Oh how the might have fallen, I had come here months ago and the place went from a hip martini bar of years past to a hole in the wall venue. Then tonight Memorial Day weekend on a Saturday I drove by and the place as closed. This would be a prime spot for a «bar rescue» show, as a overall would be needed to bring this place back to the sexiness it once was.

The only part of the night I enjoyed was walking out without leaving a tip. The server was rude, they didn’t have Guinness on tap, and it was extremely loud… not that we were complaining because we asked to be seated outside, only to get attitude from the ghoulish looking server. Never going back again…

I have heard of Lucy’s 51 for the past few months but never made any plans to actually go. Being a musician myself, James Lomenzo’s All Star Jam had gotten me very, very curious. I was a fan of his old band White Lion(Vito Bratta yeah!) and I didn’t know he was in Megadeth and BLS as well. The place has very good parking, front and back. It is a more than decent place and environment. Not too fancy and definitely not a dive. They have very good bartenders, reasonable pricing for the drinks. But asides from that, I was really for the entertainment. Godbless this place, they have made me a believer that there are bars out there who can deliver the best live music on Earth! I love classic rock, if you wanna see it performed excellent… come on Mondays. The band doesn’t seem to be snobs(unlike some open jams that I’ve been to), and these guys were the REALDEAL! They call on people to jam, the occasional Creedence Cover(they have lyrics on a tablet, onstage) they had a guy come and sing(he was from the Led Zep tribute band, Moby Dicks). They had him sing War Pigs, and I was just \m/for the entire song! Very decent crowd(it was st. patrick’s when I went) a good mix of young and old. The question is: is it always like this? I would believe so, but let’s see if next time will be better or different. The bar management seems to have good taste in live entertainment, they have blues bands on different days… I will have to check that out.

Not a fan of this place… Drinks are way expensive and you can’t even taste the booze. The bartenders are too cool for school and not in a good way… Because that’s what I want when I go out for drinks… to be given attitude by some snooty bartender… I’d rather walk a block or two more and go to the red door, where at least the staff is friendly.

the weird looking waitress is a complete snob. She doesn’t even pretend to have«customer service» skills. Which — okay — I get it. You’re there to pay the bills. you don’t love being a waitress — but part of the job is to «act» like you care. and lose the fake lashes, for the love of God, please. I was terrified they’d fall into my vodka redbull on the way over. My friend ordered a drink for a band-member…and he didn’t even ask her to take it to him. and she automatically assumed he was going to and goes«I don’t have time to take it to your friend. you’ll have to do it yourself» …we were kind’a like«uh. we didn’t actually ask you. but thanks for letting us know you weren’t going to do it anyway!» haha. Obviously didn’t say that — and she obviously wouldn’t have given a shit if we had. BESIDESTHAT… the vibe of the place is pretty cool. Definitely a hipster hang. Live music! so that’s always a plus. I didn’t try any food — but the drink i got was pretty weak — although the jack on the rocks my friend ordered was a pretty generous pour — so. thanks for that, bartender. No thanks to the waitress who simply delivered it with a smug attitude. I probably won’t come back, unless there’s a fantastic band playing or unless I go on a date with some hipster guy at some point — which is probably never gonna happen.

The food is not that great here and over priced. But I like coming here because of the outdoor smoking lounge. Well sorta outdoor. That’s a great plus for me. Feels like you are inside and you get to drink and smoke all you want. The customers here are so fake hollywood though. Given the area I guess. The service is super slow. I’d only go back if a friend wanted a place to smoke and drink at the same time. For me, that’s the only thing going for them.

Rock solid for an after work dinner location. The happy hour drinks run till 7pm, and the staff are great for keeping your drinks full, unlike some places that never come back till happy hour is OVER.

quality of food is bad, music is great. Three stars for letting Bobby Hurricane Spencer get away and not paying him enough to stay as their band. We love Bobby and will miss him. We’ll follow him to wherever he goes!

Definitely a place to go for a good martini. Well, I’m pretty much a dirty martini(gin) guy and it was great. Pretty strong, but made well. Inside is fairly spacious. Kind of a standing area near the bar and then tables throughout. Outdoor seating as well. Just park on Forman, always spots open. One negative thing is that I had to wait a little bit for service even though it was slow. Hey, I get it… you like to talk and hang with your regulars and thats fine… but the only problem is that there are plenty of bars around who have bartenders that stop what they are doing to immediately serve their customer. I may come back again, but if the conversation at the bar is more important than service, I may just walk out.

Much smaller then I was hoping, but overall cute joint(surprising they have a band stage) watch out for the falling gold frogs and I was so busy counting the frogs I didn’t even notice the lighting is off the lights of a Cadillac. very cool… it was still early in the day and in time for Happy Hour. I opted to stick with a rum and coke but then later got a freaking rican, a yummy and refreshing mojito, I was hungry but not starving so I opted to get the calamari and onion rings… when the calamari was brought out, I noticed immediately the crispy hair attached to my calamari and that was only because we sat near the window so plenty of nature light, had we been seated more towards the back I probably wouldn’t have noticed and ate it. I brought it to the attention of our waitresses as I held it up by the hair(insert vomit bag) however she was very sweet and apologized and offered to replace it. while we waited our onion rings where brought to our table. I love how they where lightly fried and not oily at all. I only assume it was either the manager or kitchen manager who brought out a much larger portion of the calamari, apologized again and aside my usual instinct to usually just walk out I opted to stay. the calamari as well was lightly fried… it’s a very mellow vibe and everyone was very friendly. as I mentioned to start with, it’s much smaller then I thought. so I can only imagine how quickly crowded it gets past 9pm, I did notice before we left a hostess showed up. I personally enjoyed the mojito and the service. I plan on returning and dining on the outside patio

I came in here last week to get a bite to eat with my girlfriend. It was still early for the weekend Hustle and Bustle on a Friday(early) evening. We came in and sat at the booth near the door. We ordered some appetizers. Calamari, Cheese Quesadillia, and some onion rings. I’m not much one to frequent lounges, but I did like the atmosphere here. The place wasn’t too dark(it was still early and the sun had not yet set outside), the lighting was pretty cool with the old Cadillac style(red) lights along the edge, and the cool(orange) light from the Golden frogs along the wall and ceiling. There was small stage in one corner when local bands can perform with some couch seating next to it and two patio areas. One in the front, and another in the back(which is a smoking area). The staff here was pretty friendly and helpful as I my girlfriend made a new friend. As I said earlier, I’m not much one who would frequent lounges but I wouldn’t mind coming back here again in the near future.

Not a fan, tried 2 different martinis, could not define if they use cheap vodka or if the bartender cannot balance well the drink once both were SUPER strong. Food and service were nice though. Décor and ambiance… needs attention!

I’ve only been here a couple of times, but was invited to meet a friend for drinks, live music and appetizers. They had they most amazing blues musicians and singers that night! Several people showed up to «sit it». The music was more than worth my while to go and I had a scallop appetizer that was so — — — — delicious. Large, fresh, lightly seared scallops with pico de gallo. Wow! They had a full dinner menu, but I went late(10:30 p.m.) and didn’t want anything to heavy. I will definitely go back and give some of their other menu items a try.

Came here to use my groupons, I purchased two that were going to expire so I came twice within a week and my second time was a much better experience. The burgers were good, you can totally tell they use good quality low fat beef on a brioche bun. My irst time though the waiter was aguy and he was not the best server he was slow didnt bring me or even offer me a drink which was supposed to come with my meal never showed up to refill my husbands drink. and the first time around we also got very little fries and onion rings it was like 5 rings with our order. the second time I had a different waitress a sweet petite young girl very friendly and attentive refilled our drinks constantly and was speedy with our food. and the burger came with a lot more fries this time I had a much better experience.

I don’t really get the gripe from the Groupon users! I had the same Groupon, had a choice amongst several burgers, had great service and enjoyed my meal. Our burgers were good, flavorful, cooked just right and made with quality ingredients. So there, the Groupon experience was fine, the food was good and the service was nice. I just think this is a bar, a night time lights low kind of bar. I have no idea why the owners would offer such a Groupon, but I appreciate that they did. Look forward to checking this spot out after the sun goes down — as it should be properly appreciated!

This place is kinda weird. From the area and outside you think it’s something cool inside but once you get inside you see a bar and tables and 2 booth. Not much other than their weird frogs hanging above you. No hostess I guess since it was 1:00pm. They just tell you to sit anywhere. The table we picked had no napkin or utensils. Waiters was nice for the most part of seeing her. Other than that who knows cause he only came back twice and one was to tell us we were good. Don’t need a receipt unless we need it for our own purpose. OK let me back up the reason why she said that was because we had a groupon for 2 burgers and 2 soda. So OK now let’s move it forward to what we can order on that groupon. Yes 2 burgers which they ONLY have 2 burgers 1. Mushroom with Swiss 2. Blue cheese bacon. WOW! Maybe I should have checked their menu before buying the groupon but I only did it cause my friend worked close by. So you know what each of is ordered one of each. Dah! Oh yeah comes with fries. So She took our drinks my friend ordered coffee instead big mistake when we got it. Cold ass F! And then we had to wait 15 mins for them to brew another fresh one. So what the hell you would give cold ass coffee? Shouldn’t you know that your coffee is cold if no one has gotten coffee all morning. Ugh hello. So I personally don’t know if I would come back here to eat maybe drink but if there is only one waitress no thank you.

Small dive bar with class. Not only did the hostesses and cocktail waitresses place 3 candles on my 38th birthday, but they also sang Happy Birthday and complimented a Stella to me. Everyone is friendly with a smile. The chicken strips were large and delicious complimented with a fresh sauce. definitely a return visit required.

Got the groupon for 2 burgers and 2 drinks for $ 10. It says it was worth $ 35 but during lunch the burgers were only $ 7 so they did some false advertising there. Service was great. We were told to seat ourselves since we were the first ones in. We chose to sit outside on the fabulous zebra print seats and we were checked on a decent amount. I got the turkey burger and my BF got the Angus burger. Both were great and came with lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. The waiter also offered us ranch when he brought our dishes out. The ranch seemed to be made from scratch and I wasn’t a fan. It was a little too creamy for me. The sweet potato fries were done perfectly. The groupon was a great deal and we’ll be back if we ever spot it on groupon again!

DIRTY&FEISTY — allow me to explain… Nenna, sexy bartender, was so feisty and cat-like, hissing putdowns and teases. If that’s not enough, she makes the dirtiest martinis EVER — so darn good. She’s definitely my kind of feline. The red lit bar, adorned a little extra during the holidays, is quite gorgeous. Red is my favorite color when I oil paint, buy artwork, and even decorate in my own place. So, I just love it even more than most. At Happy Hour, the food is 50% off, and the drinks are at a discount. I shared several items with my buddy Tony, and have to say that they make their Fried Pickles absolutely PERFECT. Not greasy, perfectly breaded, and crispy. I dream of them. Also tried their BLT and their spinach artichoke dip — mmmmmmmm. The place has flat screens all-around to watching games, good for an after-work thing, a romantic enough for a date. Red abounds. Nearly every night of the week, jazz — live music. Check the calendar or call for details on who, and what time, is scheduled.
