The tacos at OK, but the décor is a little tacky. I live down the street and I waited months for this place to open. I almost camped in the parking lot when they got close to opening because they had closed taco cabana and moved my favorite Mexican food truck farther away. I went in and just wasn’t excited anymore. They recently opened a chipolte and a Mel’s tacos and I usually just go there.

Great food, good prices. Love the new Taco Tuesday special, two tacos and a drink for $ 5.00. Usually eat here at least once a week and have yet to be disappointed.

I ordered the Thursday special. I didn’t realize they were closing in 30 minutes and I didn’t because they were nice and accommodating. The special is a layered enchilada. The tortillas were homemade. I chose the spicy beef. It was served with rice and retried beans. He offered me mild and hot sauce which were both homemade. I asked to get it to go and when I got to the hotel I was impressed how it was done. It was in an aluminum(round) with a cardboard top. When I opened it, I noticed the enchiladas had a fried egg on top. This was excellent!

Food was alright, went during lunch hours. Ordered the special for 12 dollars, wasn’t worth the time or money. The cashier was errogent and acted as if he had better things to do. This place is very«cliquish». And if your not a regular don’t come here lol. Will never waste my time again here. Hopefully your experience is better than mine

We finally tried Dumas’s Tacos tonight. Hubby had the Dumas Special with spicy beef. I had the brisket tacos with guacamole. I was very surprised that the food was good. We will come back. I thought that it was a bit over priced, though.

I went there for some breakfast tacos and they were very good. The best part is that the tortillas are made right there and they were right off the comal. It doesn’t get any better than that. I will try it for lunch in the future and report on that.

The tortillas where dry and doughy. It would have tasted better if you’d just gone to HEB and bought some of their made in store tortillas. The breakfast tacos had NO flavor. I had to add salt to all of them just so that they would taste like something. I got the bacon and egg, spicy potato and egg, and chorizo and egg. Even the spicy potato had no flavor, just heat. I liked the heat, but it needs flavor too! I was craving tacos this morning and I’m super disappointed. My husband got the barbacoa taco and said it just tasted like a beef roast that was made in a crock pot. He said it really lacked any distinct flavor.

This was the worst food I have ever eaten. I’ll make sure I do not go there at lunch.

2 stars for the homemade corn tortillas and friendly service. Unfortunately seems a bit overpriced for pinto beans rice and protien. to add any authenticity or great flavor(cilantro, or avocado, crema) you have to pay 50 cents additional per topping which is a small portion for the price one has to pay. I feel a bundle of cilantro is well around .99cents and whole avocado .30 to .50 cents at store. It adds up and makes and already over priced dish more overpriced. For 3 plates and queso dip we spend well around $ 30 and left unsatisfied. I won’t be returning. If i do I will get the two tacos and soda for $ 5.50 maybe additional toppings come with that for free. Seems to have a solid customer base and happy customers. Might be worth a shot for the tortillas and steak.

Queso was good but the chips tasted like the cheap round kind you get at the ballpark. The tortillas were yummy and the employees were friendly. Prices are great as well.

Actually, if I could put 0 stars then I definitely would have. Unilocal has let me down tremendously. A sign to run should’ve been that it’s set up like a buffet. You pick what you want and they give it to you. The fajita was salty. And who sells chips & salsa at a Mexican restaurant? Plus, the salsa tasted like chunky oil. The green salsa for the tacos was not spicy. Do not spend your money. The name says exactly what these tacos are.

I work at Snap Junk Removal, just across the freeway. Now that they have opened, we are starting to add Dumas’s tacos to our breakfast regiment. They are always friendly and ready to serve. They have no problem doing special requests combinations. I have a strange appetite in the morning. They cater to my breakfast taco needs. Highly recommended! try them today.

Delicious taqueria in a strip shopping center. Easy parking and access. The food is fresh, made to order as it should be with this type of food. The burritos are huge and filled with what you like. Plate specials everyday! There is a U.S. Military connection here, maybe the owner served??? Regardless, go support your local military guy and get some killer Mexican food. You will be glad you did!!!(There is a newly opened Dumass 2nd location on business 249, by Supercuts in the little strip shopping center in front of Walmart. Go there too!) Also, did you know this little restaurant was featured on The Tonight Show w/Jay Leno? Super cool!!!

I love this place! Don’t hesitate to come here, the guys behind the counter are so personable, and polite. Their queso is good, and the Dumass Special… There’s no words. Try it at least once! Can’t wait for their second location to open on 249

Another day, another taco lunch, this time on the other side of town as I had business in Tomball earlier in the morning. All I can say is: this is how you taco. They’ve got homemade tortillas, a huge plus. They’re thicker than the ones at Hello Taco, and soft rather than stretchy; a different style, but they work beautifully. I got one taco each of pork, beef, and chicken just to try a variety of meats. The chicken was stewed and shredded, a nice change from the usual grilled chicken. The beef was bold and flavorful. The pork melted in my mouth. I kept it simple with just onions and cilantro as toppings, but you can get pico, sour cream, guacamole, avocado, queso, a couple other things I can’t remember. Prices are good, too! These are messy, heavy tacos(at least if you get rice and beans like I did), and they’re all the more glorious for it. Not everything has to be refined and fancy, after all, and it’s nice to switch things up from time to time. I can’t wait to try the breakfast tacos. Their tortillas would work beautifully with a breakfast taco, especially with some potatoes. I’m happy that I’ve got a good taco place for when I’m on this side of town and can’t make it to Hello Taco for lunch!

My mom brought take out from here and I can’t wait to go back. Everything is clearly homemade(some of the best homemade tortillas I’ve ever had), authentic, flavorful, and fairly priced. The hot sauces are both delicious, but be warned, the red is HOT! As I go back, I’ll update this review and post more pics.

Been here lots, just a simple little place with friendly staff and enjoyable food. Have yet to get up and over there in time for breakfast tacos, but I like their queso, barbacoa, and fajita beef tacos. Good tortillas too. Funny name, but nice people and good for to go orders.
