I stopped in to mail a case of wine home and had a box with shipping material, but did not have it packed correctly. I was greeted as a friend and he helped me repack my box. Once we went over my options, he made a suggestion that was the most cost efficient way for us to get a case of wine home in one piece. Great service and treated me with respect! I highly recommend using them for your shipping needs while in Sausalito!

I was desperate to mail my car key to my friend, so it wouldn’t get towed. The gentleman working there was very helpful and kind and offered me the best option. Although it cost about $ 57 to deliver my keys overnight, it was an emergency for me and I’d rather pay that instead of $ 500 to pick up my car from the tow yard.

I have had several great experiences here. The first was when I was sending an art print and had it in a larger poster tube. When I brought it in, I was delighted when I was told he had a tube he could give me to use and it would cost half the price. That’s not service that I would have gotten at the post office!
My second experience was with a PO Box that I have been using for a questionnaire that was sent out — hundreds and hundreds have come in. He keeps them safe behind the counter in a box or bag and always passes them over with a smile.
Convenience, value, and great service — it’s a win-​win.

I just came here for the first time to send something I sold via media mail. The guy at the counter was super helpful and even cut me a break on the shipping materials (even though it was a pretty cheap transaction to begin with). There were a couple people behind me but I wasn’t rushed through. I would definitely use them again.

I recently wanted to ship a few Giants jerseys to my relatives on the East Coast & they worked with me to find the cheapest overnight shipping method. These guys are super friendly and get the job done! They will compare prices for you to get the cheaper price.
What I like is that the go the extra mile. When I was in there last, the box I had for my shipment was oversized. They offered to cut it down for me to help save on shipping costs. It is the little things like these that keep me coming back to Ship N Mail.

I have been a customer of Sausalito Ship N Mail for over twenty years and I am really happy with the personal service and friendly, easy going attitude from everybody who works there. You can always expect a warm smile of recognition, and the place feels very familial to me at this point. You can rent a care there, you can buy postage, and send or receive packages, or rent a mail box service. Great neighborhood small business. The owner, Ernie, is the best!
