PSub is my favorite sub spot, and has been since I lived in Lawrence in college and frequented Yellow Sub. I love the creamy club (usually skip the bean sprouts and sometimes add lettuce) and my husband gets the Planet Sub. They have a great Greek salad and frequently have buy-​one get-​one specials. Call ahead for quick service and the PSub app to order and pay is super easy!

One of my favorite sandwich spots has now been renovated! It still occupies the same address but now is half the size. The new reno is sleek, modern and industrial. The food remains as good as always. At half the size, it can be a tight fit during heightened business hours (especially with all the great deals they’ve had lately), but it’s worth it for the food.

I want to give them more love, but I can’t. My favorite is the vegetarian sub with jalapenos. The charge the same for a vegetarian sub as one loaded with meat. It’s hard to justify $ 9 for something without meat.

I have to say PS is becoming a favorite.
This time I had teh flavor bomb… Pesto Bello Combo with turkey and roast beef.
The meats were excellent in appearance and flavor.
The bread was baked to a dark crust. the way I like it.
The Pesto Bello has sun dried tomstoes, portobello mushrooms and a few other tasty items. They do a veggie version of it to… or you can get Tempeh instead of meat. Solid place.
And they put names on sandwich wrappers in takeout orders for groups. You never have to open and check every sandwich in the box just to find your own.

Very awesome place. You HAVE to have the cheeseburger sub, it is sooo good and tastes just like a burger! Also, you should try to find the hidden geocache in the restaurant!

Delicious! Nothing else like this place in Topeka. Fresh baked bread and a large variety of toppings for their Subs. Check out their website for a description of all the different types. I keep telling myself I’m going to try something new but I LOVE the Creamy Club and order it almost every single time.
Has a very eclectic feel to the inside. They also have a meeting room for small meetings or private parties. Fresh cookies and brewed ice tea too. If you’ve never been — try them. Nothing against the chain sub shops as I love them too, but this place is in a whole different stratosphere of yummy!

I started going to Yello Sub while in Lawrence and fell in love with it. I’m so glad they’ve branched out to Planet Sub in other cities.
The people are always friendly and the food excellent! You also get a punch card for a free sandwich after it’s completed.
So many choices of sandwiches but it seems I always get the same thing. Give it a try, you’ll be back.

I love planet sub. The food is great. The only downside is the prices. They’re not too high compared to other sandwich shops but it’s worth it. All the sandwiches are oven baked and made to order. If people want to complain about the wait they can call ahead (785) 271 6230. I have the number memoriZed it’s that good

Probaby my favorite sandwich place. They offer hot subs on just one type of bread and that’s their homemade wheat. They have a large variety of sandwiches. The wait time is a litte longer than most other sandwich places because they oven bake the sandwiches and it’s well worth it. The Manhattan one is good too as well as the original Yello Subs in Lawrence.
