Went there yesterday for a quick meal in the evening. The place was pretty crowded for 4 p.m. when we stepped in. While most people were waiting with no food on their tables, there was a queue to order. We got ourselves one Pasta Primavera and a Tortellini in Pesto Sauce. The server got the order in about 10 – 12 minutes. The Primavera was nothing short of a disaster! It was just a blend of pasta and a few vegetables. No sauce, nothing. The tortellini was pretty good. That is all that fetches this place its lone star! The pastas are priced pretty steep for its taste and quantity. Served with a side of garlic bread that had excessive butter in it. Ask the server about Marinara or Hot sauce and you realize she does not understand English at all. She just looks at you, smiles and walks away! Horrible. Imagine, they give you one tissue between two people, expect you to tear it into half and use? Overall, horrible staff, bland and tasteless food, chairs with food stains on it and a horrible experience. Never going back, and would go out of the way to tell my friends not to visit them ever.

If you want to find out that there is ham in your vegetarian pasta, while you have eaten half of it, then this is the place to be. Then when you complain to the management about this and want to hear them say, «people are busy, they make mistakes» then this is where you want to have your lunch and afternoon ruined! Overall too noisy and sub par food. Not going here again.

I came here with my aunt and uncle for a warm drink and small bite after walking along Rodeo Beach. My aunt kept talking about this place while we were walking, haha. I don’t really drink coffee, so I had a hot chocolate and topped it with cinnamon, and it was delicious! I also had a cup of minestrone soup, which comes with bread and butter, and while it wasn’t spectacular, it was satisfying. My aunt enjoyed her lamb burger, and along with their coffees, our total for 3 people came out to just over $ 25, which seems fair. Service was quick and friendly, there’s a good amount of tables, and the atmosphere has an Italian feel. I was able to enjoy a snack and chat with my aunt and uncle. I’d love to return for another hot chocolate and try some of their entrées!

Few minutes walk from my house, it this great café place! I like coming here for dinner: pizza and salad are so good. They have lovely garlic bread compliment the food. I like their coffee collection! It’s so hard because Sausalito has great coffee places but I come here if I am meeting someone and want to hang out for a bit. The customer service are super nice and sweet. It’s also a great place to watch live music. They play every Friday and throughout the weekend! Live music here is very jazzy and rock n roll. Plus it’s very sweet watching people start dancing! It’s a small charm community!

We are new to the area and we have eaten here two nights in a row. You order at the counter but they serve you the food. It is sooooo good. The eggplant is the best I ever had. Spaghetti with the meat sauce is also amazing. It’s where the locals go and hang. Our new place for good Italian food.

horrible place to eat. I ordered pizza it was not even properly baked. When I let manager know he got so defensive and said you how come you eat half of it if it was it good. Horrible service . I would not recommend this place at all.

Went to this place on saturday(Nov 21, 2015) for lunch and had a good experience. Ordered Bruschetta, Margherita pizza, Fettuccine Primavera, and their tiramisu. Overall was a great experience but I was not a fan of their Bruschetta, I cant pin point what was missing or different. I would definitely recommend this place and come back when i get a chance.

My friend said she had spotted this Italian place before whilst perusing the boutique stores. On a beautiful Labor Day afternoon, we pulled in at 6 pm; the crowds were many and we were promptly seated. The menu is large, yet they had what I wanted: gnocchi gorgonzola. After 15 minutes, it arrived, pillows of goodness, bathing in gorgonzola, happily drunk on cheese. The taste did satisfy and I can recommend this dish as tasty and filling. Just $ 13.95 A glass of Louis Martini Sonoma Coast Cabernet Sauvignon was summoned and provided dark berry, deepish scents and satisfied. $ 8.95. And they had a jamming musical quartet that pumped out modern jazz guitar with Latin beats. Recommended. Décor: ok, our table was wobbly. Note: Let’s remember this is a boutique town, so we adjust our prices accordingly :) Bathrooms: clean. Customer service: fine. Parking: in back. Tip: look further back toward the water and find secluded spots to park your ride.

It comes out better than you look in the reviews. I like Home Made Italian Burger — recommend it. Taste of Chicken Fettuccine and Lasagna Bologness is just right — not salty and greasy. We did wait a long time for our dishes but all dishes were warm. Of course, House Coffee should be cold :-)

The food is proportional to how hugry you are from cycling the Bridge. The restaurant is dirty the staff is rude and the food is mediocre on a good day. If I head back to this area this is on the list of must avoid. The long line dirty tables and lack of service are rivaled only at Johnny Rockets across the bay.

My party was here having lunch while on our tour of San Francisco CA. We crossed the big bridge and down the twisty turnery roads to the water. Easy parking on a summer weekday although the lots are almost full. We walked around and found this place which had some good reviews on Unilocal.Mostly tourists here. We got in line and ordered. They bring the order to the table. My GF and I split the meatball sandwich and the marguerite pizza. Food was okay but nuthin to write home about, just takes a while getting to the table. The pizza was a little thin and the meatballs had a lot of cheese, but not much of a tasty sauce. Beers are average and all the pricing is within reason, but they hand over the drinks, right while you are paying. This place is on the corner and has huge pair of French windows that are open for air and sun, okay for a family or group like ours. Well recommended for ambiance and convenience, but not the food. We will try another restaurant next time.

Not sure if the owner’s are from Rome? haha. They kinda looked Indian descent to me, but what do I know? Latte was ok. Bruchetta was yummy. Nice relaxing place that was actually still open after 6 pm.

My taste of Rome was less than tasty. On a Monday evening a jazz band played well, improving the ambience over the two ball games on TVs. So I had that going for me. But the bar service was slow, lackadaisical, unresponsive & cheerless, and besides that I had to ask thrice to get my water glass refilled. I ordered the«Perfection Panini,» a gross misnomer. Cold feta, cold tomato, and cold mealy prosciutto inside a toasted, but not tasty, sandwich of focaccia. Why were all the ingredients inside the sandwich cold? To mask their(lack of) taste? On the whole I’d have preferred to extract the prosciutto from this«panini,» wrap it around a slice of honeydew, and scarf that. Then I might have tolerated the rest of the sandwich, suitably cooked. As it was, it left me cold. The salad was simple and fine. After leading the whole game, Wisconsin managed to lose the en-see-two-ay championship to Duke. What a way to cap off a lousy evening! But that’s not relevant to the way Rome tastes in Sausalito. Just strike that from the record.

Horrible place. The guy at the register kept pushing for us to buy more pizzas than we wanted and ended up charging us without knowing… I’m sorry but this pizza is not worth $ 45!!! That guy was so rude!!! Service was horrible. Our waitress did not clean our table and when she brought the plates, she tossed them in front of us. Last thing… tokens to get in the restroom? Half a mile from here I can go to a 5 star restaurant, pay the same amount of money, and use a restroom without the hassle.

I’d give them five stars but I really disliked the guest singers that took the microphone this past sat night. The normal guy, well I can see why people come to see him but the other people who can’t sing just hurt my ears. The foo, it was quite good. My friends literally inhaled the pepperoni pizza, all the while singing its praises. Me, I had the gnocchi alla Gorgonzola. It was so tasty! It could have used another tbsp of sauce but I didn’t need the calories. The place was mobbed when we went by around 530pm and it was just as crowded when we went back to eat at 730pm. Don’t be dissuaded by the line, it moves fast and the food is worth the wait.

One of the few places opened on Sunday evenings. There was an art show in town so it was a madhouse! We ordered at the counter and scrambled to find seating. The tables are arranged in such a way that it feels like you’re waking through a maze! Ordered the lamb burger — recommend it! It was juicy and very savory. Comes with fries. My boyfriend tried the Sausalito pizza has spinach, basil and chicken. The pizza was brought to us undercooked! There’s no table service so it was hard to grab someone’s attention. Luckily, once we did the waitress was really nice and took it back. Points for that, but still pizza was ok. If you’re in the area and nothing else is open I say go for the lamb burger, but skip the pizza. Desserts looked ok too. Wish the place was a bit more organized though, it’s a big overwhelming specially when all you want to do is eat!!!

Fun little coffee shop with good eats without the pretentious atmosphere of Marin. Haha The food was great, perfect location and with live entertainment. I leave off one star due to their disgusting bathrooms that are coin-operated.
