I love this place! It’s one of the cleanest bowling alleys I have ever been too! The drinks are cheap and the bar allows smoking. It’s an enclosed bar so if you’re not okay with indoor smoking it doesn’t permeate the entire alley. My only suggestions would be to staff better during the weekends for bar help and to make sure little kids are being supervised. I got tripped or pushed at least twice by kids just running amok.

This place is horrible, staff here are not appreciative of customers or their tips! I gave the bartender a decent tip l, she just grunted and walked away, 10 lanes open and was still added to a waiting list! I don’t feel very welcomed!

Owning and running a bowling alley is the most expensive thing to do ! If ya know anything about bowling. I wish them all the luck to make it an awesome place because i love bowling and we need this. When say expensive million or more

Came for my birthday in February on a Tuesday night. with 4 generations of family. Only alley on northside not having leagues. Lanes were reasonably priced. Customer service was outstanding, let us finish our few remaining frames on game, offered plates for cake brought in. Everyone smiled. Will definitely return.

The Tomball Bowling Center just opened up again after new owners took over and did quite a bit of work. The good part, they focused on the bowling lanes. I thought the lanes were great. Way better than the old ones. Very consistent action. Also note the nasty stench of cigarette smoke is not there. They constrain smoking to the bar area now it seems. The bad part, everything else. They still have a long way to go to revitalize the place. The seating is bad, the food is atrocious(and we tried a lot of it), and there isn’t a game room or any other nice amenities yet. If you are looking for a place to bowl, then I would have no problem recommending this place. If you are looking for more than that, well, it just isn’t there yet. I hope they don’t give up on completing the overhaul.

From the stale cigarette smoke that greets you at the door to the lanes with worn through wood and balls that were pitted so bad you would think it was decoration this place was terrible. Had it not been that we promised our son to bowl and only had him for a few hours we would have left upon entry. The staff treated us like we were bothering them each time we needed drinks or anything else. The real topper was seeing the employees get off of work and sit in a car at the front door and smoke weed.

Holes In the wall, stinky shoes and a lane that kept acting up. There was a claw machine that had a 10 year old hot wheel in it. Go to the real amf not one that has false amf machines

Not particularly enthusiastic about the lane quality, staff quality, food quality… well the overall quality of this establishment. I wish I could actually be surprised I recall seeing ‘under new management’ signs up at least 3 times in the 6 years I’ve lived here. It is clear they want money only and have not figured out taking care of the reason people are there in the first place — bowling — i.e. the lanes and the pits is how you do that. The lanes are horribly cleaned/waxed. The pits are full of debris that sticks to shoes and gets carried onto the lanes. And when you draw their attention to this they act as if you sprouted 18 heads and are speaking a foreign language. The food is insanely overpriced and worse than the nastiest fast food place I’ve ever eaten in. I realise I am biased after decades of Palace Lanes, but as far as I am concerned they should be the standard and not the shining star. I’ve been to Tomball Bowl twice — hoping the second time things would be better but alas no.
