The pizza has the potential to be really good but unfortunately it always arrives to the house cold and soggy. It also is pretty expensive for pizza delivery so if I am going to spend $ 50 I expect it to arrive hot and fresh. It has happened to us every time we have delivery and we always have to heat it up. Just frustrating when you are expecting a good pizza.

This review is primarily related to delivery. I have no idea why, but when we order from here we always put the pizza back in the oven(in process as we speak). I’d eat there or pick up and arrive early.

The pizza looked alright and apparently it’s pretty popular. The pasta with meatballs I ordered was not the best. The meatballs tasted like breakfast sausage. I could absolutely it what, just not what I expected that’s all. Okay, that’s not why I want to write about this place. The lady server, with dark short hair, was so rude. Sure it was our first time there and didn’t know we had to order at the register. We also somehow missed it on the menu. Well, we tried to get the server’s attention and and caught her twice and twice she gives us a «I see ya, but not gonna help you out» look. We finally call out to her and she yells that we order at the counter. Ohhh! We realized how it worked. After that the server was completely rude! Without looking at us or asking if we still needed the menu, she grabbed it super quickly, like she was irritated. We had done nothing to her but acted like new customers. It was very clear she treated our table very differently. She hadn’t checked in on us, nothing. So thank you for that first time experience. We will not be coming back. Cheers!

Fun local place — often busy with families and friends, great pizza for kids and little tables and crayons and paper to keep them entertained. Great pizza — my favorite is pepperoni basil.

I have celiac disease. The so-called gluten-free pizza made me very ill. I ordered a gluten-free pizza from the chalkboard. I was never told that it isn’t actually gluten-free, nor were there any such advisories on the board. This is a very irresponsible business practice that is harmful to customers with serious allergies or Celiac disease. My husband had the pizza tested in a lab. It came back with a reading of «High Positive» for gluten. Pizza is NOT gluten-free. I will be getting in touch with the owners to discuss responsible marketing and labeling.

First — the two stars are because I have had some delicious pizzas at Waypoint before. The salads are always on point. Same with the soups and pasta. But this review is about the pizza last night. Last night’s pizzas was one of the worst pizzas. Even worse than airport pizza, college cafeteria pizza, or a $ 1.99 frozen pizza. We ordered a large Pomodoro pizza. It was $ 29, which is expensive but we were hungry and wanted some hot food. Holy moly, we were super disappointed. The Pomodoro is listed as a speciality pizza with«tomatoes, basil, pinenuts [sic], garlic, fontina, mozzarella’. Sounds good, right? It wasn’t. There were 7 slices of tomatoes on the entire pizza. Remember it was a large, so 16 inches across. And the tomatoes were about an inch and a half across. There were 6 roasted garlic cloves, about a dozen pine nuts, a tbsp of chopped basil, and NO mozzarella. The amount of fontina was equal to about ½ cup of unmelted shredded cheese. That was it. There was nothing else on the pizza. No sauce, nothing. And the sparse toppings didn’t come within 3 inches of the crust edge. The crust was closer to a cheap burrito tortilla than it was to any sort of pizza crust. And it was burnt. Some burnt bubbles and edges are fine, but this pizza was straight up charcoal on all of the edges. Not only was the crust beyond thin, the edges were about 1 cm thick. It was almost as if they ran out of proper pizza dough and just tossed some flour and water together at the last minute and hoped customers wouldn’t notice. Will I ever be returning to Waypoint for pizza — nope. Not when there is another restaurant with better pizza right next door and a grocery store in town that sells frozen pizza. If a friend wants to go there, fine I’ll go. Waypoint’s pasta, soups, and salads are delicious and fresh. It’s as if Waypoint thinks they are the only pizza game on the Tiburon peninsula and can produce awful pizza and crazy high prices.

Summation: the meal was so underwhelming, and we ate in silence bombarded by loud conversation from the staff So disappointed in this place, it looked so charming when we walked in the door; realizing now that I should have read more of the reviews. We ordered 2 walk the flank ‘between the sheets’ sandwiches. Cute idea of making a sandwich with pizza dough, and it sounded incredibly appetizing. However, after waiting for what seemed like forever, it was a big disgusting let down. It was basically an iceberg salad with HUGE chunks of inedible steak on top with some garlic sauce. I’m usually picky about service, and I try to give a few chances for bad service to recover, but it was almost too frustrating to watch. The counter waitress was nice enough, at least she subdued her condescension towards me. The kicker is that she was playing with her hair: clipping it up and down repeatedly, and then without washing her hands served food, REPEATEDLY. Gross. Also if you’re wondering why your delivery is taking so long, the entire staff congregates in the kitchen/ordering area chatting loudly away, with ready to go food.

Excellent Staff! Did not take any pictures of my food because I consumed it too fast to have any food pictures taken. My intake on the food. I like it. Ordered the Mini Pizza, Sandwich Pizza, and Caesar Salad. Really enjoy my Salad. It was refreshing and the sour dough bread compliment it well.(I love carbs). Would definitely order the pizza sandwich again because I enjoy every bite of it. I think my friend and I ordered the meat and greens. Delicious… for the pizza I think it was okay. Not a much order. ^ — ^

Great pizza. Not the wildest of pizza’s, but really good marinara sauce. Also have great salads. Great theme of sailing through the cozy place. A bit out of your way if you coming from the 101, go to the corte Madera mall, but if your coming by ferry or are in the Area, a truly great place for a pizza. Service can sometimes be a little sloppy, but overall the pizza’s are really tasty.

This place had cute décor and some interesting pizza flavors. Our service was pretty good, and the ingredients were fresh and ripe. Prices are pretty good, especially for the sandwiches and the mini pizzas. Everyone was happy with their food. I thought the sauce was a little bland, but I spiced it up with some dried pepper. I had the Southwestern pizza; thought they could have jazzed it up a bit, but the smoked sausage was a great and somewhat unexpected addition. We were all happy when we left. Also, the larger pizzas might be a bit different, but all of our pizzas were crispy, not soggy.

Amazing pizza. I just think the guy with the grey manbun is mean AF, but besides that I love the pizza. If I could eat pizza somewhere everyday it would be waypoint. I have a sensitive stomach and every time I eat here my tummy is happy. I always get the garlic ranch on the side. Sooooo good! It’s a little pricy, but what do you expect from a pizza place in Tiburon-_–

Great pizza restaurant for a casual lunch or dinner. We ate here twice on a recent weekend trip to Tiburon. We ordered a whole pie for a late lunch on a Friday and had a slice on Sunday. Both meals were enjoyable and the pizza was very tasty and homemade tasting. They also offer a soft serve organic ice cream for dessert. We will definitely eat here again when we return to Tiburon.

I Went Here To Spend Quality Time WITH My boyfriend. And we decided to eat pizza. The place is cozy. I like the decoration BUT the attention is really bad is like you weren’t there. AND we oder a pizza of prosciutto and arugula and it tastes like nothing. Probably was the tomatoes sauce. That wasn’t taste enough. So IN Overall My EXPERIENCE Wasn’t GOOD Enough To Come Back

I agree with Matt H. The pizza today was soggy. The service reeks of indifference, which is fine, except for its showing up in the quality of the food. If you hold the pizza by the crust, it slaps you on the wrist. $ 33 for a pizza with two drinks.

My family and I went here because Guayamas was closed. This restaurant is conveniently located in downtown Tiburon — great location(note: no view of the bay like Guayamas or Sams). I’m sorry, but you did just about everything right except for the pizza. Why is your pizza so mediocre? The salad we had was excellent. Very good service too. The restaurant was clean and has a great sailing motif with cool sailing décor and even a decent menu. Very kid friendly. There’s so much of this restaurant that I like. BUT The pizza was very bland. Fresh toppings and a good crust but the sauce is not very good. I can’t remember the last time I had to put salt on the pizza to make it taste better or have any taste at all. They did have a good salad. If I am in downtown Tiburon with my family, the first place I would go to is Guayamas. I might return to this location again, but I’m not in any rush.

Cheap and tasty, great for kids. Cute décor, big picture windows Like the other Unilocalers said, order the SLICE and not the small pie. Great deal. I had the shrimp pasta and it was creamy and delicious, for $ 11 with 2 big slices of fresh artisanal bread on the side. CARBOLOADING zzzzzzz

Shrimp pasta with garlic and basil(~$ 9): A+ YESWOW I was surprised at how good it was since I’ve rarely had a good plain pasta. The shrimp and sauce had lots of butter but well seasoned. Not cheap with shrimp either. Came with 2 pieces of bread. Vegetarian pizza bread thing($ 10.75): A. Huge ass sandwich with broccoli, eggplant, spinach, squash. You have to eat it like a really big taco. Sauce was vinegar-y. My bf liked it a lot, but I thought it could’ve used a bit more salt. Nice hostess person. What a sweetie
