The folks here are very friendly! Always asking if we need anything. Their also connected to the surrounding area and were giving our families areas of interest! They are remodeling slightly at this time but this doesn’t hinder the hospitality!

Despite all the good things — decent breakfast included with the room, electrical outlets for charging my phone on the nightstand, decent wifi — this property allows smoking in the rooms. The odor of stale smoke and whatever powerful masking agent used had my room smelling like the dressing room at a strip club. And yes, there were ashtrays and matches in my room — including on the nightstand! I won’t be back here any time soon.

I almost didn’t stay here because of the review by Michelle. Just want to say This Hampton Inn has exceeded our expectations. It’s clean, friendly, quiet and the price is right. I don’t know what Michelle expected? Oh, and the the toilet is a new modern low flow that actually flushes! Get with it Michelle!

This is definitely a great place to stay. Hampton Inn is consistently the best place in the price range in most places throughout the country and this is no exception. We stayed here a few times before moving to Toledo permanently and I had absolutely no complaints. Other reviews seem unjustified and appear to be nitpicking at very trivial things.

When I’m paying for a «nice» hotel… I kinda expect better. 1) Sara who answered the phone & greeted us when we arrived was awesome 5 stars for her 2) The lady at breakfast the first day was awesome, gave us all the ingredients for the food and was really sweet 3) the room was ok but I noticed 2 things right away: #1 you have to hold the flusher down a long time. #2 Things did not look that nice example the lamp was banged up, the pad of paper only had 2 sheets left 4) housekeeping-yelling all the time disturbing the peace. I was in the elevator and the door was closing and one housekeeping person stopped the elevator to get in with all the towels, cart etc and held it for another housekeeping person who chatted away to each other 5) We got a call from the front desk asking us to keep it down when we had been pretty quiet. It made me feel«not at home» I had only been in the room less than 10 minutes. I laid on the bed, went to the bathroom and turned on the sink.(Apparently they were getting calls from a guy who goes to bed at 8pm) Yes i was doing stuff at that time including singing. We ended up getting a new room and moving all of our stuff because I didn’t want the same problem the next night. 6) On the second night We were 10 minutes late for breakfast and we ran out to get an apple or something and were told we were too late. No recommendations for restaurants, no apple, no nothing… it would have been really easy for her to just give us a small box of cereal or something. 7) Housekeeping knocked on our door when the do not disturb sign was on Overall it was not a good experience. I would much rather pay less and go to motel 6 or pay more and go to a place where you feel like a guest I felt that most of the employees were«just doing their job» not trying to make the guests comfortable and several times felt that they were more interested in preparing for the next guest that my experience…(housekeeping knocking and hanging around outside the door before checkout time)
