I came here based off of the reviews. I’m from NYC and my boyfriend is from Atlanta. We came here a little skeptical because when we ordered two pepperoni slices they pizza pie didn’t look like what I’m used to in he city. When we got our order we took a piece of the crust and it was beyond good. I enjoy a firm crunchy crust and this crust was beyond my expectations. The pizza was great. We ended up ordering two more slices !!! My boyfriend has visits NY a couple of times. And he says this is some of the BESTNY pizza he’s ever had and I agree. Great pizza and great service. Definitely will be back next time I come to Buffalo !!

The pizza is delicious. The actual interior had a warm and welcoming feel. The pizza is so fluffy. I don’t know what the secret is but how they rise the dough is what got this place 5 out of 5 stars. It’s a perfect ratio of dough, cheese, and sauce which is so important. Definitely give it a try. My girlfriend and I loved it. Highly recommend just onions and green peppers if your looking for a vegetarian option.

I believe Gino’s is family own and operated which makes me think most of these reviews are made by them. I say this because their food is below average to average. Their fries are okay sometimes but kill them with salt. I ordered a slice of pizza one day and one of the very unhygienic-looking workers picked it up with his bare hands(extremely unsanitary) and just flipping it on a paper plate for me. I was disgusted but I just payed for it so i ate it. It wasn’t disgusting but it was good at all. It was edible. It was cold with hard crust and nasty cold sauce. I haven’t had one but I’ve heard the chicken finger subs are decent. I recommend going to DiPaulo’s or La Hacienda’s which is right down the road.

Best pizza in Tonawanda. Get outta here with that Pizza Hut garbage. Plus, there’s Gino’s barber shop next door, so you can get your hair cut while you wait.

The hubby and I were near by Gino’s and hungry, but we didn’t want to dine out or cook back at home, so take out it was. Pizza and chicken wings seemed to be something we could agree on and because of the reviews on Unilocal,we decided to try Gino’s. The back of the kitchen was great. The guys greeted me and other pick-ups when we walked in, took care of us quickly, and were friendly and efficient. I got there a little early, so I waited a few minutes for my food, but that’s totally fine. When I got the food home about maybe 10 minutes later it was still hot and delicious. The pizza was a large cheese and personally I thought it was amazing! The cheese was good, the sauce was great, and the crust was wonderful. While it was thinner than most Buffalo pizza places, it wasn’t thin crust pizza like I like(midwesterner, sorry). So it doesn’t hit the spot, but as far as Buffalo pizzas go, I’d say this is one of the best pizza places in the city and very few people know about it. So let it be known, the only reason this isn’t a 5 star rating is because of my own personal thin-crust preference. Shameful, but that’s how it goes. My husband was on the same thin-crust page as me, but there was way too much sauce for him on the pizza, so he didn’t really care for it in general. But that’s ok, because the chicken wings were for him. Ladies and gentlemen, we may have a new favorite place for chicken wings! My husband’s number one complaint about to-go wings is they get soggy; they lose all that crispiness that makes Buffalo wings so incredible. Gino’s pizza’s mild wings might actually be the best wings he’s ever talked about, and my husband did talk about these wings later to friends. They weren’t soggy or greasy at all, keeping that awesome crispiness while still having some spice to it. However the mild was really mild, he could have probably gone with medium and enjoyed a little more spice. The blue cheese dressing was more blue cheese than dressing and the celery and carrots were chopped up to bite size bits, so I ate those. So Buffalo wings: definite win! Anyways, we totally had left over pizza and I have to say Gino’s reheated pizza might be the best reheated pizza in the world. Seriously. No other pizza reheats that well 4 days later. And I reheat most pizza in the oven(as I did with this) so it’s not an unfair claim. This place is good. Just because it doesn’t tickle my fancy doesn’t mean it’s not going to be someone else’s new favorite pizza place. The ingredients were good, the staff friendly, and the food made right. Definitely a great place!

We LOVE Gino’s pizza! Most places either have good pizza or good wings, but Gino’s has both and at great prices. The pizza is always fresh and the crust is the perfect thickness. We usually order the pepperoni pie and it’s the«real» pepperoni that’s cut the perfect size, it has just the right amount of cheese and the sauce is sweet which we like and there’s just the right amount on the pie. The wings are big and juicy and have the perfect amount of sauce on them that taste’s great too. We usually order 20 wings and always get more than that, plus leftovers always taste great the next day. Also have to give high praise for the customer service — they are always very friendly when we call in the order for delivery which is fast and always friendly too. If you’ve never tried Gino’s try it — you won’t be disappointed! It’s the best of everything!

Gino’s should get 5 stars solely on the staff’s ability to properly cook wings, but I’ve only been once. Stopped in for lunch based on previous reviews. Planned on trying Duff’s, but thought I might do better here. Wasn’t disappointed. Doesn’t look like much inside, just a neighborhood pizza shop. You won’t see any tourists here. Don’t look for decorations out front, the important part is happening back in the kitchen. The counterman took my order, fried up the wings perfectly and got me out of there quickly. The sauce was straight Red Hot & some butter, just like it’s supposed to be. If you’re sick of wing«artists» messing with the sauce formula or folks who can’t figure out how to run a fryer, go see Gino and have some real wings for once.

Consistently excellent chicken wings, fair prices, and good service. Gino himself is usually in the kitchen, or his son Dan is there constantly. I’m not a big pizza guy, though I have had it and it’s pretty good. My benchmark for pizza was Bozanna’s, which this, of course, is not, but it’s a pretty fair pie otherwise, well topped and with a light crust. When ordering chicken wings they are consistently crispy and well drained. I have yet to try a sub sandwich, but it should be good with the rest of their food. Service has been swell, the phone is always answered professionally, and they address you at the counter promptly and courteously each time. The menu on the website was outdated by several revisions at time of writing, and I have several of them myself that are different — there’s really nothing to indicate how current it is other than items are added or disappear(tacos, pizza logs), though the prices remain about the same(yet are a bit variable at the counter). Call ahead and confirm the price to avoid surprises.

Boy, do I miss Buffalo pizza and wings. And the stuff here is top notch. The ingredients are fresh and high quality. My Ohio born daughter had an epiphany after learning what real wings should taste like. I wonder if they deliver to Cleveland ? They use fabulous fresh toppings like small, thick pepperoni and good cheese. The crust is outrageous– it’s so hard to describe. It’s like good Tuscan bread– airy, but substantial? Does that even make sense. Who cares, Plato. Just eat yer pizza.

My favorite pizzeria! Like their menu says, «The secret is in the crust». If you’re ever in Tonawanda(across the street from Kenmore East) check this place out. The pizza is great but everything I’ve had here is really good. I think the main difference here is the ingredients. No shortcuts, only quality ingredients are used. The homemade sauce is so good! My fav pizzas are the sausage, onions and peppers and«Gino’s Famous White». The white pizza too(the best I’ve tried in Buffalo). Prices are reasonable compared to lots of other places. Make sure you say hello to Gino!
