The food was wonderful and pleasantly filling. As for the staff, they were all friendly and seemed to enjoy working there immensely. The décor was stunning and the atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning soon.

I’ve been here plenty times before and only had a couple issues, but as of recent — the past two times I’ve been here I’ve gotten sick. Not severe, but just had a stomach ache and not because I ate too much — like the run for the bathroom kind of ache. Service okay — being that all they do is fill your drink and keep the table clean. Prices are pretty high. They offer a large amount of food. The women’s restroom always has an annoying beeping sound and smells funny.

Your average Chinese food buffet. The selection is decent but not impressive. The quality of food is average. The staff is friendly & prompt. They keep the tables cleaned off. They refill your drinks. 1 Adult buffet is about $ 10-$ 11. No tv’s to watch(thankfully). They do not have an ice cream machine but they do have ice cream that you can scoop out on your own. No crab legs.

When you’re super picky 7yo asks for THIS buffet above all others? Winner. It’s a good size. I’ve never gotten sick from it. We’ve been for lunch, dinner, and after church Sundays. We’ve had great service and no one eyes the children crazily. Always feel welcome and leave full. And I’m with the reviewer saying stop complaining about the BUFFET sushi. heheh

We concur that this place deserves a 2 star but it is inconceivable that China Sea has a higher rating. Not much to say as to the taste of the food but at least it was all filling. Good variety. Could have had pizza if I had wanted – it was on the buffet too – and four different flavors of ice cream

Sushi tastes gross, and some of food doesn’t taste very good. Customer services are really bad,

Taste of Asia has great food that’ll fill your craving for Chinese food. The awesome thing about this place is that it’s a buffet filled with some Chinese food that you might find elsewhere. The only thing that I wish was in the building was music or some type of audio playing. I feel uncomfortable eating to the sound of muffled voices.

What I like: The food is pretty good for a buffet. There is plenty to choose from, including fresh fruit, soups, ice cream bar, dessert, sushi bar, and of course a lot of hot food, with diverse range of choices. There is also a good bit of «normal» stuff for kids who are picky, like pizza and french fries. The service is always really good and you can tell their workers are very hard working. Also, the hours are good. They stay open fairly late so if you need somewhere to eat when it’s getting too close to everyone else closing, try this place. What I don’t like: The prices are higher on the weekends, which makes it totally not an option for us with 4 kids. It costs way too much for our family to go there together. I only go if I just have one kid with me. Even then, it tends to cost at least $ 20. The changing prices are totally annoying.

Love going here! A little expensive when we have the kids with us. But still very good food. They’re always cleaning counters and restocking the food.

Been here many times, never left unhappy. Food is pretty good by buffet standards and never had any problems with the service. Easily on my short list when I need to quell my Chinese Buffet craving. As for all the people hating on the sushi… its a CHINESEBUFFET, not a Japanese Sushi bar.

The food was about as good as every other Chinese food buffet I’ve ever been too. It was good enough to satisfy a craving for Chinese while also making you really glad you don’t have to eat this stuff everyday. Everything was alright until about halfway home I my stomach started to cramp up… its all fun in games until you’re a grown woman about to crap your pants! All I can say is nope, wont be going back there again!

So ate here once before and not bad BUT just ate again and YUCK. It was freezing outside with no heat on inside so steam tables looked like it was working but all the food we tried was cold with no seasonings and clamy tasting. We won’t be back.

I love this place! Food is good! You can get it to go for a great price too! Staff is friendly too! They have lots to choose from and hands down best Chinese in Tomball!

Food was ok. Steam trays seemed to not keep the food hot enough. Beware of the sushi. Hubby got food poisoning. We think the sashimi was the culprit.

Terrible! Don’t recommend at all. My husband needed a quick bite to eat before an appointment we had & the food here was inedible.

It is pretty standard for a Chinese food buffet. They are crowded at lunch time. They have a wide range of options so everyone will easily find something to eat Ice cream for dessert. My only real complaint is the clientele. Every time I’ve been there, there are children running around unsupervised and very loud. I do realize that this is common in buffets now, but it is very frustrating

Got food poisoning from the sushi. I will never return, but that’s not to say I just got a bad lot. You take the chance.

I usually don’t go to buffets. It is just a waste of money for me because i can’t make myself gorge on mass produced food. Anyhow, this place actually surprised me. It is better than most buffet in the area. My boyfriend and I accidently found the place while trying to find a place to chow down before a movie. They had a good selection of shrimp entrees, crab ragoon, and of course chicken! I was also surprise at how fresh the stir-fry noodle tasted. My boyfriend tried the Fried Frog Legs and liked it. No thank you for me! And for once an Asian buffet with American customer actually kept their Asian flavors. Everything had enough spice. Sushi on the hand — I would just not bother. So my final verdict, its worth it.
