Applebee’s

We sat at the bar and got our drinks quickly but when I came to take our food order we waited 30 mins to be told they had no pasta no steak? It was not busy either. Smh

Good food but nothing spectacular. Had a pork chop with broccoli and sweet potato. Was delivered green beans instead of broccoli. Server corrected when brought to her attention. Pork chop didn’t have much flavor. Was supposed to be on a bed of some type of chutney which did not happen (no chutney)
Nachos were ok as well. There are also no shades on the windows and the afternoon sun was pretty glaring. Service a bit slow to be almost empty. The Applebee’s back home puts this place to shame. Can not really recommend.

Well I don’t normally give bad reviews because I think most people nit pick when giving bad reviews. But there was not one thing I liked about this place. Our server (not gonna name him) should be fired. It was that bad. Salad had rotting lettuce. Main course came out cold and mushy. And 20 minutes to get one drink order out is crazy, specially when the place was empty. I have been to outstanding Aplebees so I will not say all Aplebees are bad but this one should be avoided at all costs…

Worst service. Sat and sat. Other patrons were asking waitstaff if their food was coming out sometime today. Finally we had enough so we paid for our drinks and left.

Awesome customer service. This Applebee’s is little bit further from our place, but my husband & I would rather drive an extra 3 mile than to go to the one near 45. We are all about customer service. And this Applebee’s has an AWESOME customer service.

Walked in to be greeted by the smell of cigarette smoke. Wait staff was very nice. Wanted to substitute a side salad for French fries… was told no substitutions. I would have gladly paid the extra charge for subbing. Was very off putting. My silverware wrapped in the napkin was dirty. Yuck!
Ordered mushroom Swiss burger and home style chips because they would sub a salad. The burger had like 3 mushrooms on it. Very disappointing. Personal preference but the bun was too sweet. Bun was greasy. House chips were nothing special. Would have preferred that my burger had only one slice of cheese instead of two and had more mushrooms. Feel like the manager/​owner is trying to cut costs.

My wife and I have been to this Applebee’s many times (at least 25). I’m losing faith in them. The problem is not the servers or the bartenders. The servers, and especially the bartenders, are nice, friendly, and attentive. But the food is just godawful slow. Every single time, even if the restaurant is nearly empty. And many times, the food isn’t great either. I understand it’s prefab food probably straight off the Sysco truck, but it shouldn’t be inedible. But often it is. The burgers are overcooked, the fries are way too salty, the quantities are much smaller than in the past, it’s always something. And every time the meal takes forever, the server comes out and apologizes because «We are short 1 (or 2) cooks today.»
We went there just yesterday for appetizers and drinks. Now the drinks are a great deal. I will keep going there for the drinks, even if I don’t eat there anymore. Their $ 2.49 LIIT and Bahama Mama specials can’t be beat. We ordered the 3 item bar menu deal, in which you can choose three different appetizers as bar snacks. When we got them (which took a long time once again and to which we got the standard «short one cook» apology), the quantities were so small! I ordered beer battered pretzels as one appetizer and only got 2 pretzels. Our sweet potato fries plate was half empty. When we complained about the small quantities, they said because we ordered the 3 item plate, the quantities were smaller, even though it was $ 12.00 and it said nothing about smaller quantities on the menu. They didn’t offer us any more food or anything; just a lame justification: (After this disappointing experience, we’re only going back for drinks, if that. The food isn’t worth it.

Went on a Friday night at 6:30. There was no line and the place was not busy. It appeared clean. Our waiter was pleasant but after taking our drink orders, very slow. It took forever to get our salad appetizers. He came out twice and apologized but never brought them. Food was good. Not exciting, but filling. Before the meal was over, the waiter kept asking us if we wanted dessert. He asked three times while we were still eating. After finishing the meal, we ordered dessert, but again had to wait an inordinate amount of time for him to bring it. We were sorry we bothered. This would be a good place to come if we had children with us.

We sit down and order an appetizer. Later on the waitress comes back to take our order. We ordered hamburgers, at that time she said they didn’t have any hamburgers (or shrimp). We ordered some other sandwiches off the menu for 11 + 1.49 for fries (12.50). Kids had 5 meal each. The sandwiches were disgusting and the kids meals were pathetic. $ 50 for a meal McDonald’s could have outdone easily. Permanently off the list.

Came in for a quick dinner. Cheese sticks were good. I got the chicken tenders… also good. It’s no high priced place but it was clean and our waiter was nice, attentive and thanked us for dining with them. Not the best food but, it’s priced reasonably. No complaints.

Inexpensive, and good. The bar area is large and fun. $ 1 Ziegenbock beers, lots of tv’s for sports, and fun locals. The general manager, Todd, is very accommodating. This Applebee’s is a good one…

Nothing was wrong with the food or the service. Just not exciting. The restaurant was clean. The food was good. The waiter and the manager were both attentive.
They need something to make them stand out from every other restaurant of its kind.
Oh, they did have unlimited fries with their burgers. And the mozzarella sticks were good and hot.

Food = 2 stars; service = 3 stars; can’t give them 2.5 so I’m being nice and rating 3 stars. Food is crappy microwave frozen junk, service is decent. Don’t expect too much, I hear they have a 20:1 microwave to grill ratio, and it shows.

Ordered the 4 cheese macaroni with chicken and a breadstick.
Chicken wasn’t too bad.
4 cheese macaroni looked as though it had a thin runny milky sauce on about 20% of the pasta on my plate, the flavor was like tap water. I couldn’t figure out how this dish had the name «4 cheese macaroni»
It was terrible.
The breadstick served with the dish was stale and tasted very old.
I will not waste my money at this «restaurant» again.

Been here for 45 min no food! Two waitresses are taking care of everything. People standing at door 10 min before even being acknowledged. Chips soggy and got brand new batch still soggy. Scared to know what the oil looks like. No manager to be found. Oh wait found him in the bar. It was bring your kids to work day. He sat there for 45 min while they ran around crazy. Two other tables are in line to complain to him.

Haven’t eaten Applebee’s in years is in Tomball decided hey let’s try Applebee’s set is in a table where sun was shining right in my face the reflection off of the windshield asked if we could have a different table and they said the restaurant was really busy but they had over 20 empty tables did change tables took 10 minutes to get drinks receive food was bland no taste we got hamburgers was very disappointed with the food the service everything

The last review I left for this location wasn’t good at all but I have to say they have really turned around. I’ve come twice this month with a friend and both times the food has beed spot on. The first time the waiter wasn’t particularly good but managment stepped in quickly and took care of us. This last time everything from the hostess to the kitchen was firing on all cylinders. GREAT job turning it around!

This place doesn’t even deserve one star — simply a disaster. Boyfriend and I were in the area and just needed to eat. Not knowing any better, we stopped here. We were seated right away, but it took at least ten minutes before our server came by and took our drink order. Both of us ended up ordering relatively simple dishes — a chicken wrap and a BLT. You would think they were growing the lettuce and trying to catch the chicken back there. Boyfriend wasn’t feeling well and decided that we needed to get our order to go instead. After watching other patrons who arrived after us also eat and leave before us, we finally got our food at least 40 minutes later. There was no reason why a chicken wrap and a BLT should take so long, especially when there were so few people in the restaurant.
When we got home, I opened up the boxes and discovered that the wrap was far from what was described in the menu. There were literally about ten disgustingly salty fries next to it. The BLT made the wrap look like something from a five-​star restaurant. There was one piece of thick, white lettuce on top of about three thin strips of bacon smothered in a slice of American cheese. With tomatoes on top to boot. It was promptly thrown away.
Needless to say, this was my first and absolute last time at an Applebee’s.

Slow service one hour before we got are food it was cool. And I guess Thay now serve hair with there dressing. Will NEVER go back again!

We stopped here only because it was close to an event we were attending that evening and it wasn’t very crowded, so we figured we’d be served pretty quickly.
Food was average. The two for $ 20 is, I suppose, a deal, as my companions ordered that. Didn’t taste anything other than the appetizer: spinach and artichoke dip. Taste was okay, but I thought the pairing with tortilla chips was not complimentary. I kept thinking that Wheat Thins or toasted bread slices would have been more appropriate (but, of course, more expensive).
I really wanted a soup/​salad combo, but was told that was only available for lunch. Pfft. An Oriental chicken salad was ordered instead; it was adequate, but I thought pricey for what I got.
Food: worthy of 2 stars, max.
The only reason I’m giving this location an extra star: service was actually very good. We had a toddler with us, and our server (along with the manager) were very attentive and accommodating. We were checked on regularly and anything we requested was delivered quickly. We did get in and out without a whole lot of waiting and were able to attend the local event on time.
