I went in there with lots of sized 16 – 20 Ralph Lauren dress shirts and pants. They said some of the shirts looked«overused», but 2 were fairly new. One shirt had a small stain(fair enough), and 2 were considered junior sizes and they don’t take those. I found that odd, but ok. The sales girl accepted one shirt and one pair of pants. She offered me $ 3.70. No way, for Ralph Lauren? I would rather give these items to charity. Which I did. The store is clean and well organized, but not worth your time to sell them anything.

Pros: this is a very organized store. It’s clean and easy to navigate through the aisles. They have a little section for your child to play while you shop. Tags are easy to read. If you sign up for their emails, they send you notice of special sales and promotions. Cons: it is difficult to consign with them. They are very selective of what they’ll take, and may downright refuse to take things without looking at them.(I brought in two tubs of baby clothes and OUAC told me «they don’t sell well» and sent me right back home with them. Always call ahead and ask what they’re taking before you make the trip!) I’ve had less than stellar experiences selling to them, so I don’t think I’ll be going back to sell. I had a gruff(rude) employee looking at my things the second time I was there and it turned me off. She was trying to yank accessories off my items and tried to find any reason to refuse my items. They don’t give you much for your things and when you see what they charge for most items, it’s clear to see that they’re making a pretty good profit! In short, their prices are better than what you’d pay for new items, but still not as good as what you might find at other thrift stores, but you’re paying for the organization and good quality. Some people have great experiences, other people have not-so-great experiences. It just depends on what you’re expecting when you walk in.
