Our new favorite place! Great dining experience if you want to escape the restaurant chain atmosphere. Great place to bring the kiddo’s. There’s an area for them to play. My partner is a picky eater. They’re don’t bat an eye when it comes to more custom dining choices. Highly recommend!

Ive never been here before which was a MISTAKE! I should have came sooner!!! Well my mom bought a Tomball Cougar Discount Card from a school kid and this restaurant was on there. We came in and my mom has had some issues with eating burgers but we came anyways. Asked the manager if she could have a sandwich instead and he said absolutely! Then we go to pay and the cashier messes up our order so the manager says Merry Christmas and me dont pay nearly as much as we should have! And to top everything off the food that we ordered was cooked PERFECTLY and my burger was so juicy! I WILLFORSUREBECOMINYBACKHERE!!! Best burgers in tomball hands down!!!

Went there with my daughter and son in law and was not really impressed with the food. The staff is wonderful. Fried pickles were good and the fries but the pulled pork sandwich was very disappointing. My daughter had the chicken tenders and she said they were good. I probably wont be going back. Sorry guys!

My favorite small family home style cooking restaurant. Staff is super friendly and the food is always fresh and delicious! You cant go wrong with anything fried on their menu. Especially the thin and crispy onion rings. Some of the dishes remind me of Willies Icehouse in some ways. Give Freys a shot!

Frey’s is a great place for family and friends. They have a really big backyard that is covered in AstroTurf for the kiddos to play on. The menu is limited but I haven’t had a bad meal yet! They could be compared to Willie’s Icehouse but Frey’s has a local Tomball flare that gives you the impression that you might see someone you know walk in any minute.

Staff is cool Queso and guacamole is awesome. Sweet potato fries are good. The chicken sandwich isn’t chicken breast but instead 2 small chicken tinder lions with a lot of fat. Be better with chicken breast. The chicken sandwich is the reason for the 3 stars. It was so disappointing to get strings of fat in my chicken sandwich.

This is a fairly new restaurant for Tomball. Food is good, reasonably priced, and quickly served. We had a great dinner on the deck at Frey’s Backyard Café on a nice Sunday evening, Perfect weather. Delicious food and great service. You will feel like family and you won’t leave hungry! My Dad had the Jo’s Cheddar Burger and onion rings. My sister enjoyed the Santa Fe Salad with grilled chicken. Loved the spicy bacon burger and the sweet potato fries. There is a nice kid area with new field turf for a backyard it looks great! The nephews had a blast playing kick ball back there! The Frey’s will make you feel at home!

Frey’s was a nice place to relax for an evening. The kids had fun playing on the turfed back yard. Overall, I think they’ve achieved their goal here with their atmosphere and the menu. The food is fine, with your typical eclectic mix of salads, steaks, burgers, and chicken, plus a few extras like crawfish. I had bacon-wrapped chicken, which was cooked nicely and decently flavorful. The kids’ french fries were awful soggy things, though the chicken strips were well above average, and that’s the important part. Basically, if you find yourself thinking you’re going to head to Chilis or someplace like that, come here instead. Frey’s is about the same price as a casual chain, but the food’s definitely fresher and probably better for you, though it’s all relative given the amount of fried food on offer. :) I don’t really have anything bad to say, but I also don’t find myself craving a return trip, so I’ll have to settle on just«A-OK» for now.

Good prices, we order the shrimp po boy, and a burger, I would deft go with the burger again just not the po boy but what do you expect from a burger place. The staff here is super nice and helpful and the sweet potato fries are amazing. Will deft be returning
