High end luxury items with prices to match. Beautiful quality of course. Lovely display of Simon Pearce glass. as well giftware, linens, Laundresse products and much more. I have to agree with the previous poster, the attitude of the shopkeeper was offputting to say the least. I may not fit the mold of her typical customer, but appearances can be deceiving and she lost a sale by her unfriendly demeanor. I have rarely been in a store, looked at several times and not greeted.

I’ve been in this shop a number of times and usually leave with a little something. They have beautiful,(VERY expensive), furniture. I can’t imagine paying $ 900 for a little table, but hey, more power to those who can. I enjoy their selection of soaps, books and kitchen accessories and sometimes, there’s a deal to be had in their clearance section in the back. My biggest issue, and it’s one that stops me from going in more often, is that they are very unfriendly. One woman who works there will say something occasionally, but most of the time I walk in and am not even greeted. I’m not sure if I don’t fit the mold of their customers who drop more cash or what — but, I even brought a friend in once and she mentioned it when we left. Local businesses are my favorite. I will always spend a little more to support them, but a simple hello and smile goes a very long way.

What a nice owner! Nancy is a sweetheart. A friend bought her furniture here and introduced me to the shop. Excellent for home furnishings and bedding. They also have a ton of amazing outdoor and indoor cotton rugs and laundress products. There is a local artist that painted this amazing pic of Peso and I’m heading back to get it!

I love the exterior of this place. In front are several pairs of designer chairs, and to the left of the store is a small courtyard with other patio furniture. I also love their collection of throw rugs, at reasonable prices, and it looks like the rug business is a large part of the business that they conduct. Outside of those two elements, Cottage offers pewter, linens, and other elements of a dining; however, unlike the rugs I felt like these items were really over priced. Even the sale bookcase in the back was expensive. Everything looks beautiful, but the same type of things can be bought several other places for a lot less.
