This is a solid three star restaurant with great tasting food. The pasta sauce is terrific and the eggplant parm rates better than La Bella, Amici, Rizzos, and other go-to family style restaurants. There two ways to make eggplant parm. You can bread and fry the eggplant slices before baking, or you can cook the eggplant without breadcrumbs. This is one of the latter, which is a better tasting, and prevents the restaurant from using using commercial frozen breaded eggplant. This is also true of chicken parm and veal parmigiana as well. So why the 3 stars instead of higher? This is a family style restaurant, complete with families with screaming babies, hairy men in sleeveless T shirts, and teens wearing flip flops. And yes, some people complain about the food plates being set on paper plates too. I wish I had spent more time looking at the paper plates and less time at the other patrons.

Wow, the difference of having a nice, helpful server makes in a meal. We had spaghetti parm, baked fish, chicken wings, medium sauce. Food was great, nice sauce, large servings, meaty wings. The server was not pushy, we enjoyed our dinner. A+

Looks can be deceiving so don’t judge. The menu was huge. From pasta to wings. Portions were giant. Our waitress was fantastic. She was patient with our large group and made sure we got our food when we needed to meet our appointment. Now for the food, the calamari pasta was I think an entire octopus. It was cooked perfect which is hard to do Our son said his Marsala was incredible. The hubby had the shells and lasagne. It was fantastic. A few negatives to not make it a five. The salad served with the entrees was odd with green olives and very potent white onion. My hubs dish came served in a crock but then on a paper plate. The bread served in the beginning were warmed sub rolls.

Reviews all over the board on this one. Sorry mine has to be on the negative side. The food wasn’t great it wasn’t awful it was average at best. For me the tipping point was the service. I watched as one waitress filled drinks was friendly etc while our waitress was completely miserable and zoned. I asked for a fork twice. Had to remind the waitress of our order when it didn’t show up complete and had to ask for something to drink several times.

Food is good, it’s a nice location right on the corner when you arrive to tonawanda. Looks out of date and could use some upgrades.

Nice, small Italian restaurant with a cozy & simple yet affordable wine list. Veal parm was on point with generous portions. My only thing is their sauce was a tad bit sweet, but naturally with Italian food the leftovers taste better the next day.

This place has good Italian dishes at fair prices. The portions tend towrad large. The red sauce has a homemade taste to it. My friends like this place better than I do, but I enjoy the food and the service here.

This place was surprisingly good. The interior and atmosphere won’t impress, they badly need a makeover. But service is good, and food is good and it comes out fast. The chicken parm is great. Soups are tasty. Good overall value.

You know this place is good when you hold the door open for a little old Italian couple and the husband tells me this is his favorite resturant. I tell him this is my first time here and he responds with there is not a bad meal on the menu and the staff are top notch. He wasn’t kidding, I got the chicken parm and the cheesy garlic bread. Now I probably shouldn’t of gotten this because nothing compares to what my Italian grand mother used to make me but this came in a close second. The red sauce was sweet which I didn’t think I would like at first but by the end of the meal I was craving more. The staff was great and very attentive, I would recommend this to every one.

The only reason I can’t give a five star review is because I live pretty close and would LOVE it if they delivered. Probably better for my waistline that they don’t. Anyway, I held off eating here for a while because it doesn’t look like anything special from the outside. The marquee outside never really changes and the décor looks dated. Trust– you want to look past this and venture inside. There are comfortable booths to stretch out in, or tables if you’d prefer to spread out with a larger party. You seat yourself. I’ve had their calzone(no ham sub mushrooms). Awesome. Sauce is a sweet red, calzone is made fresh. It is big but not overwhelming. The manicotti is sosososo yummy. Lots of ricotta and gooey cheese. Comes out piping hot and served with bread and butter to start. Soft bread and real, spreadable butter. Winner! My husband usually gets the spaghetti with 2 giant meatballs and a side of Italian sausage. It’s enough for another meal, easily. The cannoli are great for a take home. I like the calamari as an app and the cheesy garlic bread are great too. A great mom and pop place and wish I hadn’t waited so long to stop in. Enjoy and know they are closed on Mondays!

Decent Italian. Sauce is great. The Alfredo is pretty below average. The biggest compliant I have is the amount of meat is less than you would like. Lots of sauce, not as much of the other stuff. A very expensive place for what it is, wish portions were rethought and chicken parm wasn’t $ 18. With a few changes and a remodeled location, Touch Of Italy could really excel.

Touch of Italy is a nice little Italian joint with decent food and service. Their pizza and wings are pretty good and it’s nice you can order take out and not have to go into the restaurant to pick up your food, they have a convenient door in the back for you to use. My girlfriend had the shrimp scampi… Really it should be called shrimp skimpy. While it was tasty there were only 5 little shrimp in the enormous portion. Which by the way is how all the dishes are, huge, along with the menu itself. But it was almost hard to actually find the shrimp because there was so few. I had the ravioli off the baked Italian specialties portion of the menu and it was okay. The ravioli’s were pretty bland but the sauce and baked on cheese were good. Their sauce is pretty sweet but if your not a sweet sauce person I still think you’ll like theirs as I am not a sweet sauce kinda guy either. Not sure if it’s homemade or not but I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t. Overall not to bad, just shouldn’t be your first choice if your looking for your Italian fix.

I can’t believe anyone would give this less than a 5 star rating! This is by far my husbands and my favorite restaurant in the buffalo area. I always get the eggplant parm which is to die for and he gets the chicken Parm. Both meals leave us with a large lunch for the next day. The best part of this place is its sauce! It’s sweet and oftentimes we just order a quart and make it at home

Food was good… The server we had was slow and had a hard time multitasking. It was a tad busy but a steady flow. Others who came in after us got a different server and better service. Not impressed with the price we paid for a lack of service.

This is an old style Buffalo family run Italian jewel. Just loved the young enthusiastic server that handled our food. We ordered wings of all things and they were crispy and juicy. just right. Then we ordered the small portion of spaghetti and meatball and sausage. The portions were enormous and the meatballs and sausage were the best. Flavorful and tender. The meat sauce had that sweet Buffalo flavor and was awesome. Even the chianti was decent.

Not a fan. They have 2 different meal sizes small or large. The price difference is $ 2 so of course you get the larger item. All large means is they’re going to give you a lot more pasta however not meat. I added a photo of the huge plate of Shrimp Alfredo I had with only 6 shrimp. The dish also lacked flavor. Needed more sauce, salt and pepper. A little garlic probably wouldn’t have hurt either. My meal was also more expensive then my fiancés but yet she got a side salad and I didn’t. Ummmm? I drive past the place everyday so figured I’d give it a shot. Won’t return. Won’t recommend.

Delicious food, enormous portions! Their baked pasta dishes are amazing, I highly recommend the Baked Cavitini, which is a delightful combo of ziti, sauteed mushrooms, onions and peppers covered in their delicious sauce and smothered in melty mozzarella cheese. It’s served on what can only be described as a platter, since it’s too big to call a plate! My fiancé and my dad both swear by the Chicken Cacciatore: two huge tenderized chicken breasts, breaded and fried, then covered in sauce and cheese. It comes with a side of pasta, and we always end up taking the entire side home — since you have no room left in your stomach after finishing the chicken! Their bread is also great, little«mini loaves» cut in 3’s, always piping hot out of the oven. The soup is good, the salads could use a little work — plain iceberg lettuce with tomatoes and olives is a little bland. But who wants to fill up on salad when you have your yummy entrees on their way?

This is a great little Italian restaurant. It is perfect for those night when you just want a classic Italian dish, but with out a high price or having to get too dressed up! The portions are huge, service is great. It is our little go to Italian near our house.
