Never coming back. Bad service never received my soup. Drink was disgusting. Waited forever for our meal! Don’t go! Saving you the headache.

Chili’s has been one of my favorite(affordable) restaurants for years. Unfortunately, I think Chili’s is going the way of Outback Steakhouse… downhill. I’ve noticed the service has quietly grown subpar and the food quality is less than desirable as well. My visits to Chili’s will be limited, at best, in the future.

Don’t even try to call in an order for pickup, unless you want to be put on endless hold… twice! No thanks, I’ll go to a place that wants my business.

Great food with great servers, unfortunately the blond hostess skipped us and took another group then when we brought it to her attention she rolled her eyes shrugged her shoulders and said«ok, how many menues… we spoke to the Manager on duty and she told us that there have been«several complaints about her today»… several today? She should have been sent home at the least, Asia, Alisha, and Ashley were great and so was the food. If they take care of that one hostess they would be good.

Good service bad food avoid and don’t expect much. Food is flavorless and I guess you get what you pay for.

We stood at the entrance for almost 10 minutes with no host in sight. We eventually went and asked the bartender to be seated somewhere. After sitting down for almost 20 minutes, no one had even come by to order our drinks/food. All the other tables around us were being served except us. Combining my hunger and the lack of service I lost my patience and we left.

Stopped by for the 2 for 20 dollars. Got the cheese fries as the appetizer and they were a good choice. I ordered the cajun chicken pasta, it was good but real heavy on the sauce. My wife had the steak which was flavorful but the piece I tried took a lot of chewing before I could swallow it. Lastly the service, I chalked it up to the young lady possibly being new. She didn’t handle her section very well, it was like serve and forget. It took awhile to get our check after we asked for it but sh will more than likely get better when she gets a little more experience.

Decent food as long as you dine in. Take out messed up our order so bad, I didn’t have it in me to call and complain. I know I should give them a chance, but it wasn’t like I was going to drive back up and get the difference in size of soup, and onion rings they left out. The grilled chicken was actually quite good. The mac and cheese, after picking it up a few minutes late, was surprisingly runny. My mom loves the potato soup, but was disappointed when she got a cup instead of the bowl she ordered and paid for. The condiments that go with the soup were pretty scrawny. Barely a tsp each of cut up green onion, bacon and cheese(which was a few slivers of cheese melted on the side the little cup.) I give it two stars because the food is okay. But it’s not enough for me to go back and chance paying for an order and only getting part of what I pay for.

The restaurant was not clean. The bathrooms smelt like urine. I took a picture of the cleaning items and cleaning buckets under the station where they serve water and tea. Condiments are stored near refill of ice tea and water. Yuck!!!

Don’t eat here!!! I have given this place so many chances and yet they let me down everytime. First it was the waitstaff who even ignored my table because I have kids. How is it okay to tell a person that is getting your service that you didn’t want to take my order because I have kids. Then the food I got hard rice with a side of brown avocado, or the hard baji tacos, or my dinner tonight. Raw meat with my Tex mex bowl and welted lettus… And my husband got cold ribs and fries. This place is a disgrace to this chain line. The chilis by my work or any other one for that matter doesn’t have any problems with my order. This place needs to be shit down!

First of all, I have to start by saying how disappointed I am that Chili’s has sold out. I mean completely sold out. The Chili’s of my childhood is gone and has been replaced by some sort of hipster-y atmosphere with a menu that I can only guess was formulated to satisfy any and every craving someone could possibly have. Chili’s USEDTOBE a mix between a Mom-and-Pop shop(amazing food) and a roadside bar(quirky, loud, fun atmosphere). I imagine Chili’s, in its prime, was very similar to Texas Roadhouse currently. Unfortunately Chili’s done f*cked up and sold out. Gone are the cool decorations.(Fun fact of the past: every Chili’s used to have an upside down picture somewhere in the restaurant. My sister and I, as girls, used to spend the time after we ordered walking around aimlessly searching for it, and it was different at every location.) Gone are the cool little souvenirs that were fun to look at. Gone are the photos of Chili Cook offs. Everything that used to be cool about Chili’s(even the cool tiles on the booth tables) are gone. Everything now is very modern looking. Stained«wood» tables, sleek glass hanging as decoration. It’s very impersonal. Now that’s I’ve confirmed your atmosphere suspicions, lets talk about the menu. Chili’s used to be burgers, Chili, chicken strips, and fajitas. Right?! Nah. Not anymore. NOW Chili’s is a mixture of texmex, flatbread pizza, and apetizers. Sure they still have burgers and chicken strips but good luck finding them on the menu. That’s not their market anymore apparently and it’s been very sad to watch, honestly. Lets talk for just a moment about their pickles. When I order ‘a side of pickles’ for my burger, or ‘fried pickles’ as an appetizer, I expect cucumbers aged in vinegar and enough salt to make my cheeks pucker. Whoever killed(sorry, changed) Chili’s needs to be enlightened on that. The«pickles» now are cucumbers, lightly spritzed with vinegar and salted. They aren’t sour. Hell, they really weren’t even salty. Maybe I’m reading too much into this, but if you can’t bring me a f*cking pickle, you don’t deserve my business. #sorrynotsorry. Overall, this is a good place to go if you’ve got an entire afternoon to wait on your food and you appreciate the smell of cigarette smoke as you eat. Other than that, you’d be better off going to the Chic Fil A down the road.

This restaurant has gone down hill fast. It used to be a great place to hang out with relatively decent food(for a chain). Today, we were a few of the first customers in at opening and while the service was decent, the food was horrible. The only semi edible food was the triple dipper which we ordered with the southwestern egg rolls(which were undercooked and not crunchy, seemed micro waved), fried pickles(in globs, stuck to each other), and buffalo bites with celery on the plate which was turning bad, were frozen and was now soft. The old timer with cheese was another menu item we ordered with a stale bun, lettuce that was slimed and dark green because it was rotting, and a puny slice of tomato that looked plastic. Others had the chicken enchiladas which were bad, but edible. The manager came over and offered to remake a cheeseburger, no way, too late, appetite was over. She offered a free dessert, well I’d like to eat a meal before I eat a dessert, another no thanks. She then offered to remove the chips and salsa we had ordered, big deal!!! *not.* I do not see a return to this Chilis in the near future, if ever.

I’ve been here at this location before for take out, but the dining experience here today was… OK. It really wasn’t that busy in here, yet our waiter took forever coming over to take our order. Then we had napkins that needed to be replaced from a spill, and he never acknowledged that let alone remove the excess trash. Our water never was replenished either. We got as far as ordering the guacamole which was bland and waaaayy too much lime. It was disgusting. May give these guys a try another time if I’m somehow forced or in a bind, but I don’t see the likelihood of that.

If you can take time in your life, stop in here with a friend and enjoy the 2 for 20 menue. Your going to spend almost that much at a fast food restruant. You get to enjoy some AC, some TV, and the menu is good. We had burgers, onion rings, chipotle chix. The ice tea is fefreshing and seems to be fresher than whats at my house.

My husband and I decided to give this location a try a couple of Fridays ago. It was busy, which should be a good thing, & we waited about 20 minutes for a table. The smoke coming from the bar was very strong. Once seated, before having a chance to look at the menu, our waitress came over and said in a bored non-interested tone and face expressions to match that she will be our server. She obviously did not want to be there and even less interested in helping anyone. We had not been to a Chili’s in literally years. We decided to share the mixed fajitas for 2 and they bring very tiny cups of toppings. We explained to our server that we were expecting enough for 2, so she brought another set of tiny cups and said that most people share. If we had known we were getting fajitas for one, we would have ordered 2 or at least an appetizer. The server was no help at all and had a nasty attitude the entire time we were seated. Not at all impressed with the bar smoke, the food or the service and will not be back!

Entrance right next to bar. Cigarette smoke is so toxic you can barely breathe. 45 minute wait to get a mediocre meal. Not a good chilies to visit!

My boyfriend and I have eaten at this location a few times, so I was surprised the reviews were so bad. My Watermelon margarita was excellent and he really liked his margarita as well. The food has been good every time, and the service has been consistently on point every time. The restaurant is clean, the only thing I can say i don’t like is that I can’t sit at the bar since they allow smoking. But as long as you eat in the dining area away from the bar you can’t smell the smoke from the bar. Overall, this location is a great chill place for a quick dinner.

This chilis in tomball is by far the best one in and around Houston. Drinks are very strong and have good happy hour. Presidente margarita is really good. Staff is always friendly and are attentive as well. Burgers are good. Southwest egg rolls are good too! Overall you can’t go wrong with a quick and affordable place to eat.

I’m going to write a review on Chili’s…crazy I know, but they literally rocked it tonight for me. A ToGo steak in general is rarely cooked correctly, and mine was spot on. Pasta cream sauce could use some tweaking, but it’s a please everyone restaurant so I understand. Cajun chicken was still moist when I got home… go try the plastic chicken at Applebee’s. Pretty brutal. Vegetables steamed correctly, and of course the Loaded Mash was a success. Beer was Cold. Haven’t eaten at Chili’s in years, and I may be a believer again. Keep up the good work! I’ll test the waters again in the near future for sure.

I have never had a bad experience at the Tomball Chilli’s. Ive had great service, and the food is consistent to the Chili’s brand, which has had an increasing variety as of late. Great place for a week day lunch on a workday in Tomball. The Lowes parking lot behind the location is also a good place to park with any large vehicle or RV, and is well lit.
