By the the worst Mexican food Ive ever tried to eat. No flavor! I knew once I tried their salsa and it had mo flavor that I would be in trouble. Yup dinner was bad(no flavor) so a complete waste of money. THISREVIEWISNOTFORTHISRESTAURANT. ITWASANOTHERMEXICANONENEARBY. UnilocalPLSDELETETHISPOST!

1/22/2016-This review is for the Sepulveda/Arlington address only. Just returned from lunch and I’ve got to say I was disappointed for the first time. I eat here several times a year and it seems things have gone down the hill. I ordered the green pork enchiladas and they seemed to be on the small side. The green sauce was super watery. I don’t remember it being that way before. Not much taste either. They used to give you a big bag of chips with your order and now it’s just a few chips thrown in. Rice and beans, not much flavor. I realize this is more or less fast food mexican food, but after raising their prices I expect it to be consistent as before. I realize food prices are terrible these days, but hopefully you can keep the quality the same. I’m going to start looking for another place.

Just… wow. Due to the convenience of it being in the same shopping center as Staples, my husband picked us up some dinner from this overrated spot. Their chicken tacos are discussing, my poor toddler couldn’t seem to bring herself to bite into it for a second time around, and I can’t say that I blame her. The carne Asada burritos were gross as well. Nearly $ 40 down the drain! My husband said as he was waiting on his order there was a customer complaining to the cashier, stating that the water from the water from the soda machine was brown. Yuck! The man said«it’s dirt». I don’t know with whom I should be more upset with the owner/workers that work there or at my husband for not cancelling the order. NEVER again. Both the lack of quality of the food and negligence on the cleanliness of the facility is enough for me to boycott this place. You’re better off grabbing yourself a Pollo Loco burrito.

I went there for the 1st time having seen a Best buys coupon for BOGO with 2 drinks. So I ordered a Bean and Cheese Burrito wet, and a combo plate, 2 cheese enchilada, with beans and rice. I confirmed with the cashier that the beans were vegetarian. The salsa bar is basically 2 choices, a decent mild fresh salsa with too many onions, and a hotter salsa. That’s it, no other choices, leaving me to compare this to Green Burrito(as this location was formerly GB). I say that because the prices, $ 7.95 for the combo plate and $ 6.45 for the burrito, compare this more to a La Salsa and a Baja Fresh, except at Chile verde they are limited on their salsa offerings, and the chips they gave were stale and not very good. La Salsa also has a simpler menu, less cluttered. The red sauce for the burrito was tasteless. I wold say at Mexcian Riviera in torrance, you can get a Bean and Cheese Burrito, to go for only $ 2.49, much cheaper and I wold say much, much better. Hence my 2 star rating. If the price was $ 1.99 for the Burrito and a little more to make it wet, I wold raise this to 4 stars, but at the current price, their are almost at sit down restaurants with much better quality food. So if you want Mexican fast food, but at significantly higher prices than Green burrito, come here, otherwise choose Mexican Riviera or even Snax burger(although the beans there are not vegetarian)

Got the Chile Verde plate with chips and guac. Could have used more flavor for my palette but the meat was very tender and the rice was great. Make sure you grab lots of salsa and jalapeños at the salsa bar!

In my recent visit. I ordered a Burrito. that I had been craving. a Bean Cheese Burrito with extra Carne Asada. no rice, once I received my order since I placed the order to go. got back to my office to find out that they completely screwed my order. Instead of bean and cheese burrito with carne asad they gave a burrito full of rice no beans and a bits of meat. what in the world. the girl working their didnt take my order correct. I am so disappointment they really have good food. but they need to train their staff better so they don’t mess up more orders and I had to pay extra for the carne asada, since it was a basic bean and cheese burrito and for what just to get a burrito full of rice…

Giving this place a 1 star if I could give a zero I would. Being a Assistant Manager at a food place I know how to handle clients and how to teach those as well. I understand that at times the situation at work are hard, but this girl managed to ruin it. Placed a simple order, young lady(Alyssa) let me know they were out of rice which is fine I understand. I continued to watch for almost 20 – 30 mins amazed on how she mimicked guest and gave them attitude. Talked about how she will get drunk after work and saying that shes annoyed with everyone*in a very loud voice* and all this nonsense, finally decided to cancel my order and walk away, but wait while canceling it she said,“thats fine more food for us.” Perfect isn’t it? If you aren’t astonished yet I lost count on how many times this young lady touched her face her hair and scratched her hair and didn’t wash her hands and continued to serve guest there plates. Save your money and your time!

They put a TV in the eating area. I don’t like TV’s in restaurants.

J & I walked in maybe 30 minutes before closing. The place was empty but the lady cashier was more than welcoming. She took our order and even though I felt a little uncomfortable walking in half an hour before closing, we chose to sit down anyway. Our food was brought out to us in a timely manner and she even walked it over(yay for service!). I ordered two asada soft tacos & one shrimp soft taco. J ordered the wet burrito. For starters, I guess I’m used to the soft tacos being the size of the tacos from the taco trucks. Those little mini delicious things? Yeah, so I calculated my meal size incorrectly and I couldn’t finish it. Lol. Both of our meals came with a side of chips(double yay!) and the tacos have guac inside. I have to say, I was most pleased. Except when I bit into the shrimp taco– my mouth was instantly on fire and my eyes watered up… Yeaaaaah, so I don’t do well with spiciness and I do worse with surprise spiciness. Anyway, I couldn’t venture out to take another bite of the shrimp taco. All I could taste was the mighty jalapeño hidden neatly inside. Overall, it was great. I’d rate the place 3 stars because my soft tacos started falling apart almost the moment I unwrapped them(what’s worse than soggy tacos? :[) BUT because of the excellent customer service we received, I’m bumping it up to a 4. The lady working there never rushed us out and was even kind enough to take our plates when we were done and hand us a bag for my leftovers even though it was 5 minutes before closing. We’ll probably be coming back again to try the other nomz here.

I’ll give 2 stars for the price and the fruit punch drink but the wet green chicken burrito lacks flavor. Too bland for my Mexican taste buds.

I went there last night, and the place was pretty empty. I ordered the chicken soft taco plate. The food was a little bland and greasy for my taste. The services was ok.

This is a review of two different occasions. My first experience I got a burrito covered in enchilada sauce. It was jam packed full of meat and guacamole. The wet sauce was the bomb, really flavorful. I will definitely order this again. The second time i went with my coworker because we were craving tacos. Papas tacos were very plain, no flavor even with the lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. I also tried a ground beef taco. Also lacked flavor. I will be back because my first experience was so good. We want to try their breakfast burritos and carne asada fries. Funny part is they open at 10am so it’ll be a brunch burrito.

My best friend and I used to go to Chile Verde in high school. Service is bad. Food is whatever. I just really liked their chicken taquitos back in the day before I knew what real Mexican food was.(Go to Taco Sinaloa if you’re in the area lol)

Went here for lunch today and it was surprisingly dead! Works for us as we were in a rush anyways. We got a burrito supreme and a soup and a salad tostada. Everything was good… not great. Baja Fresh is much better than here. I think their food is rather bland… really nothing too exciting… and a little high priced for what you get. It’s clean and the service is friendly enough. I only come here if I’m really craving Mexican food and I don’t have time to go anywhere else.
