This was the second of our«outdoors or bust/YAY for spring!!» hikes last weekend. Mr. M&P grew up literally just up the road from this hidden gem, and knows all the hidden nooks and crannies. The AMAZING falls are your payday, and you see them pretty soon upon entering the trail(obligatory stop to oooooooh/aaaaaaaaaaaah and take ½ a million pictures!!) but the trail itself is great, not too strenuous, not too easy, well-maintained and picture perfect! It’s been a long, cooooold winter, and it’s time to GETOUT and enjoy local gems like this one, before it gets too HOT to trot!(Did I just write that?!?)

This is a beautiful hiking park. It has a 1.8 mile loop trail that is groomed. The most beautiful part of this is the falls. About half way through your hike a set of stairs takes you down to a rock formation that creates a several beautiful waterfalls, a definate photo op. If you need something to do on a lazy afternoon this is your place. I wouldn’t suggest it for children under the age of two, but the trail is groomed so it would work very well for older children. Enjoy!
