Lollipop Loft

This place is messy, dirty, and the racks are JAMMED with clothes. Kid toys are strewn about, and don’t even think about trying to bring a stroller through the store– there’s no way it’ll fit. The owner won’t turn away new clothes (as you can tell by the piles of new clothes on the counter and floor.) Prices are ok. Quality is ok.
While I was shopping, I overheard the owner making political/​religious remarks to another customer… not cool if you’re shopping and have to listen to it.
I wouldn’t consign there because I don’t think my stuff would ever be found by a buyer. it was a work-​out trying to move clothes on the racks to get a better look at something, and once I had an item out, I physically couldn’t put it back! It’s a huge turn-​off if you can’t shop the racks. I haven’t been in there in a few months– maybe she’s cleaned the place up– but I’m just warning you ahead of time: be careful!

It seems as though the store is undergoing renovations under new ownership (via a handwritten sign on the front windows.) I am not immediately inclined to venture in, but if anyone else does, I’m curious to know if anything has changed.
