Doll Nest

If you are ever in the area, you should definitely stop and check out this quaint little shop.
My friends and I rented a cabin by the river and saw a small side by the road. It’s not a very flashy sign either. You’ve got to keep your eyes open when your driving down the road. The shop and parking lot is also very easy to miss because it’s not a big shop. It’s in fact a shop/​home.
The shop is the home of the two sisters who own it. They are really sweet and nice people who made my friends and I feel very welcomed. One of the sisters is an avid collector of Russian nesting dolls and other types of dolls while the other sister helps around the shop. The sister who helps, turns out she’s from the OC as well and even from my area; Buena Park! We discussed our dislikes about the hookers and prostitutes on Beach Blvd. And her daughter is the Sheriff in Orange County! It was fate that I stumbled upon this beautiful shop.
They’ve got all kinds of dolls. Traditional to non-​traditional. Expensive to non-​expensive. And they also got good olé traditional wooden toys for kids.
I’m so happy that I was able to stop by before the long drive back home. Thank you guys so much! It was lovely meeting you guys :)
