We had appetizers and drinks. We got the calamari, the prawns, and the pea crostini. All were quite yummy but were definitely appetizer size portions. The downside about the view is that you can’t see SF from here. We came on a weekday after lunch time so there was plenty of parking in the lot and tourists, which of course, includes me in the tourist category since I’m from the east bay and was on a staycation :-) All in all a lovely time for me and my elderly dad and his even more elderly GF.

We were a group of 7 looking for a table on a Friday around 6−7pm. There was a table available inside right away, but we opted to wait for an outside seat. It only took 15 – 20 minutes. In the meantime, we were able to sit by the little bonfire on the patio and go down to the sand to take some photos. PARKING: Not easy! You might be lucky to nab a spot in the parking lot, but it definitely isn’t big enough for the restaurant’s capacity. Know that you may have to look for street parking. THESERVICE: Friendly, no complaints. THECOST: $ 215 for 4 drinks, 4 apps, 1 salad, 2 pizzas, 2 mains, and 1 dessert. Not bad, split 7 ways! THEFOOD/DRINK: 5 stars: *(Dessert) — Bread pudding & Vanilla ice cream($ 11.70)!!! This is the biggest must-have. Our server said people travel here to eat this, and she was right. 4.5 stars: *(Apps) Smashed Spring Pea Crostini, Burrata($ 11.95) 4 stars: *(Salads) Kale, Shaved Brussels Sprouts($ 9.75) *(Pizza) Pear, Fontina, Gorgonzola($ 17.50) 3.5 stars: *(Mocktails) Minted Berry Lemonade with«tequilla»(technically a wine as they don’t have a full liquor license, but still a pretty high alcohol content. $ 10). Quite strong! I wished for more of the berry & lemonade flavors. *(Apps) Sourdough Breadsticks($ 5.50) *(Apps) Shishito Peppers($ 7.95) *(Pizza) Mushroom, Fontina($ 16.95) *(Forno) Maitake Mushroom($ 16.95) 3 stars: *(Forno) Salmon, Quinoa($ 21.95). Lacking flavor, & the salmon lacked any variety in texture(no crisp, was evenly cooked throughout) so was a bit boring for me. See my photos for additional review details!

The Tilt Crew has really stepped up their game in the«team building» department. Pedal cranks across the ever-majestic Golden Gate Bridge, delectable egg paninis with free sauce, velvety coldbrew green tea matcha, beers, and a bocce game for the record books were just a few of the things on tap today. The sun was shining, good conversation was had, and – most importantly – no one was injured. 5 out of 5 stars, would recommend.

Since I’m local, I’ve been coming here since they opened. Food better than average, pizza quite good for Marin. My beef is the wine and beer prices. $ 31.00/ ½ liter of Rose on Tap. That’s $ 62/liter for wine that’s never seen the inside of an oak barrel. Like most restaurants in the U.S. over-the-top booze profits offset break even food. In essence, drinkers are subsidizing the meals of the Teetotalers at the next table. Add the degraded service and kiddie scene, I’m packing Bar Bocce in.

5 star for the view and the drink. 1 star for the service. I came here the day before and it was awesome. I decided to take my mom here the next day. Horrible. They seated us at the fire and after that I turned around to take picture and they seated someone else there. How can you seated someone else at a seat that has been seated??? Second, I called waitress to order foods and she signed to me to wait a sec. And she has never came to ask what we want. Waited 10 min and finally called the host to help. After that the waitress came over with a horrible attitude. Will never come back on the weekend.

I can only comment on the service, drinks and atmosphere. Friendly staff, we grabbed at drink at the bar and sat on a bench beachfront to drink it. Fantastic. Great place for a drink. Seems like a fun place.

We ordered pizza and beer, both very good. A little pricey if you seat inside with no view but if you seat outside view is worth it . If you are in Sausalito you need to try it at least once.

Amazing place. A glass of drink and pizza is all you need to just sit there and enjoy the scenic beauty. I cant just keep admiring this place which is a small restaurant with a million dollor view and the most amazing pizza i have ever eaten. Me and my frd happen to visit this place on a weekday which is preferable since the place is small and am sure weekends it will b full and you will have to actually wait endlessly to get a spot. We were at this place for an hour or more and din wana move. It makes u feel awesome here. If u r going to Sausalito dont miss this heaven !!!

I finally made it to Bar Bocce after two failed attempts. You see, Bar Bocce does not allow reservations and tables on the patio are for patrons ordering food. Third time’s a charm! I hosted a few out of town visitors and decided to take them up to Sausalito for the day. The weather was phenomenal, so Bar Bocce’s wonderful patio was certainly on my list of destinations. After being seated at a high-top table for four, we decided on salads and wine as a pre-dinner snack. Our service was prompt and friendly. The salads were gorgeously plated and hit the spot. The highlight here was certainly the patio with the view. We sat back and watched a local play fetch with his golden retriever in the water. The harbor is lovely and a perfect backdrop for cocktails. I will certainly be back. I hope to pay a game of bocce next time!

The waterfront view from this restaurant is lovely, and will seem even better after a beer or two. Seating arrangement has a comfort level of only 5⁄10. The food is 6.5÷10. However, the staff has to learn the necessary skills for a warm welcome. You will easily spend 20 bucks or more here. It’s not a disappointing place but definitely not memorable.

I absolutely loved the food at this restaurant. The servers were great and the food was ok except the OWNER of the restaurant is a complete asshole. Extremely unprofessional. I’ve never experienced being pushed of a restaurant after spending over $ 800 between our group. Do not of come when it’s busy«Kyle» will tell you to «wrap it up» real quick. Never coming back again

This is by far one of the best locals in Marin to chill out with great food! There are many great pizza places and there are many great outdoor locations, but none combine the two together as elegantly as Bar Bocce does. Right along the waterfront in Sausalito’s Banana Belt is this indoor/outdoor Italian Pizza Bar. The environment is great with a small indoor seating area and bar, patio outdoor seating with fire pit and Bocce Ball court and public beach front to chill out on your own blanket. Once you find your seating its time to order something from their great selection of thin Italian style pizzas, unique salads and pare it with a great wine or beer. This place gets hopping at times and you will find a diverse crowd which can range from the romantic date to the huge family party. The place is small and it may be hard to find seating at times, but the public beach and great atmosphere takes up the slack. While they are not supposed to serve food, beer or wine out on the beach their staff will tend to So bring your date, your family, or a group of friends and get out to Bar Bocce on a warm Marin evening for a great time.

Seems to be a must in Sausalito Been there for dinner Very crovded on Weekends Pizza was ok but 64 bucks for a bootle of one of the«cheapest» wines is too much even for Sausalito (Didn’t come with bootle)

We didn’t order any food this time around but my bro told me there was a bar with a view of the harbor and bocce ball game. We came on a fairly nice day so the restaurant was packed. I was expecting it to be a bit larger and surprised when I walked in. The outside seemed nice with a bar, fire pit, bocce game and of course, the view. I take it the pizza is the thing to get here. I looked pretty damn good when I was waiting in line for the beer, watching them make it. We got a couple of hefs and he said we can take it outside near the water. It was nice just being able to sit there(on the larger rocks) and talk to him while sippin’ on cold beer!

The only thing i enjoyed here was the view. Margherita pizza was very salty and the sauce was overly tangy. What’s with the baby basil leaves, it didn’t taste like anything plus there was zero fresh mozzarella. 3 drinks were ordered from 3 people, Mule, Margarita & sangria all were not finished because it tasted really bad. It’s like the bartender was just starting.

I can’t deny it, I love this place. You gotta get there at 11 to snag a table on the patio before the first ferry of the morning comes in. There is a 2 hour maximum on all of the tables, which I don’t blame them for, I could legit hang out all day. BUT you can still order from the bar and hang on the beach, or just stroll around Sausalito for the day. I’ve got to agree with some of the other reviews, in that the service was a solid MEH, but based on food and ambiance it still gets 4 stars. Personal Favorites: grilled calamari, meatball appetizer, kale pizza, kale caesar, and an affogato for dessert :-)

Rustic thin crust pizza, delicious. Very simple menu, quite a few drink selections, from cocktails, to beer, to wine. Service(server, minus 2 stars) could use some improvement. Took a while to get each of our items and let alone order. The atmosphere, very loud and crowded, the server also mentioned it’s been worst, much more pack than what we saw. Very chaotic, not very relaxing on a Sunday. Nice view of the marina, sail boats. Nice open view from the outdoor patio. We might try on a weekday, they may have better service, less crowd. Tip: Bring a blanket there’s an outdoor seating area. Bocce ball is for Adults only per signage but I saw kids playing and the restaurant staff didn’t mind it, so play on!

I wasn’t able to try the food, but I enjoyed drinks here on a cold and drizzly night. We sat by the fire pit which was a sufficient amount of heat, considering it was 48 outside. You also get a sweet view of the water. Drinks are priced reasonably well, but the wine list is mediocre. Service is fast and attentive.

The pizza here alone should give them 5 stars! I’m guessing the lower reviews might be due to the small appetizer sizes, the higher prices, or the slow service but honestly the pizza was so good I sort of forgot about all that. For bland dieters — you can ask for their pizzas without oil! I got the margherita pizza, a classic and bar bocce does it well. The kale pizza was the hit of the table. For dessert, my friend’s got the bread pudding, the brownie beyond, and the affogato(expresso with ice cream). Only complaint was that the brownie was too gooey but some people might like that. I got a decaf french press — coffee here is great, too! It was a perfect meal post-hiking in the beautiful marin headlands, and bar bocce was the best spot to show even more of beautiful sausalito.

Bay Shrimp sandwich for lunch, $ 15 Flavor was a 5, however with only 7 small shrimp on the entire sandwich, the quality for price is a 1. The BLT was also lacking in the protein area, with only two small strips of bacon. While the atmosphere is Amazing, the prices are too high and the skimpy servings on the sandwiches left me with only a fair opinion of this location as a lunch stop. Highly recommend as a drink stop after work, but can’t recommend it as a food/lunch stop.
