This place is great and pretty cheap. I came in with a set of speakers and and amp that I got from a friend. I bought a new head unit from them which I am very happy with. They installed all of it within a day. At first I was kinda skeptical about it because of its location but you’ll get over that very fast. When I came in they had a nice Maserati getting some news speakers so I knew this place was legit. Overall this a great and easy place to come to if you want some new speakers. They even do window tinting.

I just got my stereo upgraded with Audio Matrix and I love it! The staff is very helpful and informative and they’re work is amazing for a reasonable price. I will be doing more business with them in the future.

If I could give more stars I would!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place… I have a ’65 Nova and find that a lot of places don’t want to mess with it. But Audio Matrix aims to please by always being able to do anything I ask… They definitely go above and beyond! AND at an affordable price.
I highly recommend trying them out!

Got an aftermarket Stereo put in on my Chevy Silverado. They also hooked up my rear view camera to work on my new head unit. Now the camera shows on my rear view mirror and the head unit. Mike the manager is a very friendly and knowledgeable guy. I will definitely go back for any Audio work for my truck. Everything came out very clean.

Very happy with my experience here. I have purchased aftermarket audio equipment for all of my family’s cars. The staff is knowledgeable and the installations went smoothly. Anytime I have had a question or concern, they have been more than willing to take the time to answer my questions and make sure I am satisfied. Highly recommended.

Stopped in with my brother in law to look at stereos and speakers for his truck. After he picked out a nice system with the help of Mike and
Moe I could not resist. I had to purchase a new system for my truck. Mike and Moe were so helpful and knew exactly what they were doing. I got an Alpine unit, which is exactly what I originally wanted that Excel Car Stereo wouldn’t sell me, probably because Alpine knew what kind of dealer they were. Anyway, Audio Matrix is definitely that place to go if you what a great system and a well done installation. Mike, the owner is fantastic person. What a great place.

This is the 3^rd time I’ve gotten work done by Audio Matrix and again I walk away completely satisfied. I just got all my windows tinted and new speakers installed throughout my truck. The windows came out flawless with no scratches or spots, and the sound I’m getting from my new speakers is perfect. After using stock speakers for years I’m finally getting clean, clear, quality music.
They gave me a fair price, helped me pick out the perfect set of speakers, and was in and out very fast. I would recommend Audio Matrix to any friend looking to improve their sound system and appearance of their car, these guys are pros at their craft and I will definitely be back for more work.

I never thought of taking my vehicle in for installation of Radio, Amps and speakers. I usually give it to my cuzzin to do the Installation? But after knowing how they work on my Impala 07″? It actually sounded Very Good! Wouldnt ask for anything better? The exact sound i wanted!

A friend of mine recommended this place. it was a little further away from where I live so I was hesitant to drive. Finally I had a chance to go there and get my audio system installed in my car. Oh man, I am so glad that I did drive. The guys were very professional. I have already shopped the price online and they even gave me a better price than what I thought it was a good deal. After they finished the installation they had my car vacuumed and gave back to me as a clean as it was when I dropped it off. If you’re from the South Bay, this is the place to be! The staff are very knowledgeable about the equipment and they provide multiple options to suit your price range. The speakers, amplifier, and sub-​woofer I purchased are at very reasonable prices and the sound quality is phenomenal. Installation was very quick as well and they provide discounts if needed. I highly recommend this place for anyone that needs a boost to their car’s audio. They hook it up!

I have a love for music and as many young California’s, the quality of sound in my car is very important. I have been to several audio places and had a variety of different systems put in my car. I recently replaced my stereo and interior speakers through Audio Matrix and I honestly never knew how good my car really could sound. Mike and his nephew were really helpful, kind, and professional. They quickly installed my new speakers and stereo, making sure that I knew all the features before driving off of their property. Mike the owner is great he did me and my bf stero systems. New indash on a Honda Accord I have a Sony radio system with Bluetooth usb aux radio pandora CD player with a mic and a remote also added my speaker in the back over a year ago never had any problems. My bf just recently got a mustang wanted to change the radio and add a speaker his is alpine all the same functions fast job good price. They also work on cars as well as Harley’s motorcycles car tint and everything. My bf said he brought all his cars that he had here 4 of them so they must do good work ! His favorite spot! we’ll be back for something else soon I’m sure

3 years ago I bought my first car a 1983 300sd mercedes benz. Had them instail 6 speakers go for the hertz sounds clean get a good amp to pair up. (You can’t buy a bentley and put nexen tires on it) i pair a good price if your going to get audio in your car you have to be ready to push out 1,000 bucks and more if your going to get something that sounds good. Get a good alpine headunit you can use Bluetooth they even instail a mic for you and everything! I had a terrible accident totaling my car so I bought another 300sd and ripped out all the speakers and amps then i took it to them on a day off i had to upgrade headunit because i want sirius xm paid a fair price for the instail and the new headunit they did a neat job minimal wires exposed i played it to try it out wow sounds like a concert. They instail on motorcycles too play it LOUD thats what music is for i got two subs and the bass is clean get some dynamat so your bass stays in your car! Check out their white hummer they got up front so you can see how it sounds but go for hertz and alpine!

I’m a happy customer for 4 years. These are professionals that are extremely knowledgable. Mike is the man to talk to when it comes to getting what you want. Anything audio can be done if you know what you want. Do research and tell him your vision and he will give you options to your vision. As an audiophile I must report that my vision of what my 97 camaro SS should look and sound like was seen and my goals of an audiophile soundsystem was reached. 4 years ago I had them custom build a stealth box to Match my existing box from JL. I even brought my own head unit bought on eBay to save money against their advice not to and it was no problem as I paid only for install and custom box. I recently went back last week for an upgrade. This time I bought directly from them 2 Jl 10w3v3 and replaced my Alpine W505 headunit with the all new Pioneer 4100 NEX headunit. I am a price cautious consumer and although I had to pay a bit more than online prices I know that it has to be a bit more from a retail installation store but it’s the difference between having it now rather than waiting for shipping and the potential chances the occasional defects and having to deal with that. It’s the fair price to pay and I feel I got a fair deal. Anyways I couldn’t be more happier and will continue to bring my cars in for all my audio luxury needs in the future. They do clean work that is top notch. But a true audiophile system costs money and you get what you pay for, so don’t go there and expect one for a super low price. You get what you pay for so Again do research, tell them what you want, and it might not be perfect the first time but they will get it right and you will be satisfied. They have earned my business. These guys knows what’s up. I understand it’s a business and they need to make money but their workmanship is worth more than the prices they charge. All in all a fair deal for top quality. My experience is not without flaw though. I had a these guys in the past rewire my system after my imprint equalizer died and the fm am radio didn’t work but I still had to pay for the service and since Mike was out of town, I was advised to go back soon when mike was back from vacation but I didn’t because I knew it was gonna cost more money to further fix my issues. Also when trying to get my older alpine w505 headunit (which at that time in the past was the most technologically advanced top of the line do it all double din headunit) to work with today’s apps like pandora, Apple CarPlay, ect. They failed to inform me that I could have bought mirror link which would work with old and new headunits to satisfy my needs. Instead I was lead to believe that my only option was to just get a new headunit. Hey I understand that from a salesmans point of view I’d want to sell the headunit rather that mirror link device. Also the newer headunit update was the right decision for me in this case so all Good anyways, But I would have at least told my customer that it was a cheaper option/​solution. Instead I was advised after I bought and installed my new pioneer headunit to try the mirror link device on my new headunit! Talk about sales skills. I guess I didn’t do enough research on that so please do yours. Bottom line is that I must highly recommend them but also be advised they gonna want to sell you the more expensive solution and its up to you to know if it’s the right choice. Overall an audiophiles satisfaction is hard to meet and they met mine. Love my system finished by Audio Matrix.

This place came recommended by a mechanic. And I can see why, wide selection etc. the sales man was very «don’t worry, you can always come back if you have any issue».
However, they sold me a unit that did not do the one feature I needed it to do (play an iPod/​iPhone via USB). Tried to come back to find an alternative unit and all they would do is do the sleazy salesmanship. Won’t take back or refund the unit. Trying to say they’re «helping me out» by charging me another $ 200 for a brand new unit.
Just go to Best Buy. Honestly. Save yourself the time and money. At least there you’ll be able to deal with customer service issues rather than some shady bait and switch scenario.

Went in today to purchase replacement HID bulbs for my Scion. I had done research online and found pairs being sold from $ 15 to $ 30. I didn’t want to wait for shipping so decided to go to Audio Matrix and they told me that a pair would cost $ 75 (same brand I found for $ 30). So I am giving Audio Matrix 1 star because I think they are overpriced. Went to another auto accessories store across from El Camino College and got the lights I was looking for (same brand) for $ 30.

I received quick, knowledgeable information to get the best amp for my High Audiophile system which already had a Butler Tube Amp, Diamond Hex (German) speakers, Active Clarion Controller Crossovers, McIntosh head unit and JL Audio 10WX-​4 8inch pair of bass speakers, a $ 4K system.
Both Mo and Alex knew immediately the correct amplifier to use for the bass to get the best audiophile results. His price was well within the online pricing for the same model and the brand had an excellent reputation.
I believe that Audio Matrix knowledge and wide choice of brands was very helpful for me and the depth of knowledge was exactly what I needed to balance the existing system.
Looking through the reviews I can’t help but notice, that most of the people do not sound like they have tried running their own business. Expecting that someone immediately has time for you without making an appointment, sounds more like a 12 year old stomping their feet.
There is always added value in a local shop that can listen to your needs and help match your preferences to your auto type, cabin size and listening needs. If you think you can get that easily from shopping online, you are wrong. You can try reading through many reviews but you will be buying audio, without hearing or having anyone who has heard the quality and who knows your car type and what kind of music you want to hear.
There are a lot of brands, each one tries to get new features out every few months. Some have problems. Some needs updates to fix it. You can update it yourself if you read through the manual. Why people blame the retail outlet for not reading their own manual is beyond me.
I highly recommend Audio Matrix and I suggest people thinking to buy custom audio for their car should make a list of their preferences and bring your own music collection, preferably CD or higher quality playback to listen to your choices.

The guys there were really nice and helpful. One guy even came to my car to find out what was wrong with my speakers. He looked up what speaker sizes were compatible for my car and suggested a few products.
Unfortunately, my good experience ended there. I was offered speakers at such a high price that I couldn’t get myself to purchase them on the spot — and good thing I didn’t. A simple search on Amazon revealed to me that they were trying to sell me products at two times the cost. Plus installation fees.
The guy was pretty nice, but also too deceiving to receive anything over 1 star.
I suggest you be careful when shopping here. They may actually have deals that are worth it. I consider myself unlucky.
