IHOP

The staff made this experience. The host (maybe manager) was polite, and helpful. He even walked around and spoke with customers to see if all was well. Talk about excellent customer service! The waitress promptly approached me for my drink order. The food was so good, and not IHOP good, any restaurant good.

My family and I adore IHOP restaurants. We often do «breakfast for dinner» at IHOP.
Sadly this particular restaurant is beyond dirty, the floors throughout the restaurant are filthy, and so are the tables. The bathroom faucets are covered in black/​green slime, and I was afraid to wash my hands; thankfully I carry sanitizing wipes with me, but never knew I would need them at such a reputable place as the IHOP restaurant. I’m pretty sure it’s a health code violation, so someone should investigate this whole thing.
I was too paranoid to stay and order anything, so my family and I left. So sad and very uncool IHOP

Waited an hour for our food, watched the food sit in the window for over 10 minutes. Finally get our food and see a roach crawling on the wall. NEVER will I ever eat here again. This was around 11pm.

Have had adequate experiences at this location, but NOT TODAY (2−15−16).
First coffee cup literally encrusted with bits of dried food, sent it back asked for water, water glass ALSO encrusted with old food.
Waitress was kind and searched for clean glasses until she found some but then she forgot me. Refills few and far between.
Host and/​or manager very nice.
Food was sub-​par, part warm part cold.
I DID NOT FINISH MY MEAL. I feel ripped off.

This was definitely my worst experience at an ihop, I will not return to this location. They sat me in a ripped booth, my server didn’t pay much attention to me and they weren’t busy. I watched my server stand talking in the back, while my card sat on the table with my check for a good 10+ minutes.

Walked in the place seemed clean but SO HOT like the heater was blasting. Or the A/​C was broken. Eventually it cooled down. We had great service from our waiter she put in our order right away! We had pancakes, French toast an the samplers breakfast! The food itself was delicious! Will come here again if in the area.

Horrible customer service. Literally got half my order wrong after driving to pick it up. Wait another 15 minutes. Food is cold and looks like a toddler cooked it. I would give this place no stars if possible. I will never return. Trust me when I say I was not the only pissed off person in there. How do you screw up a waffle?! At least they put some jalapeño stems in my omlet… that was a nice touch.

We had an amazing experience! The food was average but the staff was phenomenal. We had Greg «2.0» as our waiter and Melissa was the manager on duty. We had two small children with us and they went above and beyond! When the older child made a comment about Greg’s hair, the manager came out and was so sweet and ended up giving them both ice cream. Like I said, fantastic staff!

This is a great breakfast place. I only come for breakfast, so I can’t judge their lunches and dinners. It’s always pretty crowded, especially on the weekends, but that tells you it’s pretty good. They don’t take reservations, but you can do ‘call ahead’ and get your name on the list. The servers have ALL been great! We used to try and get a certain server, but soon learned they were all great! It’s very nice and clean. The AC is always blowing cold! They are very accommodating with any substitutions you want to make. I’m not a big coffee drinker, but the coffee is fabulous. This is very kid friendly place. The management is always around and very friendly. I highly recommend IHOP on 249 in Tomball!

This place does not deserve that one star I am giving it.
The entrée I ordered was so bad I had to send it back. After sending it back, I just settled for a stack of pancakes. I don’t know what was in it but it left me feeling sick all night.
Air-​conditioning was out when we visited. As it got warmer and warmer, I was reassured that the AC was working again. That was a lie.
I will never visit this place again.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would, my husband asked for a chicken fried steak with no gravy, of course like in a lot of places, they just don’t pay attention when a costumer orders without something that usually that dish has, that’s not a big problem, the big problem is when they scrap it off because they are too lazy and don’t care instead of making a new one, she to the cook and waitress

Had some issues with our to-​go orders, but the manager was very lovely, and helped fix the situation in a timely manner.

Food is pretty decent, got the grilled chicken omelette which was not bad. It is a huge omelette though. Very clean and AC was blowing nicely, so very comfortable while eating. Pancakes looked delicious even though I don’t eat pancakes. Waiter was good with refills and checking on us. Overall a good place to grab breakfast or dinner late at night.

It is what it is. IHOP. It’s like McDonald’s, not great, but always know what to expect. The cheesecake pancakes were really good… my omelet (spinach/​mushroom) was a little light the hollandaise… But I like a lot of it. Balloon lady was very nice. It’s all good.

Food was great. Service was terrible. Took the waitress 15 minutes to get our drinks. We were sat first before the couples next to us and they received their drinks and food first. Had to ask the host for my bill and togo box
I will not be returning.

It’s iHop. You know what kind of food you are going to get.
Let me write this review based on the things that set each location apart.
Parking: Sucks. Very limited corner parking area. In and out from the feeder or Spring-​Cypress is difficult; especially if you are in a larger vehicle like my F-​150.
Service: I have always had pretty decent service here. It always seems to be busy. I mean have to put your name on a list and wait busy. But once they get you to a table you get quick coffee and your food comes out pretty fast too. There seems to be little wait staff turnover. That’s always nice to see the same servers in there on many visits. It’s not white tablecloth restaurant level service. But as slammed as they usually are it’s ok.
Cleanliness: Like I said, I have rarely been in this location when it hasn’t been busy. But they clean the tables right away and get you to your seat pretty quickly. I don’t notice icky, sticky syrup containers here like I do some locations. That always tells me they take the extra minute to wipe them off.
I like iHop and can deal with the fact that it’s just a regular ol’ casual breakfast place. Sometimes it’s filled with kids or we get packed in on tiny little tables and sometimes your eggs come out a bit before your pancakes or you don’t get enough butter for your pancakes.
It is what it is. If you want basic iHop food in this neck of the woods… here ya go!

Excellent service each time I come here! My girlfriend and I probably eat here one or twice a month. She is always extremely satisfied with her 2×2×2 and I could eat the chicken and waffles for days. Every waiter/​waitress I’ve had is always excited and I’ve never had a problem here. I can tell the management is excellent! I look forward to coming each time!

What can you say about an IHOP?. I am going to be devils advocate on this particular location because I have had horrible service the last few, or make that every time ive been. They have a back section separated by a wall, which is nice and personal… except it stays that way, as the waitstaff cannot see you, and are not attentive enough to check.
Every other review list excellent service, so to each his or her own…
The food is on par with any other IHOP location II have graced with my presence, the service just falls flat on its face time after time.
The last outting I made the manager did stop by each table and ask how everything was after we got the check, which is always nice but it didnt make up for having an empty glass for 30 minutes and waiting for our check for another 20 minutes.

Don’t want to do a full review (it’s an IHOP — you probably already have your opinion), but a specific comment. The service at this IHOP is consistently excellent, from the front line servers to the managers. Friendly, helpful, efficient, good attitudes — not easy in the crazy breakfast environment. I can only guess that this flows down from some good management.
