Mary, the woman behind Grace Bookkeeping, has been helping me with my taxes since I moved to Oregon nearly five years ago. She was a friend of a friend I work with. She helped me deal with a huge mess where my employer was still connecting me to California despite my residence in Oregon. And on «normal» years, she’s super organized, which nicely counterbalances me, the not-​so-​organized part of the equation.
She sends out a reminder, along with a checklist of documents to gather before tax time. She’ll pick up and deliver documents to your home. She puts everything in a spiral bound folder for you so you have everything bundled and easy to store in case of an audit. And she’s just a really nice person to work with. If you need someone for your private taxes or small business, I highly recommend her.
