Del Taco

Thanks to the other reviewers, I decided to give it a try. I’m glad I did! They serve hamburgers, fish tacos, and other Mexican items! I bought the double Del burger that they had on special (for my son) and it was very good! My son said it was one of the best burgers he’s had (as far as fast food goes). They are priced very reasonable, and the staff are very friendly! MUCH BETTER than Taco Bell. Will definitely be going back.

Went in for the first time New Years Day and received such wonderful service and the food was excellent for what was suggested. I’ll be back!

The short male manager was very rude. He messed up order and then proceed to say that we were embarrassing him. He should be he couldn’t do his job right. Not only did he mess up once but he messed up two times and I didn’t even get what I ordered. The rest of the employees were great and very nice about the situation. The food was great also. The only problem was the male manager. We went there on Thursday the 24 at around five five thirty. Get rid of him and the place would get more stars.

Not only is Del Taco one of my favourite chains, but this Del in particular is the best one. Every time we come through here, we make sure to stop by, sometimes multiple times. Friendly atmosphere, tons of deals, and fantastic food. Highly, HIGHLY recommended.

Open 24 hours is a blessing and a curse. Having tacos and burgers on one menu is amazing and cruel. I love the food and there’s always a daily special but as everyone knows fast food is a silent killer.
Chicken tacos, double Del burger, and classic soft/​hard tacos are comparable to competitors. My favorite thing about this del Taco is the friendly staff.

Good portioning versus price. Food quality is much better than «the Bell» in my opinion.

This Del Taco location has the best staff ever! Everyone is so nice, it seems that these folks like to work there. I love the food, the tacos are great, the sauce is tasty, and every time I visit, the place is very nice and clean. I live far enough away that before I leave, I order some carry-​out for the next day because it is so yummy!

Del Taco is a southwestern chain that sells tacos, burritos, burgers, french fries, and milkshakes. From the outside it looks like your average fast food restaurant. Inside, the people are the nicest I’ve seen at any fast food place and they even rank above some full-​service restaurants. I don’t know how they keep their people so happy but it is definitely nice to be treated so well considering I’m ordering the cheapest food on the planet. Yes, the prices are fantastic and the quality is surprisingly good for the price. You can get two tacos and still pay less than you would for one at Taco Bell. I live two hours from Toledo but I always stop here when life brings me to Toledo or on my way to Detroit which probably adds to the allure of this place.

The chicken tacos have great flavor and there is an awesome value that comes with this place. Overall a great quick place to grab a good bite to eat and an alternative to Taco Bell.

BEST mexican and american fast food chain in the WORLD. im glad they came to ohio. i was born out west and i missed this place til they got here. and now they have two locations in toledo. taco bell, who? LOL! go, del taco!

I just can’t give a restaurant that is fast food five stars. I JUST CAN’T.
But I want to say for fast food, Del Taco hires the most competent, kind workers ever in the drive thru. Often its some older mom-​like lady who just seems authentically friendly. I very rarely eat fast food, super rare, what with so much better for you and made specifically for you restaurants in Toledo. But when you have a fast food craving…
That out of the way, the tacos are cheaper and better than taco bell for me. You can order a taco and french fries? So smart. Their burgers aren’t bad either.
The nice thing is that they are 24 hours, and while Taco Bell for some reason will have 9 348 573 948 people in line, rarely do you wait for longer than five minutes tops for your food at any hour of the day or night.

keep it simple: chicken soft tacos (5 for $ 4.95)
BAM! thats all you need. its DELICIOUS and perfect food at 2am. anybody (ANYBODY!) who argues Taco Bell is the superior chain is clearly mistaken. Compare menus, compare options, compare desserts… churros and cheesecake bites vs cinnamon twists? give me a break.
i since moved to columbus but am back in toledo atleast once-​twice a month and always find time to stop here and pick something up. we need one in columbus, BAD. they would do very well here.

I had always thought of it as more of a west coast chain as i had subsisted on this stuff throughout college, so I was pleasantly surprised to find it in Toledo. The food is fresh and better than taco bell quality and it helps that they’re always open late for the late night meals.

I have tried… I’ve really tried… and I just… can’t…EAT HERE. The only palatable item is a churro. Sometimes the churro isn’t cooked all the way and is still frozen inside. YEECH. If you want a place to lose your lunch (or breakfast, or dinner), by all means, hit up Del Taco.

I am a major fan of Del Taco. When I found out that this one opened in Ohio, my friends and I drove 10 hours from the east coast (Delaware) just to eat here!
When I ate here, it was pretty new & very clean. The food is as awesome as I remember it being.
