Do not stay here. Cats in hotel rooms. No room cleaning. Nasty. We came here for a wedding and were less than impressed.

I really love the Hiltonr hotel line, however after the rude, impersonal, and accusatory treatment I received at the Hilton Hotel in Toledo, Ohio(Nov 2011) — particularly by the manager Joanna Zastocka– I have unfortunatly decided never to stay at another Hilton affiliated hotel– ever. If Ms Zastocka had even tried in the minutest fashion, to offer me at least a small fraction of the service she was obliged to– then at least some of the 88 nights I have spent in theri competitors beds, could have been in a Hilton facility. However, I never received anything other than frustration and down right lies from the staff at the Toledo Hilton. We waited three hours to check-in. Did not get any accomodations, no free drinks, not even a free newspaper– I even had to pay for a deck of cards to play with while we waited. When we finally got our room, it was smelly, and had the wallpaper peeling off the wall, and there was no operating phone in the room. But, there were planty of ants. The bar was great, but when you are paying 7 $ for a rum and coke, it should be great. After our stay, I sent numerous emails and made several phone calls to express my discomfort– and did not receive any consolation. Sadly, I turned in my Hilton Hhonors Platinum card after this fiasco. Got to love Marriot. Be warned.

Very remote and tucked into the University of Toledo campus, only found easily because of my GPS at midnight. An eye-sore from the outside, but surprising very clean and updated on the inside. My room and bathroom were spacious supplied with plenty of amenities including fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker. At at discounted rate of $ 96/night and free parking and wifi, I can’t complain. I had a king size bed that was average, comfortable. I had to be at the campus at 7 am and the man driving the shuttle was extremely accommodating and drove me to the front of my destination, a complimentary service. Free coffee was already ready in the lobby at 6 am. There is also an underground tunnel that connects the hotel to the hospital.

I am giving this hotel three stars instead of two solely because of the waitstaff in the adjoining restaurant/bar. SO nice. I was with a large group and they were so accommodating. The front desk on the other was incredibly rude. I printed something from my room and it was pulling teeth to retrieve it. They rolled their eyes when I asked for help and patronized me. I felt like an idiot. On a lighter note, the rooms were lovely, a little dark, but the beds were comfy and they have micro/fridge.

Location was the best part of this hotel. Since my client was at the university medical center, which is the same grounds as the hotel, we enjoyed the three minute car ride in 10 degree weather. But as for the hotel itself, bleh! TV — Small, no HD programming Bed — Meh Heater — Loud! Bathroom — Small Not my favorite Hilton by a long shot.

I have to say, this is a very nice Hilton. For me, the location was amazing — there is an underground tunnel attaching the hotel to University of Toledo Medical Center, which was where I was working this particular week, and with the 15″ of snow we got while I was there, I never had to go outside!!! Aside from that, though, the facility was top-notch. VERY accommodating hotel staff and fantastic service. The 3100(attached restaurant) was great for dining and room service, both of which I availed myself. Will DEFINITELY be going back!

Great hotel in a not so great town. This is probably the best hotel in the Toledo, but beware, the hotel is basically on the same grounds as the University of Toledo Medical Center which means there’s a constant barrage of ambulances and helicopters taking off at all hours of the day. Perhaps I should have asked for a room facing away from the medical center. All in all, I would probably stay here again. You’d be hard pressed to find anything nicer in the city.

Clean, comfortable beds, quiet rooms, free internet, and right next to the medical center if you need be. The complimentary shower stuff was by Crabtree and evelyn and was kinda smelly in a bad way except for the lotion. The exercise room looked cozy but people were using it fairly consistently. The pool looked inviting(indoor) but wasn’t available at the time. They’re very accommodating to your needs and helped me store my luggage while I checked out and stayed around for a few hours. Plus the mysterious shuttle(not on the website) to the«Express» airport 16 miles away is key. They’ll schedule to take you there whenever you need.

The bed and pillows are seriously the most comfortable bed and pillows that I’ve encountered in a long time. I really don’t want to get up! That’s probably the biggest part of a hotel stay, so it’s a huge contributing factor to this positive review. There’s a fairly nice view overlooking the medical center grounds. The room is so quiet, you could hear a pin drop. The internet is free.(not something you can say for most Hiltons). I really enjoyed this place. The only negative that I could find was that the fitness center was closed, so I would’ve had to make the trek to the fitness center next door(which I decided was too much of a hassle), and the TV channel selection was a bit lacking. Certainly a place I’ll try staying at again if I make my way through Toledo! :)

Stayed at this hotel two nights. The room was very fresh and clean. No complaints in that regard whatsoever. Free coffee service in the lobby was a bit ghastly tasting, but the coffee service in the room was excellent. Complimentary USAToday at my doorstep every morning by 430AM. I stay at many hotels throughout the country and cleanliness is very important. This one rates right up toward the top.
