Got seated quickly, then watched as people were being seated around us. They were all being waited on and receiving drinks and appetizers and we had not received any service. We then asked a waitress for our server, Yet after over 15 minutes, still no service, we decided to leave. As we left the hostess asked why we were leaving. I could not believe how rude she was when we told her why. Her comment«well did you asked anyone ?» i replied yes when in a curt voice she said«well it is Saturday». Durbin’s down the street was great.

Pizza is over rated. Owner just convicted of selling pizzas to the Tinley Park city council for over $ 119,000 for years. He is a crook.

01÷29÷16. The disappointment outweighed the deliciousness of the Taco Pizza. The wait time of 1:15 was made worse by the fact that 5+ tables sat empty the entire time with reserved placards on them. I’m convinced that the«Queso & Chips» cheese was nothing more than a scoop of liquid cheese from a warehouse box store can. We decided to forgo the drinks, namely the Blue Moon which I had craved, after I watched the bartender accept cash for someone’s order, move her hair out of her face with her hands, then place the orange slice on someone’s Blue Moon by hand without any attempt to wash them. It’s been a while since we’ve been there and after that, will probably be a while before we go back.

A little overpriced for such a «thin» pizza! But very good otherwise!

THEBESTTHINCRUSTPIZZAEVER! If you are a deep dish fan, the thin crust pizza is not for you. We have been going to Ed and Joe’s for 23 years and they have never failed us. This pizza is the complete package of a very good thin crust pizza. Just the right amount of tomato sauce to cheese to meat and the crust is cracker thin. The servers are delightful and remember you when you come thru the door. We have been eating Chicago thin crust for a long, long time and we have found nothing better then the thin crust at Ed and Joe’s

We had the bruschetta as an appetizer and were happy with it. We ordered a large green pepper and onion pizza and I was surprised at the size of it. Large pizzas are usually bigger at other places. It was really thin– which I like. It reminded me of Foxs pizza with a different sauce. We ordered two of the craft beers they had on their menu. We asked for two more and were told the keg was empty and they didn’t have a backup. The service was good. The food was good. I am a fan. We will be back.

I thought I would buy several gift cards from this place on small business Saturday, but no one there would even acknowledge me. that’s ok, the pizza is very overpriced.

My favorite pizza! Super thin crust and fresh ingredients. Friday nights with the kids it’s perfect bc they have a balloon artist to keep the kids entertained while you wait.

Had a nice dinner here with family. Wings were very good, loved the breading. Calamari was undercooked and laid out on a bed of marinara making it very soggy… only negative of the whole meal. Pizza had mixed reviews though, husband loved it, mom said it was a little soggy. It really does depend on your preference of pizza crust, it’s very thin how my husband and dad love. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and I was a little skeptical since it comes plain — no cheese or sauce, but there was a lot of flavor. Great cannolis as well. Service was fast and friendly.

Had a cesaer salad with grilled chicken and pizza delivered for $ 38. The salad dressing which was on the salad already was extremely watered down; grilled chicken was good. The pizza was very disappointing considering all the good reviews. The crust was soggy and seamed to be barely cooked. I always order a large to take the extra slices to work, but this was barely enough for two people. Anything that was left got tossed bc it wasn’t even worth saving.

The only reason this place is getting three stars is the food was good. The waitress made our experience terrible. When we first were approached by the waitress she never smiled. My fact she was a bit impatient with us since my dad is hard of hearing. My dad asked for coffee which took forever for her to bring & when she did bring it she didn’t bring a spoon. In fact I had to go to get him a table setting. After a different waitress brought us our food she didn’t check to see if we needed anything so I had to go to get my own mustard for my sandwich. When she was whipping past us to wait on other customers we asked for napkins and more coffee for my father. We received neither. I had to once again get us more napkins. By time I could flag her down for more coffee my dad had finished his meal. I still insisted on the coffee. I hope it wasn’t our ethnicity that made her service subpar. I observed her giving a little better service at other tables. I accepted a rewards card just so I could comment on the service. I doubt she handed it in or if she did maybe she scratched out my comments. I hope her service improves.

We just moved in around the corner from Ed & Joe’s and I already LOVE this place! A GREAT space to watch Hawks games and enjoy a cold beer! The Pizza is great and the Wedge salad is one of my favorites too! I’ll be back with more recommendations after we get all the way through the menu!

Nice little place in downtown Tinley. Quite a bit of tables to dine at and a small bar with some stools. A few tables outside which is good for nice days. I’ve only been here a few times for drinks and some pizza. The pizza is way too thin for my personal taste. It’s not bad, but nothing to rave about. My mom really likes their taco pizza, but I’ve never tried it.

The best thin crust pizza in the Chicagoland area! Excellent food and friendly service and the bar pours a great black and tan! I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who loves pizza!

My fam ordered pizza from here over the weekend, and I was pleased! I lived in Tinley Park for years, but don’t recall ever having Ed & Joe’s until my visit this weekend. I love thin crust pizza, and Ed & Joe’s had some darn good thin crust. Service was good, arrived in a timely matter and such. See a lot of people complaining about service, but since I didn’t actually eat there, I guess I wouldn’t know. We ordered a pizza with spinach and garlic, eggplant rolls, and bruschetta. Was a little sad they didn’t have garlic bread or cheesy bread, but what we got was good! Only complaint was that there were a couple pieces of pepperoni on our pizza. My brother and I are vegetarians so we had to avoid those pieces, but it was odd! The bruschetta and eggplant rolls were very good. I would get pizza from here again when I come back in town, food is great!

We have come here for many years, and have tried many different things in the menu. We have yet to try something we didn’t like. The service is always fantastic and friendly, and we so appreciate how attentive they are to our daughter when she’s with us. It’s such a family friendly place! Love that they support local craft breweries and appreciate the craft beer selection. Always a great experience at Ed & Joes!

This was my first trek to Ed and Joe’s in a long while. We had a party of nine people cuz family is in from out of town. I remember the taco pizza being very good. It did not disappoint. It was just as good as I remembered. The regular za was solid but I liked the taco za much more. My mom had a beef sandwich and she liked it as well. I had the house salad and it was good. We were eating a late lunch so it was not that crowded. The only thing stopping this from being a 5 star review was the service. Our server got everything right it was just a little slow.

This place is actually pretty nasty. I’ve never had good service here, and the menu is lacking. Too many people go here just because they’ve been going here all their life. There are so many better pizza places in Tinley. Also, consider adding some vegetarian options other than pizza, and fix your A/C and heat.

I grew up on Ed & Joe’s and honestly, it was a family favorite. That being said, in my adult life i go there maybe once a year… Why I’m finally writing a review? I literally just put my napkin down from eating a pepper and egg sandwich and the chef’s feature fried pickle chips. This dinner was fantastic! As a non-meat-just-fish eater, lent is the best time for restaurants to have more of a selection for me. The sandwich was on garlic bread with melted american cheese on top of the pepper/egg combo. There were sliced pickles and home fries on the side. The fries were great too because they weren’t typically crunchy, but soft. As for the pickle chips, they were huuuuge! I mean, toddler fist size! They are made with a homemade breading and a homemade ranch dressing. They really need to bottle that stuff! Don’t get me wrong, last year my husband and i got the gulf shrimp pizza from there that we also thoroughly enjoyed. We’ve also had the cheese balls, taco pizza(when we ate meat), cheese pizza, pasta, and mozzarella sticks. These dishes were all good but this sandwich and pickle chips were so good i had to write a review. Definitely need to stop in more. For beer drinkers, they recently started dabbling in craft beers.
