement! Then we spent the rest of our time eating listening to this guy brag about being the Wendy’s manager for 4 years to some people. HAH. Would’ve been nice if this guy took some hospitality or customer service lessons within those 4 years. Never again will I sit down and eat here. Don’t think I even want to go through the drive through because there’s still a chance I might see this guy! *UPDATE* I can tell the manager truly doesn’t care because he’s not like some owners on Unilocal who actually take time to read their reviews and reply to the bad ones with suggestions to make their next experience any better. But it’s fast food what more should I expect? Seems like this guy doesn’t care about respecting his customers. Shame shame.
