Great local bar. It was going downhill years ago, but maybe bar has changed hands in ownership because its on an upswing for the past 2 years. I love the HUGE bigscreen HD tvs to watch the games. Other bars in the area should take notice to that. Food is great, bar is clean as a bar can be, staff is nice, customers seem to be all locals and friendly also. Down to earth type of atmosphere, not douchy stuckup people customers like Baily s across the street.

We dig it. Nice/​funny staff and the food was great. Although they look short staffed/​exhausted sometimes!

I love this little hole in the wall. Cheap drinks, great food, friendly staff. That’s all you need. Early evening is full of a slightly older crowd stopping in after work. The early shift of bartenders are sweethearts. The evenings can get a little biker heavy. Not a bad thing, peaceful fun bikers, but something you should be prepared for. To be honest, the night staff has had a turnover since I was last here late so I cannot speak to that. The pizza is pretty good, the signature burger is good and gets better the more you drink. This is our go to spot when we just need to meet up for a drink (or five).

Disappointed. Order was screwed. Lots of delays. Only 1 Girl Working The bar. Same girl was waiting tables. Can’t say what the food tasted like since we walked out. Not sure I want to give it another shot. It was recommended by another fellow. Definitely down hill since my last visit.

Meh… this is definitely a dive bar. Interesting crowd, each person is weirder than the next. Slow service. When our table wanted drinks, my friend had to go to the bar and ask them to come to our table. My friend was told by the girl working there, that there were only 2 people working (yes, just 2 people working on a busy Saturday night) and that «I am not a waitress, I am a bartender.» Nice…

Okay, so this review is solely for the pizza, but I guess I can add some commentary on the crowd as I waited for my carryout order.
So the pizza is good for their thin crust which is a tavern style pizza. Actually found the place because of Steve Dolinsky and decided to try this place for another night in (wife and I are caring for our newborn.)
The pizza we got was da combo which was great with the sausage, beef, and giard. We actually finished a large pizza and were still hungry. I guess that happens when you forget to eat at times choosing instead to get rest when the baby decides to nap or when other tasks are done. I guess my only qualm is it’s a bit pricey especially when this place is mostly a bar…
The people there seemed like good people. No bros here. Seemed like quite a few people in biker garb. Felt out of place in my sweater cardigan and pajama pants, but whatever. I wasn’t there to socialize or grab a drink. Props for this place and the bartenders not being douchey like Zante’s of Orland.
Will I be back? For the pizza yes. To actually dine there and grab a drink? Sure, once the wife and I get some time to relax.

Best Bloody Marys ! I like bloody marys and just could not find one i really enjoyed until I came here with a friend! Also, the pizza is great! super good. Best place to go to cure a hangover with a nice bloody marry and small cheese pizza on a sunday!

Cant say enough good things about this place. Great specials. Better food here than any other oak park ave spot.

Worst service ever! Takes an hour to get your order taken on a slow night, another 40 to get your drink. Have to pay extra to get peppers on a beef sandwich. Waitresses clueless on the price of anything or which table is which. Men’s room toilet is held together by duct tape. I can keep going, but I’m sure you get it

Best burger I’ve had in years. Great place for beer, food, music. Tina and Liz have exactly the right amount of attitude — and looks! Highly recommended.

I was there for the drinkin’, and not the eatin’. Kind of a small place but decent none the less. They had a band there the night we went, so having a conversation with anybody else was next to impossible, but it was a fun night, and I didn’t even get into a fight, so pretty good all around I’d have to say.

Good food. Ice cold beer. Lots of regulars. A great place to have your fantasy draft.

This place is a real dive… but im pretty sure thats what theyre going for :)
good beer prices, nice employees. during bears games they put out plenty of food (for free) at halftime, not half bad either.

$ 1 drafts on Monday, $ 2 drafts reg. Daily specials… great bartenders (female). Lots of locals to enjoy.

I stopped in with a friend who lives close by, yeah you won’t find me in the ‘burbs very often. When I first walked in, the crowd looked a bit intimidating, a little on the tough side. My friend and I took a table away from the bar and close to the pool table. We got some of the 75cent tacos on special that night. The tortillas are homemade so why not, right? The only option they have is ground beef so not any variety. Also, no guacamole is available. But for 75 cents, you can’t complain. You can also get a basket chips for $ 2 and homemade salsa. The food is average but if you are looking for cheap it is better than fast food at least. The waitress was very helpful and fun. Getting extra tomatoes and lettuce upon request. With a little bit of fun saucy attitude which I can see why working there. Beer selection isn’t terrible and prices are OK. I definitely wouldn’t make the trip back to have the food but if I was in the hood I might stop by.

Bad bar service. Too scared to try the food (dining area is 1 foot away from the dart machines and pool table). Cheesy clientele. I was overcharged for drinks the only night I went there. Will never go there again.

Dive bar? You bet. Great time? You bet. I have never had a bad time here. Drinks are cheap enough, the food is good enough, and the bartenders are hot enough. Always a good, fun crowd. Alone? No prob. Guarantee you make a friend or 2 within the first few minutes you belly up to the bar. Shots anyone?
