Deceiving from the outside, this village is just that– a whole village inside! Considering it is retail, it has a quaint, story-tale magical feeling as you wander the meandering trails with lit trees all around. Fountains, a live piano player in the town square, café tables along the«water» and little nooks with all sorts of wonderful goodies to empty your purse of coin. The prices are average, the variety of goods is fantastic and the help is reasonable. They do offer some German treats on the menu in the café and bar and the food was quite palatable. As I sat eating with my husband I kept saying«how come we didn’t come in here sooner?» I felt transported out of the tiny town of Tomah to some other worldly place. I could spend all day there.
