Emma Julaud, CST, CranioSacral Therapy

i had a cranialsacral session with emma one week ago. i let her know before she started that i have suffered lower back issues for several years. its difficult to describe the experience but it was so good that i very much wanted to write a review and find the words. it felt to me like very subtle manipulations of my muscles, joints, the plates in my head, and from what i understand the fluids in my body as well.
i felt deeply comforted. as if i was being held in a way that allowed my body to relax and unwind in a way that it rarely can. as such, by halfway through the session i felt energetically high — not in a drugged way, but like a field of light had plugged into me and was now pouring through me. i actually sensed, or saw, light moving about me even though my eyes were closed. and something about being filled with and surrounded by this light is what made me feel high and very good.
upon completion of the session and thereafter, my back felt so much better — as if i’d just come from the chiropractor. that relief, in addition to the energetic high, «sold» me on not just cranialsacral therapy, but emma julaud’s natural gift. i am certain that it was not only her specific cranialsacral therapeutic skill that benefitted me, but her level of consciousness from which she held such a healing, safe, and supportive space for me.
i am in the process of scheduling another session with her in march and plan to continue working her. i cannot recommend her enough.

My first experience with CranioSacral Therapy was with Emma. I had absolutely no idea what to expect. Although there was no actual physical contact I could literally feel the heat and energy flowing through Emma’s hands into me, which was quite literally a magical feeling. The effects were stunning, leaving me feeling relaxed, energetic and better than I had felt in quite a while. Emma is professional, yet friendly and engaging. She also is proficient in Swedish physical massage, but I found CST to be really much more wonderful than I could have imagined. I will be using her for all my future CST therapy.

I went to see Emma for some digestive issue that was due to a trauma in my body. Cranio Sacral therapy is amazing because it brings your body and mind back to balance. After a couple sessions with Emma, my body started to relax completely and my digestion came back to normal. I had severe acid reflux and I can finally start eating what I enjoy again. Emma has a soft touch and a healing energy that does wonders. I highly recommend her!

Emma has a knack for putting you at ease, instantly. I was new to this kind of massage and unsure of what to expect, but ended up loving the results. I had been experiencing lower back pain on the right side of my body, of which I said nothing about. Not long into the session, Emma went straight to it with her hands. I could feel the tension softening and my body relaxing. It was a powerful release.
The flow throughout the whole session was subtly felt. Almost like riding the softest wave. A gentle rocking, internally, that calmed and soothed. I will definitely be booking another session. It helped me reconnect with me.

I was totally new to Cranio Sacral when I was treated by Emma. I was truly amazed at how gifted she is with energy. Her process seems quite gentle and simple, but I felt some amazing shifts happening inside me. Its almost like the process kind of sneaks up on you and don’t realize its working until you are done and you just feel so amazing and clear. Besides being an expert at what she does, I was also impressed with how professional she is and how she was very easy to schedule with and was on time with a great smile and friendliness. I will be seeing her again soon I’m sure. I would recommend her.

I was not very familiar with CranioSacral therapy until a friend of mine brought the practice to my attention. I was eight months post-​partum from my second pregnancy (and my second c-​section) and was still suffering from the toll it had taken on my body– severe lower back pain, back spasms, pelvic discomfort, aching at the incision site of my surgery. I was in pain on a daily basis and not getting relief from anything that I tried. I was a little nervous about going to my first session, not knowing what to expect, but Emma immediately put me at ease. Emma has an innate warmth and nurturing way about her that you sense in the first thirty seconds of meeting her. I knew right away that I was in good and caring hands. The environment Emma creates for the session is calming, tranquil, and meditative… you intuitively know that you are about to experience something unique. After an hour session with Emma, my whole body felt different, but I especially noticed a difference in the areas that I was carrying so much discomfort. The therapy involves a «light touch» but there is an energy and power to the touch that truly does promote healing and relief. Emma put me in such a relaxed state, mentally and physically, that I could actually feel the tension and aching being released from my body. I don’t know how else to describe it other than to say it was like an energy was flowing through my body and releasing the pent up strain and soreness. I felt more connected to my body during that session than I had in a long time and, in a unique way, I felt like my whole person was undergoing a healing process, a «restoration» of spirit and body. I felt lighter when the session was over, more free. I had trouble sleeping for months after my surgery because of discomfort but I actually slept like a baby after my session… I was really amazed by how different my body felt! Emma was also kind enough to offer me suggestions for exercises and positions I could do at home to help maintain my relief. I didn’t know what CranioSacral Therapy was before but I am so grateful that I discovered it… and so grateful that I discovered Emma! I will definitely be going back to her for more!

Emma is truly talented. I was skeptical at first. I had never tried CranioSacral Therapy before, but when I was faced with pulled muscles in my neck, shoulder and arm, I scheduled a visit with Emma. I was out of pain after the first visit, and with some follow up visits I was pain free. This last year I had a baby and due to position in the whom he developed torticollis. With a few sessions Emma was able to release the muscles and he was able to have full range of motion in his neck, and now is back on track with his development. Emma’s soft touch is relaxing and healing. She was wonderful with my pain as well as my son, who was 3 months old at the time of treatment.

I’ve had lower back and hip pain on and off for a very long time now. I started working with Emma a couple of months ago. When I’m on the table and she’s working on me, many times I can feel movement in different areas of my body, actually like a flowing?
One of the most valuable things I’ve learned from her was not to see the pain as «awful», or «I hate the pain» or «it’s bad», but instead to let go of judging it. I am so happy this clicked for me! Now when I feel pain, I gently move my body in a light stretch and allow it to move through and out. I can’t tell you what an epiphany this has been!
If you suffer from chronic pain you know, when it’s gone, it’s like wow! I didn’t know I could feel this good anymore! My pain is significantly reduced, and I feel happier and very grateful!
Emma’s ability to help the body move through any kind of trauma, whether physical or emotional is remarkable!
