Its true. I fell for the photos. And it was cheap for a unit with washer and dryer. Once the mice, and then the ants, and most of the repairs I was hoping to have done before I moved in a month after I started paying rent (which are almost complete 6 months later) it almost seemed like I could enjoy my apartment. But then the sparks flew out of the breaker box when i tried to put the heat on, then the 33 in wide hole in the wall to find the problem which turned out to be the fault of someone who did a previous repair. There hasn’t been a single month where I didn’t regret my choice. The mice were from the storage area next to my apt that the management company didn’t know who owned it because they didn’t ask when they bought it. Not only am I desperate for my lease to end i will never rent at a greystar property again. Learn from my mistake!

I had lived here for almost 2 and a half years and my apartment kept flooding over and over and not allowing me to even have access to my bedroom, all in totally about 10 times that it flooded, my bedroom furniture got ruined and management told me that they aren’t doing anything about it and then beyond that I have asthma really bad and there was mold in the apartment and I became very sick now having thousands of dollars worth of hospital bills, and then if something is broken you normally have to put in more than one work Order unless it an emergency for one week my dryer didn’t work and that’s part of the lease. And upon moving out I had a bunch of clothes stolen as well. Defiantly don’t recommend this place they don’t care about any of their residents or anything.

Do not believe the fake pictures, Pacific Crest is DIRTY. The pictures are definitely Photoshopped to add fake brightness and clean paint.
Parking was a joke. There are only a few «guest» spots and other residents leave their cars there on a near permanent basis. Complaining multiple times about the same car to management gets no results. People park large work vans in the tiny parking spots, like the multiple Comcast employees that feel the need to park their work van and their personal vehicle in the «guest» spots. Most of the parking is difficult to get out of if you have a medium sized car.
Landscaping sort of gets done. I complained a ton about the dog droppings all over the grass and throughout the side bushes. There were droppings left until nature took care of them. Disgusting. You could not walk to the mailbox through the grass or you would step in multiple piles. Dog owners do not get punished when dog droppings are all over the complex. Nothing against the dogs, but their owners do nothing about them barking and complaints to management get zero results.
Maintenance is a total roll of the dice. I moved in and my apartment already needed a ton of work. There were holes in the window and doors weatherstripping so you could easily fit paperclips through while feeling the cold air in winter, took weeks to get these fixed! You could easily tell the doors were painted over multiple times because they stuck and required me to slam every door closed. Painting is extremely sloppy, paint splatter on the carpet, bathroom mirror and fan. They clearly did not bother with tape to prevent the paint from easily spreading.
They took away the recycling while increasing the cost of garbage! The garbage dumpsters are always overloaded and full of extra trash all over the ground. There was broken glass on the ground in front of the dumpster for months and management did nothing about it. They do not care that their facility looks like a roach motel.
Paper thin walls allow you to listen to your neighbors’ conversations. The couple across the hall with kids had multiple screaming matches that involved slamming doors between midnight and 5am, near domestic violence level stuff. Lady downstairs could not control her dog and often had drug addicts over, management did not care. How did I know they were drug addicts? They screamed at each other about it and I heard it through the paper thin walls! Lots of trashy neighbors that cram multiple families into small apartments. People would store boats, large equipment, and dirty laundry on their decks. Dogs left on the decks would get out and wonder the complex, management did not seem to care.
Do not expect to get your deposit back. Baseboard heater turned on max and burned a nearby blanket, in the summer, while it was turned completed off. They claimed the smoke damage ran throughout the apartment, was not worth the legal fees to fight. There were heavy cigarette smokers downstairs, maybe that traveled up to my apartment and caused it all? Sure. Pacific Crest obviously desperately needed my deposit fee to cover the cost of cheap paint and cheap carpet. One month I was a day late on rent since their system did not process my payment, I had to show them the receipt to prove I paid on time. and I got a three day eviction notice. Made sure to pay the first day possible, plenty of time for the system to process my payment, since they are obviously desperate for money.
