What a wonderful find! We came on a recommendation from a friend in Rhinebeck and was it oh so good. Nice, cozy space, Irish pub done right. Staff was very friendly if a little inattentive but for a casual diner not a problem, but if you have your nose in the air well you might deserve to be gently ignored. Food was delicious and inspired for a pub menu. We will definitely be back with friends.

This is a fantastic place to gather for drinks, and when things are working right, get a great meal. I don’t go that often, but the last two times I’ve eaten there, my meal has been terrific. My burger (hand made patty, fresh beef) was outstanding, and the salad that went with it was also wonderful. Large portions. I would give five stars, but they have to work out some staffing issues. The space itself is cozy in a way that American bars almost never are, and when the wood stove is going, it’s better than home.

A gem! I’ve been coming to this bar since I came to the area in 2008 and it has transformed from an admittedly beloved dive into a warm and inviting pub with loads of character (both in the décor and sitting at the bar), all while retaining that lovely feel of the come-​one-​come-​all local watering hole.

This place recently brought on a new chef who has created a great new seasonal menu. His specials are fantastic and often based on local produce — I had a red kuri squash soup last week that was to die for. I love the atmosphere here; very cozy and comfortable inside and they have a great patio outside. Traghaven is my new go-​to place to take the family for a casual dinner in Tivoli. Creative menu without being over the top, with something for everyone (even the kids), reasonable prices, and great service! They also have a lot of fun events — trivia night, live music, etc. Definitely worth checking out.

Food is exceptional. Come down to experience the magical delights emanating from Topher’s kitchen and make your dreams come true. Trivia every Wednesday night. A bar with great local beers and the largest selection of Irish whiskey in the US.

We’ve come here a couple times now and the menus changes but is aways wonderful and eclectic. We just had the scotch eggs and the were absolutely wonderful.
For a beer geek like me, the tap List is excellent. And for the wine lover like my wife, the list is equally excellent. And let’s not forget the amazing Irish whiskey list.
The ambiance is very nice too, and the outside seating in the back has a wonderful garden feel.
Come here. You won’t be disappointed.

Was once the Black Swan and now back to it’s authentic roots and charming self. The food is fantastic and the choice of beers and whiskey is top notch. And in this case the owner is ACTUALLY Irish so when I say authentic I mean it. Go. Have fun.
